Mmmm - please show the layout in WordPress editor. That way somebody can actually learn something practical instead of high-level discussion on page layouts.
I have been everywhere to find the exact way to take a sub-item under a Divi Primary Mega-menu and make it a PAGE and a LINK directly to what I have as a series with a lot of links in each one.
Landing page is selected as Home and post page as Blog. Menu displays a Button as Blog. I have lot of posts but those don’t show up while Blog button is pressed. Only when I change the landing page as posts it shows. How do I link the Blog button on the Home page to posts?
Sorry, as I watched the video a second time I realized that I have a question about pages. You say in the video that pages should be in the navigation menu, but if you had a lot of pages, would you still do that? My one site is on marketing products for real estate, and the pages are quite broken out by product type. Thanks!
@@Backstageincome I have created a page and different posts and added the posts to the page. I thought if I oppened the page, I would find the list of posts. This was not the case. I am not sure, but I think the page should be a category! Am I right? In Menu it looks like this: languages (Page) French (Post) Spanish (Post) Arabic (Post) The actual idea was: If the viewer oppens French, he should find the list of the titles of the posts for example "Verbs, Prepositions, Personal Pronouns etc.

I do not understand what you were trying to do regarding adding a post inside a page. You can blog using Pages if you like but that's not what they are designed for

With Elementor however you can create custom templates for posts too and assign them by custom post type, category etc.

No, categories are a way to filter... But you can have one page or post in a category

What plugin do you use to manage your pages? The free version of elementor doesnt let me edit them at all....
Elementor is a great plugin - of course, the pro version is a good plugin to have...

In theory you could say so. However posts are handled differently by the system then pages.
alll that and i still learned nothing.
Little bit at a time... Posts get updates and yoy add to them like a blog or archive and pages are static like a contact page.
