I usually had long breaks between each grinding session so I'd typically grind leves until I was depleted and wait a couple weeks before next time. It was fairly efficient and didnt feel like a grind. It feels like the game rewards you for just taking it chill which is nice.
Thanks a bunch for this guide! It's so beautifully produced and edited! I am very sorry you are receiving so many rude ingrates in the comments. On top of youtube not paying its creators what they're worth, I hope that dealing with this crap does not deter you from more of this content. Much appreciated, don't listen to the haters!
Really appreciated, some people are just...miserable i guess or something. But truthfully my guides have gotten a little cleaner as time has gone on. Check those out if they are of any use or interest to you, as I think the quality has improved. Thanks again though makes my day when i get a viewer like you.
I just did tribe daily quests being extremely cheap and unlocking all the rewards. Manage to use ARR crafting gear up through Stormblood with some fun struggle because I'm a massive scrooge in spending gil. But Shadowbringers definitely required me to upgrade crafting gear. Basically cost no money to do this though it does cap your levelling to about 1-2 levels on a single crafting job a day. Then I bought script gear in Endwalker to again not spend gil. Sure I missed all the chance to "legit level experience" and sell stuff early in the expansion, but I didn't care, because crafting legit is a massive gil black hole, bag space destroyer and drives you crazy sourcing all the materials, I just want number to go up the easiest way.
Should I level all my crafting classes at the same time or can I do them individually? As someone with ADHD it’s really hard for me to stay on task with one class so I try to force myself or else I’ll never get it done and this is my dilemma here 😂
There are a lot of mounts I'd still like to buy. The gil allows me to skip undesirable content sometimes. But other than that, no point, really. I do look at ffxi economics as an antfarm for real life though as alot of the principles apply to both
Sorry but i dont get anything about this at all. I go to these guilds get the jobs, then they want me to make a bronze ingot which i need materials from and where do i get them? I have to kill two birds with a stone? Where are the places to find the stuff? Where do i have to go? No clue i have to check up nearly everything and still have no clue because every guide only seems to tell you what to do if you ALREADY know what to do anyway so i cant get much out of this whole thing.
The guide states there are npcs at each guild that sell your needed materials. You can gather the materials yourself and I believe the guide shows you how to access the gathering log as well which shows you locations of everything. You perhaps need a beginning game guide before this one is of much value, because based on what you are saying you are just completely lost in the game. 8(
No I agree with you man all the guides give very unhelpful information while not actually giving anything that truly helps teach how to craft or gather the right way; just how someone who already knows how to craft or gather would go about doing it
@@jacob3761 What you watched is a leveling guide. Not a how to gather and craft guide. I am consider producing one in the future for people who are new to the game. This guide is specifically for people who are looking for the easiest path to level them.
@@Manchild_Gaming I appreciate the guide and I have used a lot of your guides in the past and they have been very helpful; this guide did help me to learn good ways to level but it gave too much information that I didn’t understand as a beginner. I think this guide is great for those who already have some experience leveling the DoH classes and is very efficient for leveling, but it doesn’t really answer most of the questions a new beginning crafter or gatherer will have, and doesn’t take into account that most beginners haven’t every touched most of the systems. The first 6 minutes are very helpful for a complete beginner, but then the next few minutes talk about all the important leveling systems way too briefly to understand how they work, which I understand was to keep the video short and to avoid info dumping too much, like how diadem works and what you should be doing there step by step, and how deliveries are unlocked and best ways to do them, and where beast tribes are unlocked and the ways you can level them efficiently while leveling DoH, things like that. Thank you for the video and it has helped, and also taught me to realize there are way more systems I need to learn alongside crafting (and gathering) before I can do it well
@jacob3761 I feel you are correct in many respects. The guide was getting long and there is soooo much to cover. I will more than likely be creating a brand new players guide soon, and more individual guide to help people through some of the systems. I will assess dawntrails new content and try to create more up to date guides based on which systems are relevent as well when the time comes. Appreciate the feedback and best of luck to you out there.
The way you rush through the lvl 20-80 section of the video makes no sense at all. I've done all those quest and cannot figure out where the hell I'm supposed to go.
Give me some more information and I can probably help you. The 20-80 section is listing the different systems in the game you should utilize while also mentioning the ones that arent as desireable. If you are lost i am assuming you have having trouble with the Diadem/Skybuilders system in the game. I will eventually make a guide that goes into fine detail about diadem and skybuilders. But I am working my way up there I am currently working on a 1-20 where i hold your hand. And will slot diadem soon enough Ask me something more specific here and I will do what I can.
Allow me to help educate you a little on how youtube works. My videos are not monetized and can not be monitored because I don't even have 1k subs yet. I haven't made a penny with any video yet. I make my content as long or short as needed. Had you watched the video, you would have perhaps written a much different comment. By the way, I believe it's an 8 minute mark for mid roll advertisements.
just got back into FFXIV after 1.5 years and flat out broke with only BTN levelled. Thx for this
I have a gil making guide as well if you ever need it

Yeah slow steady and good gil that way too.
thanks pal i really needed this

Company deliveries are really good for passively levlling your classes
Yes they are definitely helpful specially if you are short on time or just hate the Leveling process.
tysm for this vid!! this was simple enough for my stupid little brain to understand 😭

I'd do them all. But maybe mentally just do 10 levels at a time with each job
Hey what is the point of crafting when you have lots of Gil? Honest question I’m a newbie and saw u have 904 million.
There are a lot of mounts I'd still like to buy. The gil allows me to skip undesirable content sometimes. But other than that, no point, really. I do look at ffxi economics as an antfarm for real life though as alot of the principles apply to both
Crafting allows you to repair your gear anytime anywere. No amount of gil can buy the time save of repairing your gear on the fly.
Man I did everything the hard way lol
Same I literally just did like beast daily and gc turn ins all the way
so i need to be almost done with heavensward to start?
You can technically start anytime but if you want to use diadem and the skybuilders crafting then yes
