Great video on spending tips. I want to add value to the vitality potion on where they can pool the potion and burn it for the special JO day that rewards either Scylla or Haboeala matrices. They would need 50 potions for a Scylla/Habo selector which is a trade for 25 rolls (buying 2 a day) if I'm correct. It helps speed up getting them to 3*.
That is true having a 3 star Haboeala or Scylla set is really good especially if you have no limited background Matrixes. But it is hard to say how worth that might be. But let say worst case scenario Need 12 Haboeala or Scylla Matrixes for 3 star. If you by 2 a day until you have that I believe you give up 300 rolls which is close to 2 staring a limited matrixes set. Which that will be stronger than a 3 star Haboeala or Scylla, Matrixes like Gnonno, Lan or Icarus we be best to go for since you just need Elemental weapon to activate. Would say Gnonono is the best since Claudia is really strong in most teams
I agree with how worth it would be against the matrices you listed (especially Gnonno - I use them with Claudia too) and any future matrices we're getting. I would say that the value of the option would be for a deterministic approach of getting a 3* matrix set as it won't engage with any RNG.
I would also want to lessen the amount of pulls of the worst case to 175 pulls as that would be equivalent to 7 selectors while naturally getting 5 more selectors from the daily JO 3 shards for a total of 12.

Thank you for this video. I found it really helpful in my problem of other ways I could increase my cs to increase my world level. This adds a new kind of aspect to the end game and my overall experience in the game. For a tank main like myself when I look for gear should I prioritize elemental attack(first), elemental resistance(second), and normal attack(last)?
In addition is having a minimum of 11k resistance to a max of 20k resistance good for a tank?
Resistance is main thing you want for tank. Hp is not bad as well. For Titan I would still prioritize DPS gear since it is so limited unless you spend money. For my tank set I usually have a gear slot for it and gear that does not roll well turns into great tank gear.

Almost perfect video that I was looking for, love your other vids too and I appreciate the advice I get from them.
I am kinda split on the decision on how much I would be comfortable to spend on the PS release.
Personally I feel comfortable until up to 300 a month (better here than in Black Desert, lol), but I dont know if it should be more on the bundles and weeklies or the pulls because that is not even an A6 character as I understood it from your video.
Any further advice?

Do limited characters get put into the standard banner at a later date like in Arknights?
Some limited banner get put in but usually by that time pretty irrelevant. From what I have seen usually Character are most powerful followed by matrixes. (once you have a 3 limited usually new are a slight power increase). So I would focus on rolls and maybe advancement modules II
you dont get pulls just from spending tho. f2p with enough time hoarding resources can A3 each character of their respective element. so 300 is actually a good amount of money to spend enough being called dolphin. the key is time..... at the start you will get plenty, then it will decrease, but with enough time and coping a bit, you will have enough to A6 each character (+ some limited matrices)

Pc version has 3 weeks each banner and the order from volt to volt again = volt, fire, frost, (sometimes altered element), physical, and then volt again
Im gonna start w ps5 release. This breakdown was super useful but as someone who will be between mostly f2p but sometimes light spender i am kinda worried i am going to be playing weeks at a time with small progress. And the nature of rng on almost every aspect and sometimes multi layered means you can literally just waste so much time for nothing, especially f2p.
Man this seems rough. Especially the gear upgrading. There’s probably limits to how much dark crystal etc you can earn weekly too im guessing. I think the game looks so cool but man every aspect of progression makes me feel like im going to put in 500 hours and still have such a long way to go lol 😅
Can be overwhelming but biggest upgrades are the characters. So if you aim for a specific element and put most of your resources in that eventually everything else start to even out

By the way, can you recomend me any guide about relics? Im volt main but i dont know which relics i should use (including the ones that comes with the battle pass).
For a Volt Main you want to go for the new relic and try to get 3 or 4 star. Also getting Overdrive Shot 1 star would be good as well. Might be hard to do both so would focus on Omnium Shield 5 or Spacerift 3 for Non battle pass relics

