If not for him having to kill the forgotten one he wouldn't have become Dracula. Which means technically he did what the order originally couldn't by using the power he obtained from feeding from the child Carmella turned sad that no one in the order seems to know that.
I do love this game, the Castlevania: LOS series has a special place in my heart. This game isn't perfect though, the ending felt like a massive anti-climax, the plot of Inner Dracula trying make Dracula stay by turning his minions against him? Something that's really bothered me recently is how during the final boss fight, both Dracula and Alucard are fully exposed to sunlight while battling on the remains of the Leviathan and yet they're both fine.
Actually, I thought the plot of inner dracula and the castle acting in opposition to him was great as it really made the player feel that inner conflict within the subconcious that Dracula had. Especially this iteration of the character, since he had been such a devote follower of the light for some time before having fallen from grace. He was noble at heart and it cool to see an ongoing conflict within the game where he still struggles with where he stands in terms of his humanity. Most great iterations of Dracula paint him as a very grey character, and this adaptation furthers that point. I swear Dracula and Darth Vader are like the definitive characters that show how great and interesting villains can be when you flush out their story and get into the psychology of them.

The first entry in the "Lords of Shadow" series is superior in EVERY regard. Graphics, production value, care/ attention to detail, bosses-- everything. It's almost night, and day. However, had this game not been rushed out, and received at minimum the SAME level of treatment, I know it would have surpassed It's predecessor in spades. Hell, the second phase of this games final encounter with Satan was originally supposed to feature his transformation into the seven-headed Great Red Dragon from the Book of Revelations. That ALONE could have done wonders for the quality of this game. Unfortunately, however-- the final product fell short in nearly every way it could. And it's truly a shame.
Man i must say this game is GODAMMN COOL REALLY!! If they ever make a LIVE ACTION MOVIE of this game then they must HIRE KEANU REEVES because the guy literally looks 1000% accurate like gabriel belmont itself
My only big glaring complaint is this is supposed to be dracula the prince of darkness,he gave up his humanity in the first game and he's supposed to be all powerful but here it's like his human and vampire half are at war . No bro your humanity is GONE your the Lord of the undead.
It's crazy how Satan is supposed to be stronger than he was in the first game and yet he possesses fuckin' Alucard who has an 0-1(Not counting the victory involving Simon) record against his dad lmfao.
I still don't understand why is everyone like turning into weird monsters being dragged under into the blood or whatever is that because of Satan? Or Gabriel's own castle turning against him
i thinks its because gabriel wanted to reunite with his wife but the castle refuses him to leave the castle cause Dracula(gabriel) is their master I hope what im saying is correct if not then i apologies
@@koreancowboy42 yeah it's own being when you do the toy maker bods fight it explained about a family of cultists who summoned demons to do their bidding the toy maker was tricked by them into believing they enjoyed his work and would help make more toys for children he was enslaved cause he had the ability to bring his puppets to life he didn't want to do their bidding so the head of the family summoned a demon and turned him evil many years passed and the family was long dead he was still alive that's why Alucard discovered him in mirror of fate as he was still possessed afterwards one of the puppets came across him he almost struck the child but it's essence of purity helped him revert to normal he literally gave the puppet his heart that's you find him in the castle in a coffin he's the 2nd oldest living creature in lords of shadow since he's much much older than Dracula but younger than the possessed mansion
Castlevania is a living creature because it's possessed by a extremely powerful demon there was an evil family centuries ago who summoned demons to do their bidding however those demon began to overpowered them and one day a demon possessed their mansion trapping and killing the family the toy maker was enslaved by the family prior and one of demons they conjured took over and controlled him that explains why Alucard found him in the castle later on Dracula as well he's the 3rd known oldest living creature in the game1st is Satan 2nd is Castlevania
