That Member's Mark Pancake Mix is the best I've tried, by far. Pro tip: add a cap full of white vinegar with the water and let the mixed batter sit for 10 minutes before frying. Increases the fluffiness to IHOP levels.

Scan and go and free pickup is THE BEST!! I'm not a member of Costco. The place is always too busy and when I've been there, I've not found anything exciting like at Sam's club.

Long postpartum recovery... The pickup and free shipping was hands down a winner. I canceled my Costco membership because I could barely get out of the house much less handle all that lifting and pushing. I miss some things but i haven't looked back

I have a membership to both. My Costco is much closer so I get the great deals on everyday things and the gas prices! My Sam's is where I go once a month to snag my pantry deals! I only go to Costco, Sam's & Aldi's & that works for me!
I butterfly chicken breast and fill it with goat cheese and basil. Season it the way you want (I tend to go a little towards the garlic and Italian seasoning) then bake it. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

This is my favorite channel for real conventions what's really going on at Sam's club
If you buy tortillas and don't like them, use them for enchiladas or some kind of casserole. You can also tear them up for tortilla soup or bake/fry them to make chips out of them. They don't have to go to waste just because you tried something new on sale.
Migas! Hand tear some tortillas in a skillet with butter, brown them a bit. Add eggs, scramble ev together. Add cheese and veg if you want. Hearty breakfast.

For people with food allergies/sensitivities Costco is highly superior. For the average American diet, Sam’s club wins but not everyone can eat like that :/ I’m very thankful for both options!😊
Agreed. I was so frustrated with the lack of Options for my son with allergies almost 10 years ago that I haven’t been back.

I always buy plain oats! So many ways to use other than breakfast! Cookies, energy balls, homemade granola just to name a few.

I've got to drive about an hour to Costco but I have a membership to both. I've found on items that they both have, Sam's is noticeably cheaper, but Costo has more food options. I'm glad Sam's is closer for me!
Scan and go is the deal maker!!! Also free pickup. Then with the plus membership we get cash back and free shipping. Gas prices are great. We had a dinner at church and bought the unbaked mini hoagies from the bakery. Unbelievably delicious.

I like both - and I love that they have different things on sale at the same time ! Sams has awesome clearance itsms like the 2 pack of honey that I picked up last week for $2.41 each and the cookie mix the week before for $3 each!
My favorite nut is Brazil nuts! Second favorite is pecans. I'm from Alabama and you just can't beat fresh pecans!!
My daughter has me on her Costco membership and I have her on my Sams Club. I love, love the shop and go app. My grandson enjoys a slice of pizza (I use my phone to order at Café, as well. No waiting in line with a 4 year old), while I scan my items. The Sams Club shopping app is so much better than Costco for comparing prices, as well. As far as the yummy, but maybe not so good for you items? I not only fight the devil on my shoulder, but the little devil shopping with me, lol.
We have the same thing , my son and daughter in law carry me on their Costco , we carry them on our sams , so we only pay 1 membership per year 😊

I had never even heard of Costco until recently. I grew up going to Sam's Club as my mom had a membership.
I was just talking to my hubby today about liking Sam's over Costco for the Scan and Go! We have the Sam's Plus Membership which pays for itself with earning $ back, free Online Pick-up ($4 savings), and free shipping. Even with Sam's changing to a minimum of $50 to get free shipping ,still a great deal. Oh and going in early 8a-10a M-F to beat the crowd.
Bought the Bang Bang spice and it is phenomenal!! Mixed it as the package instructions and huge hit use it for dipping and dressing! The scan and go by far is the very best thing ever and makes shopping a breeze! The frozen Members Mark salmon is my regular purchase, I usually hate frozen salmon but when thawed and cooked (usually in air fryer) is fantastic! I didn’t renew my Costco membership because I love Sam’s better. Awesome video Christine😊

Our Sam’s Club (OH) usually beats local gas prices by 35 cents per gallon on a good day so it’s nice for fill ups in between using our earned monthly Kroger fuel rewards. I agree on commercial bakeries not being very tasty but Sam’s is the best I’ve tried! Their tuxedo cake?!?! Amazing. My favorite nut is a cashew too but my favorite nut purchase at Sam’s is the Hunter Mix. I love the sesame sticks in there and it cures the salty cravings. 🤗
I bought the Aldi blue corn tortilla chips and I think I'm in love forever. Also, they were $1.89/bag. Yes please!

Sams small croissants are the best thing ever. I've made my own and for 6 bucks for 20 of them, I'll not bother to spend the day making croissants again. Buttery goodness for less than 100 calories? Definitely a win.
And Sam's gas is always the cheapest.

Sam’s family here. Only place to buy trash bags. We are still on the cheapest rice available. My favorite buy at Sam’s is the Southwest Salad for less than $3.

Sam's chicken all the way. The last two times i bought the chicken at Costco the meat was pink near the bones, no thank you. I also think they changed the seasoning as it did't taste the same at all.

Being a small household (Just me and my dog) I prefer Sam's over Costco. I like the smaller options on some of their items, especially the dairy section. There is no way I can go through 2 gallons of milk before they go bad. Yes, I know you can freeze milk but I personally don't like it after it has been frozen. Also can I just say the SPICE selection is far better than at Costco.

Thank you, Christine!Pecans! Sam's sells the best pecans. They are my favorite! We bought a Sam's Club yearly membership for $20 earlier this year (it includes both me and my husband!). Sam's also has grocery pick-up and lots of gift cards that aren't just food at a small discount.
We dound Pete's pancake recipe by googling it. Best ever. Threw in blueberries one time. Delicious. Froze a bunch too.

I did the same thing…bought the hefty trash bags over the member’s mark bc they were a little cheaper this time around. NEVER AGAIN! The Hefty bags aren’t nearly as strong as the MM ones. I was shocked! As soon as these are gone I’m back to the purple box!

I know not frugal but I have both. Love sams for scan and go, snacks and pantry staples. Costco for produce, meats, trash bags (are amazing) and their house brand shampoo
To answer your nut question, I prefer cashews for snacking and pecans for baking. I especially replace walnuts with pecans in any baking recipe I can because it tastes better every single time.

I just split a Costco membership with my adult daughter who lives in an area that does not have a Sam's Club. I was not impressed with Costco on the whole. They have more variety of home items - dishes, serving ware, sheets, towels, blankets etc. However, their frozen section was not as good for the things I purchase and I thought their prices were a lot higher. Their gas was cheaper than Sam's by 10 cents/gallon. However, the store was CRAZY busy very hard to "look" at the selections. I'm glad the membership only cost me $20 for the year!!!

Sams vs costco love it! I have a few products that are only sold at one of them so I did get a membership for both. But lately Sams has been the better bet for cheaper.

The Sam’s Club double layer cookie cake is delicious, and such a bargain. So good for gatherings. And I’m like you, I’m not in love with mass produced baked goods (except those Costco croissants!).
Yeah my daughter gets the salted caramels and is able to just have one now n again. Me? No…. I can’t have em in the house. I’d be sick as a dog if I did because my shut off valve is broken and I’d eat and eat and eat… 🤷♀️