Hi! I am a new player and really appreciate your guide it helps me give a rough sense on whats important and should be bought and not!
I was just wondering that it would be helpful for you to recommend some f2p / low spender friendly team thats great at low investment for new player especially with the upcoming anniversary so player can know what element is recommended
any 3.0 characters are actually f2p friendly. Here's the name of 3.0 characters, you can try to search vids about them and choose which one you like more and focus on pulling on same elements.
Liu Huo - Flame, current banner (about to end tho)
Yu Lan - Frost, upcoming banner
Zeke - Physical, upcoming banner
Mimi/Meme (it's not that meme, it's just how her name is in global for some reason) - Volt, upcoming banner
All of them works great at A0 but the most recommended is Liu Huo with Flame comp as they've been known as f2p friendly for a long time now, the other most recommended is Zeke as he has an absurd mechanic where he can execute elite mobs which can be very very useful in a lot of places. however, global is rumored to be doing some changes on Zeke, it's still not known if they will remove the execute mechanic but hopefully it's something good instead.
Personally I will recommend Mimi as she makes almost all previous volt weapons in a viable comp. If you also want to play tank, she will be good as well.
One character that's also highly recommended to get even at A0 or A1 is Fiona. She's very versatile and gives a lot of buffs. She's also some sort of a must for healers.
I would agree with what Fuannai04 says. I would choose a 3.0 character and build around that. Same with Fiona picking up a A0 or A1 may not be bad. Would not recommend to much into her with next Altered probably replacing her. But I do plan to eventually do an updated tier list in the future
before the real power creep started I used to think to a6 my favourite wpns, now I don't, barely get an a1 if anything. I really see no point in a6 a weapon that will be outclassed in a few months specially for the ones that will eventually be put in the shop. Just spend in matrices that give 100% uptime and go well with your gameplay
That is true most new units outscale the last. Just having 1 limited Matrixes set is usually good for a long time

I bought like 5 just to get my rolls past 120 and wanted a certain Titan piece. But don't really recommend that. I still got lucky consider my friend rolled over 400+ times. Another reason i would wait is you are able to save multiple Titan Stats in the future.
Dolphin reporting! I only buy packs that have more value than the weekly supply pack. I only bought the weekly supply pack 4 times over 4 banners that I got to A6 (Lin, Lyra, Fiona, Gnono).
Might transition to light spender after Zeke's banner though. So I really hope he'll be stronk considering he's the anniversary banner

Do you have any take on Mimi for global? What would you expect to be the best team for her? It seems Rubilia Mimi and Fiona is probably going to be weak because Rubilia is not very good without Fenrir, and I'm not sure if Fiona can be benched there because of the energy recharge and execution, so maybe the meta ends up being Fenrir Mimi and Fiona? Fenrir def shred is probably way better than anything Rubilia can do.
I think it is going to be Mimi Fen Rubilia or Mimi Rubilia Fiona. For global they might change things to make Mimi work really well with rubilia but not fenrir so we can replace her. But that would be alot of adjustment I am thinking so most likely Fenrir Boots Fiona and Mimi becomes new main DPS
about limited pack , a simple rule of thumb for non whale is : if the tanium per red nucleus price is higher than daily supply (90 per red nuc) it is not worth it

For the updated tank resonance changes in 3.0, it says when attacking with a weapon applies a weakpoint to the target of your current weapon. Do you have more details on this? How much of a weakpoint does it apply? How long it lasts? Would offield dmg proc it (lans umbrella) while on another weapon? I imagine it can be procced by any weapon while in foritude resonance
Not sure if off-field proc it but it is based off your weakpoint level on your gloves. If you atkwith a volt weapon it apiles volt weakpoint for the team

@@RedefineGamer hmm do you know if that works on the cactus? I’ve been trying with a friend and don’t see an increase, in fact we actually see a decrease in dmg on average. Also someone said in maygis server that they also tested it and the tank reso weakpoint doesn’t seem active. Could be a copy paste bug. I think the design of needing the titan stat and being tank reso is dumb

