I applied for my spouse's 309 visa on 21/02/2023. It has been 18 months now but the visa has not been received. My husband is an Australian citizen. His sponsorship had Confirmed and sent to the department. I have been to Australia once. I updated police report again in January 2024. The account will be updated every three months. If you have a joint bank account, then why would you need to transfer money to each other, as you can both pull money out of the same account?
Not sure how to prove that?
Can they be on Tourist visa before they apply for 820?

@@raineypeter apparently you can. But getting a tourist visa when you already have an Australian spouse makes it risky.
@@muhtasimayaz as long as there is no 8503? "No further stay" condition attached to the tourist visa right?
@@raineypeter yes. Normal tourist visa doesn’t have that condition.
