What inaccuracies can you get while using a colorimeter ?

you can get oil from your fingers onto the sides that the colorimeter shoots light through to measure, which could potentially change the score you get on the display. Also, you need to make sure your liquid that you are measuring is either well-mixed or you do multiple trials with the same liquid, otherwise imperfections in the mixing of the liquid could affect the score as well. What i would do to prevent this is use the same liquid 3 or more times and put it through this apparatus to get the average.