Vera gear is fun. I got insane engine. It is frost dmg%, frost atk%, frost atk and atk. The fun part is: i play phys.

question about elemental attack %, it affect your elemental attack sheet, thus alter damage will follow that. what about elem damage %? alter damage get any benefit from it? if not, then attack % all the way?
You are correct on that Elemental Atk% is much better for Altered. Currently the most desired Stat. But once we reach diminishing returns might want some damage % since main element usually does 90% of the damage on the team. But you get 5 rolls into damage % vs 3 rolls into Atk %. I would go for Damage % or at least save item for future
I think huge points is not worth wasting your money on tower of Fantasy. If you don't have a bind account. If you have ps4 or ps5. The systems don't have cross-save. In other words, all the work that you put is gone if you delete the game or an update.

Imo if you must spend, just for for BP + monthly pass and MAYBE a pack here and there won't hurt if you see a cosmetic or mount that you'd like. Spending for progression on things like titan mats or modules is NOT worth imo.

For Volt they are not the greatest right now but Mimi is going to greatly change things. You could keep the Nem and pair her with Mimi in the future. Then get Tian should be added to standard in a few patches or pick up a copy of Rubilia on the next rerun

I would say Volt or Physical. Especially with Zeke and Mimi coming soon. Right now Volt but difficult to play at full potential
huhuhu I still can't choose my main element! I skipped Liu Huo, I don't know if I should skip or get Yulan. I am really torn to get Mimi (but I like her the most). I am a new player so I don't have much characters yet esp the limited banners yet. I am afraid if I choose Mimi, I have to invest a looooot like a LOOOOOT and I might lose my interest in the game. I don't know if I can get Mimi a viable comp. I still don't know how players create their time without losing patience in the gacha system and the same with waiting for the reissues to make viable teams!
It is hard to decide on one element in the game. But for Mimi. I would assume you want Her A3. And we talking Meta A3 Fen and A1 Rub. Also Mimi and Rubillia Matrixes are really strong Volt is one of the most expensive Elements right now. Other Elements are Cheaper by not being so dependent on their matrixes / star levels. But could pass on Fen and wait for next Altered / Could work well with Fiona. hard to say for global

Sequential is literally just a Gear check what weapons you have doesn't matter if your Gear sucks you wont get anywhere near 2k Points I have tried multiple different Team's Limited Banner and Standart Banner and I can't reach 2k Points cause my Gear blows since I took a break right after 2.0 came out till like a week ago.
So yeah you can get Points with Standart Characters IF you have cracked Gear otherwise not even Limited Unites will help.
I could see that gear is very important. But if you can get Character and Limited Matrixes it is usually the biggest power boost.
@@RedefineGamer Have tried Flame Sequential with Zeke (2 piece 1 star shiro 2 piece 0 star Crow), Liu Huo (4 piece Huma yes I love dodge attacks xD 2 of the 4 are 1 star) and Lan [2 piece 3 star Shiro 2 piece 0 star Fiona] and I can't get higher then 1500 Points might be a skill issue on my side but Characters and Matrix are literally not even half your dmg.
People seem to underestimate Gear by a landslide 6 Star lvl 200 Ming has 1625 atk and 900 something Crit meanwhile my Gear gives me 13500 Flame atk and 7000 Crit and my Gear is trash Tier compared to folks who havent taken a break for a Year or something. xD
It is really hard to get good gear and rolls. But much harder to get the those eyepiece, skeleton, engine, and reactor. Why? You need friend or carrier to complete challenges (welp could do solo if you're very strong) which the matchmaking is too long as there's few players online at my time. My 1st acc took me around 3 months or more to get the gears (not including getting good rolls after. It's tiring but i'm just a casual player, i login to complete what needs to be accomplished every day. Now Ive created new acc and abandoned my old acc for a new fresh start.
The randomness of Gear makes its hard to get upgrades. And as you said Vera Gear is more difficult to get while being just as random as regular gear. I am hoping in later patches they add something to decrease the randomness without having to spend money.

witht the battle pass, does the $20 give you an EXTRA 15 red nucleus or just 5 extra? like compared to the $10 one?

