Just an update:
There's technically a small optimization you can do by doing 1x auto combo before the first skill press (if you can squeeze two dodges in there, that's a bonus), though note that you still want to get the skill off as soon as possible (especially at A6), as you won't be getting the Flame DMG/resist shred boost until you press it...!

This video is perfect for me! I started a new account recently and have been saving up for Liuhuo, originally intending to get her to A3. I have no limited 5* characters, so I think my plan now is going to be Liuhuo to A1, Lan to A0, and then possibly go after some Liuhuo or Lan matrices depending on what I have left.
Lan nids to be A1 if u r using Anna or Liu Huo (aka ammo chars)

Just got it. I thought it was not so good weapon when i thought to just roll for fun😂 but when i upgraded and used it for fun. "Oh damn. That damage" and so, i finally can solo raid boss and world boss. Her combo attack was fun. Didnt have to keep pressing attack button.

as always i would say thank you so much for liu huo analysis. i have some questions, i have a6 liu huo (samir crow a3 and 4pcs liu huo), a6 lan (4pcs lin) and a6 lin (4pcs lan). the question is. Is samir crow a3 better than 4pcs liu huo? even at hard content like OOW, Raid, etc. i hope you reply my comments

The powercreep at F2P+ is insanely broken (even moreso than Fenrir). Everyone else might as well ditch their element and build a low investment Flame team.
You won't have heal unless A3, and if you don't have good flame gear may as well just play Umi or Tian Lang dps.
atleast f2p crybabies wont complain, although because they hate flame comp and the easy way oh well they cry again. rip

Hello im just wondering if what matrices is good to use based on the matrices i have for liuhuo
my comp is Fiona A1(4pc fiona a0 matrices), Lan 3 star(4 pc haboela a1 matrices), liuhuo(i got 4 pc scylla, 2pcs shiro/samir both at 3 star)
im thinking of using 2 pcs liuhuo a0 then either 2pcs scylla, shiro or samir
what do you think? i got 46% crit chance with 3.4% crit rate and 22k flame
should i just use scylla/samir/shiro matrices and dont pull for liuhuo? or should i pull?
I've seen an A2 Liu Huo + A0 fiona + A1 Lan + buffs doing ridiculous damage in VA6, now I know why
@Maigy i get Liu Huo c6 and her matrices c3 each, i have Lin c6 and her matrices c3 Star too, and just Lan c1 with Shiro and Crow matrices c3 Star, my question is, Should i get the next 5 Stars on Lan to get her 6 Star too, or i should wait another fire unit? I have Fiona and 60 currency would it be possible for me to get the other 60pulls for Li huo and still save enough as f2p for fiese? I’ve pretty much not done any world exploration other than 100% the first area on the first map

Base on your video, her A1 is fair enough to play and A3 for little survival ability. So is it okay that I get her A1-A3 and 4 pcs of her Matrices? In sum, her 4pcs matrices could + 25% dmg boost, so I dont know is it worth to pull her matrices or using standard matrices (shiro/samir/habo/scylla).

The thing is, you need to compare the gain from the matrices over what you would use in an alternate slot - in this case, you'll be using Liu's matrices on a support weapon, meaning you're replacing a Habo or Scylla set at 0*, so the gain would be maybe like ~15%ish! Depending on your comp, I would prioritize the A3 if you don't have any survivability, otherwise, you could go for matrices if you want the damage, though do note that when we eventually (soon tm) get higher star world boss matrices, they could outperform a 0* Liu set ~
I have Fiona lihuo and aiming to get feise I need help as f2 p what matrices should I put on each weapon? Even limited ones and would love to know for this team what matrices are viable for them when spending currency on boxes for standard matrices

Sooooo saved up 32k dc 170 red nucs lost 3 pity. Got to A5 from all the flame gold I had. Spent 29.99 to get my last 30 pulls to buy my last advancement. Id say compare to my last banner pulls this was my lowest investment. I will say this monthly + battle pass made this happen. This was me collecting from the middle of Lan banner.

