How to make a leather shot bag

Matt Wanner teaches this quick class on building a shot bag with a bottle full of copper BBs (or you can use some shot). This handy little weighted bag can hold down your leather project without worry of scratching the surface. It's a simple tool you can build with a little chap leather and some weight.

The Daisy brand stainless steel bb’s are heavier if you prefer more weight than copper. I used a blue jeans back pocket and just folded it in half and glued it to make mine. Springfield Leather has one they call Dead Weight for about $12.00.
