- How I Beat The ELITE Vortex With NO Farms... BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - this week's boss bans everything but the towers that have paragons - including the farm tower! Luckily to compensate we have double the bloons for double the income as well as easy mode, which makes this week much simpler than you think; here's my strategy to get a quick ranked time.

I’m glad ISAB loves this Boss Event. Nice to see a breath of fresh air with the Boss metas and special boss challenges, and not needing to spam Banana Farms.
Fully agreed. Bosses get boring imo after long enough without a fun meta change like this. Lately NK has just been making it like “ooooo its a boss but this time theres NO BOOMER PARAGON!!! What ever shall u do???” and then you just go dart anyways. And then next week theyre like “Oh yeah? You think youre so smart well what will you do with NO DART *OR* BOOMER!!!” and then you just go 20x stacked + buff + debuff grandmaster in to Ninja Paragon anyway
P much just repeat this cycle until you have things like that one event a few weeks back where you only had engi and ninja paragon with limited towers and it was still extremely easy and textbook to finish the same way as any other boss event
If you are quite good and min max pretty hard, you can get a trade empire BEFORE round 40. This will let you afford BOTH master bomber & permacharge in time.
I fit the maximum amount of favoured trades plus trade empire by round 45. I went for trade empire on my 10th merchantman.
You don’t need to optimize too hard. You just can’t wait until 20 boats before you get it. If you buy trade empire after around 12-15 boats, you can finish a full 20 favored trades army before round 40.

This was an enjoyable boss to do, so much so that my casual self managed to do elite. No need to bother between managing farm and defense, just merch spam with ninja bombers for the first two tiers until I can get boat paragon.
That was my exact strategy and I could've farmed even better if I had remembered to sell my ninjas immediately after I beat tier 1 and 2 instead of waiting almost ten rounds both times
I don't have all paragons unlocked yet so for me and my casual playing this boss is almost impossible now
@@The_oli4 You can still beat normal with carrier spam, for elite I only used boat, dart and a grade 1 ninja paragons alongside carrier spam again.
@@thespyhatofficial Ah thanks i will try the carrier spam then. I feel like elite would be close to impossible without multiple paragons tho. at the moment i only have boat paragon unlocked so we will see.
This was my first elite as well, but I did Aircraft Carrier for tier 1, aircraft carrier plus master bomber for tier 2, Dart paragon for tier 3, boat paragon for tier 4, and boat, dart, and ninja paragon for tier 5

This was such a fun Vortex for me since I love my Boat Farms and the Map was easier then some other weeks

This is the first boss I've beaten (regular, not Elite, but still). I second wanting more boss fights with no farms, this is a much smoother experience. Buccaneers were much easier to manage, and in a pinch they were also a source of damage.
This is actually the first Elite Vortex I’ve beaten, and I absolutely agree with it being a much smoother experience
Bosses aren't that hard either way.

I actually found this one surprisingly easy, fun concept but could be a bit more difficult
Yeah. How about next week, we get the opposite. Everything BUT paragon towers. Force players to use unconventional methods for the last few tiers. We know it’s possible to win with ability spam, but it would be interesting to see the resulting meta without makeshift paragons every tier.
i found it difficult probably cuz i didnt have engineer paragon
also i got a beeeeeeeeeg trap and it had 1mil pops and 200k money by the end of the game
Bosses without farms or with limited ones are a great idea and it removes the most painful part of doing this event. It gives you more options to plan your defense instead of pixel perfect planting bananas so you can have 1 more

It's ridiculous how much harder tier 5 is than all the others
Something easy to forget, Engineer gets bonus attack speed the longer he's up, which can make a fairly solid difference if he's allowed to stack quite a while.
It gives me sweet serotonin once ISAB finally properly pronounced Favored Trades this time 💙
Ohhhh!! The bloons are doubly stacked on top of each other for the earlygame. That does explain the increased money (I thought I had more than I ought) and why the pierce was acting up (I also noticed the Dart wasn't popping as much as it should).
Also, great vid - as always. ISAB's high-skill bloon action is my favorite content to eat snacks with.