So there is no other way to get the cybernatic arm besides buyin the rookie supplies then?
You can get it with SR relic box you need 20 shards. Or you can fight the boss Sobek and use your gold chips when opening the box

Here is what I can say on the topic, by spending around 100$ a month, sometimes less. Buying out only good packs, without weekly pass, u can keep 1 element a3-a6 and have 3 event matrice set on a0. In my book, that’s still too expensive for a game but I’m an idiot.
Unless you don’t get unlucky you can even a6 a whole element. I wasn’t lucky with chars(550 red balls for a6 Saki), so no triple a6 but I was getting a0 matrice sets for 80 pulls 3 times in a row already(with a box).
Also as a f2p you can skip your elements characters sometimes and still feel relatively good.
I could see that going for 1 element and maybe skipping full Matrixes every so often. Could get A6's fairly easily. Most of the time newest matrix is just 10 maybe 20% better than last
$100/month should DEFINITELY get you at least two A6 and 0-star 4p matrice set, otherwise it's either your luck is absolutely horrendous or you're doing something wrong. For a comparison, a complete F2P should be able to A3 *every* character in a single element, and a light spender (BP + Monthly) should get at least 1 A6 per month. $100/month is in the dolphin category, you should've been able to get much more.
@@NaoVII f2p can’t a3 a single element on average, but can a3 every 3rd -4th weapon and a1 the rest.
Never say “definitely” in a gacha game.
I’m sitting on 550 pulls since Fiona that I made a3. Icar a3 but I also have Fenfen a3, and now thinking about Yulan a6. I’m not showering in a6 chars, got only Lin a6 and Saki a6, Alice a5. I also got 3 a0 event matrix sets and sitting on 120 matrix rolls right now.
That’s pretty much what a 100$/month might give In half a year I guess?
@@names6969 Firstly, no, they can. I know at least 4 of these F2Ps who did this, they have at least 250 pulls for whenever a new character of their main element is released, there are also so many proof for this, for example, you can check this yourself, Gate's global account.
Secondly, I said "definitely" because it is definite, I've accounted for the worst scenario. Although there's a mistake on my part, I should've added "in your main element/single element", because if you want A6 on *every single element*, which means consecutive banners, that's obviously borderline impossible with just $100 a month.

For gear, I roll dud after dud, at best I gotten some usable *decent* gear after soon many trys to at least have a decent gearset to use for my main comp.. Then other people are like wow look at the 4k crit boots I go. God, end me now., it drains my will to live trying to roll the correct stats on gear..
Yes it can be rough when rolling gear. My strat is to Do Jo's and go for weakest elemental piece. Then Focus on crit. The just set it to Main element and try to get small upgrades.
Why Claudia though? 😅 I have her on my global account for free and she’s eh .-. I saw nothing special about her, I picked coco from the box and I lvd her up to a3 and she’s more useful to me now, I run Liu huo a0, lan a1 and coco a3 and I do just fine.
Claudia A1 and A5 give a skill damage boost so you will do more damage. But Coco is a nice choice if you need the heals. Out of the 4 new limited Chararcter Claudia is the best

If you didn't spend thousands, you'll do 1/10th what someone who did. If you did spend thousands, it's already obsolete. If you spend thousands now it will be obsolete in 4 months. Game is more scam than anything. Enjoy it F2P but don't spend anything unless you like setting money on fire for nothing.

At the end of the day depends on your budget and hat you feel comfortable spending. But you just should not be pressured to spend lots of money.
if u pull a0 liu huo u are already stronger than a6 anabella...just get 1 copy of the newest chars and enjoy the game u can do all content in this game easily only if u wanna push leaderboards u need whale power like in any other gacha game with leaderboards^^

This is a question that cannot be answered by somebody else, but oneself. But sure, opinions can be given. Yet, for new players the gap between old ones keep getting bigger and bigger due the additional pay to win items that keep getting added over time. I would not recommend this game to anyone.