Is liu huo worth getting to replace a6 lin or save for future characters currently using double altered lan
Is Liu Huo trait also deal total burn damage of Cross Burn by Annabella? And you calculate with that

Soooo my current team is A6 Lin, A3 Lan and A3 Anna (no limited matrices). Do I swap out Lin or Anna for A1 (maybe A3 if I get very lucky) Liu?
I'd hate to let go of A6 Lin but I'd also hate to lose the strong heal from A3 Anna ...
The comps are fairly close in terms of theoretical damage, but I'd lean towards the Anna one or else you won't have any heals and that'll be painful! If you get A3 Liu you can probably look to use Lin instead ~
Would her Zeke and Claudia a6 work well alim more F2P and get that 30 percent dmg increase I'm also curious to know if her brother going to be a limited ?

Hi, Maygi, I'm a returnee and I pulled for A3 Fiona and A1 Liu Huo. I can still pull for one more but I can't decide which to pick. Should I go for zeke, Lan, or wait for Feise? I want Fiona and Liu as base.
Can't really comment on Feise for now because I don't look at CN kits, so for the current meta, Zeke would be a great upgrade! Though, when Feise makes her way around, someone on your team would have to get benched, so maybe wait?

I was planning to get Liu 1 star+her matrices 0 star but looking at how they barely better than Anas that I do have, I'm now thinking of just waiting for Fiona rerun.
Also, since I mostly wanted to be a support, is there any guides and comparisons on support matrices? Curently using 2x Zero and Coco matrices since someone told me Zero is the best because his % damage buff is unique
Dunno about sup guides but i guess i would grab fiona 4pc set if i wana run dps and support :o
(this set is both for dps and support and its also the meta set for all the meta teams)
Fiona matrice set effects:
2pc: increase ATK by 16%/18%/20%/22% for 30 seconds. (buff will still be there even after swaping weapons)
4pc: While Benediction Resonance is not active, after using Scatter Technique, increase final damage by 17%/19%/21%/23% for 20 seconds. While Benediction Resonance is active, after using Scatter Technique, increase final damage for self and teammates by 8.5%/9.5%/10.5%/11.5% for 20 seconds. Final damage is additionally increased based on attack by **(Base ATK/10000)%, up to 5%. (also active in off-hand slot)
Maygi is also creating a guide for Benediction (support) types, hope you can wait for it. :)

I had a break from the game; came back and got myself a Liu Huo, but... I have Huma a4, Ruby a0 and Lin a1 for possible team comps. Should I go with Liu, Ruby and Lin? Don't think I can do much better as of now. What rotation should I do with them?
The concept of the rotation is always very similar - use your other weapon skills and then main DPS on Liu Huo as long as possible (typically until 2 charge bars), then rotate back to the other 2 weapons. However, both Lin and Ruby discharges really don't offer too much, so I would jump cancel them as they're a DPS loss compared to Liu basic attacks (you can let Lin discharge go off if you need the grouping).
If you have A1 King that could be a potential upgrade from Ruby if you have A1 Liu, as detonating the A1 King burn with Liu is pretty huge value ~

If you're to pick A0 or either Fiona or Lan, I'd definitely go with Fiona!

If the Ruby Matrix is 0*, 2 Samir / Scylla is better. Note that if you have 2 piece Shiro, this is much preferred over Scylla 2-piece, unless you really need the extra shatter. If Ruby Matrix is 3*, Ruby is preferred

Fenrir and Liu Huo kind of compete for the same niche, so it's one or the other, not both!

Liu Ho comp's advantage by a lot.
Anabella was NERFED. Her gas ammo scales differently (with Lan). Old Ana+Fiona+Lan comp deals 33% less dmg in 3.0 patch. Which means that "pine comet" tests are wrong and meaningless.
More than that, c0 Liu Huo is WEAKER than Anabella c0 from 2.5 patch in Fiona comp.