YO ! - you won and MIB-C2A for the insta monkey! I love how finding a 4xx insta monkey for your round 200 just feels like an instant win on the next game. Out of all the changes to BTD6 from 5 or 4 i think the insta-monkeys just crack me up the most. I've got 100's and it isn't even necessary.
I really loved this vortex because it shows of how you can do any boss without farms and it's really ez
They artificially made the event itself quite a bit easier, on top of having vortex who's IMO the weakest boss by far, and that's the only reason this seems easy. If they didn't give you double pops, easy mode, and vortex instead of, say, lych it would be a different story.
I’d love more boss videos isab, even tho they might be chaotic for you with all the restarting and penalties. But i’d love more chill boss videos where you don’t even have to play ranked but just beat the bosses in unique ways and challenges.
This was a surprisingly fun Boss to do. I didn't do ranked, but I did enjoy my casual run a lot
First elite boss I managed with no TH-cam help. it was alot more enjoyable than the normal bosses
The sticky bomb stacking thing is a bit easier to pull of and just four of them do nearly as good as the permacharge overclock combo did for less money so u could have tried that as well
Somebody did this Elite Challenge in 9 minutes. Must be running on Ultra God Mode. Great video ISAB.

this was one of the best bosses, super fun
i beat it too, but it was INSANELY close. vortex got to like the very end of the map like its very bare end was still on the map the rest had crossed the end
my strategy for this Elite was to get the boat paragon first to maximize the farming the earliest
i really like NK changing up the rules a bit, sometimes it's nice to have a vanilla boss but these ones are a refreshing experience

I beat tiers 1-4 of elite vortex pretty decently by myself but good lord I had to power spam tier 5 at the end because he was at the last loop and still had 2 skulls left 😅
I dont know why but navarch of the sea can stack buff with trade empire so favored trade now got 40 trade empire buff 20 by trade empire itself and other 20 from navarch of the sea

This was my first time ever doing all 5 tiers of a boss turns out lv40 ninja can solo both t4 and 5 of regular but that’s probably obvious

I don’t know if this matters but on normal vortex, i farmed for boat paragon 20 stack before tier 4 which made an easy win
Hello isab I live you vids and I was wondering if you could antistall the rounds when vortex is on screen so you could see what happens when you reach round (40-60) (60-80)(80-100)
For third tier I used the Navarch and it shread much faster than dart
When you put your xxl trap at the entrance, why not go for faster construction? I found that with overclock it redeploys almost instantly
You should try agains but get the engi paragon way sooner,you know ,it overclocks itself and does BIG damage

They made it hard to clean up the super ceramics late game while vortex kept stunning all my paragons 💀

is nk aware that vortex stun can be cheesed by positioning towers such that they'll do near optimal damage and timed to be stunned immediately as a wave starts, allowing you to home/continue and clear the stun with minimal downtime?
it seems to me to run counter to the intended strategy of carefully placing towers where they won't get stunned, without necessarily having great uptime
i dont really see how sub 8 times are possible without abusing this considering the limited income stream means you can't afford boat/dart and 2 more paragons, but i've only been playing a couple weeks so idk maybe there's a way to do phase 1 in 30 seconds
i mean i think the stun mechanic is pretty anti-fun in general and designed specifically to extract monkey money out of players via trial and error restarts (and should probably have double the range and be affected by a linear falloff or something instead) but if you actually have the time/money to abuse stun clearing it makes top times unattainable for anyone who doesn't, which is pretty lame, i.e. it shifts the optimization of the game to of the glitch, which, again, is really lame
I used time stops at the end and monkey boost to win for my first time
For tier one I went for 3 sticky bombs and then used dart paragon for tier 2
this vortex was such good clickbait foder... a lot easier than it seems at first glance but very scary to look at the restrictions for the first time
hands down any boss bloon map that has water is an instant boat paragon no questions asked
I tried normal and was scared cuz i never did votex before and generaly didnt play a game for a long time, and i did some farming and after getting dart paragon grd 30 for tier 3 it just goes super easy mode
I wish nk did more no farm bosses. It’s so much more fun

I like the restricted farms they're going for, but placing 20-25 pixel-perfect boats 2-3 times is annoying, especially if you have to replay and/or restart the run.
Love the restriction on farming, though.

ISAB protecting the monkes while also making sure banana farms stay in cities for maximum economic buildup for main cities.
for tier 2 u actually go for a 1-0-5 ninga with 10 shinobi stacks

this vortex is pretty easy for casuals since you don't need to farm like crazy, just boat farm
They should do this again cuz we have like 2 more paragons
I thought this boss would be really hard but it was pretty easy
The boss ended up been pretty easy
I ended getting paragon for Tier 3 (Dart)
Then keeping it and still been able to afford the Boomer for Tier 4 and I was able to let the game auto run till tier 5
I did this one as well. It’s pretty easy

I couldn't beat elite vortex I got him to the last bar every time I tried 3 times but it's frustrating when it takes like 2 hours to get there

Tip: To beat tier 2 elite, you don't need a paragon. You can 20x Shinobi buffed master bomber and grandmaster ninjas. The add some extra fifth tiers around like permacharge and Moab dominator, and you can beat the boss while adding pops to your ninjas and boomerangs. It helps a little bit in the end rounds. Also, it's significantly cheaper than paragons, allowing you to farm more.
Pretty sure a paragon beats it faster though
