Whether you are homeschooling young children, or a preschool or kindergarten teacher, you need to know about phonological awareness.
There are 7 areas of phonological awareness for preschool, kindergarten and young elementary aged children to master. And these skills are MORE important than learning letters of the alphabet and their sounds. In fact, some of these skills have been directly linked to later reading success.
