I've no joke watched every Queen - Liar reactions there is on youtube just to see John get acknowledged and the fact you noticed him singing with Freddie and his bass solo (very rare for Queen to have bass solos) is like hitting the jackpot to me so thank you for that
You do realize that John wasn't singing don't you.... Infact none of them were they were miming lol. But on the actual record, John wasn't singing. John never provided any vocals on any Queen recording, apart from some low end vocals on bohemian rhapsody. And very very rarely did he sing live, his mics were either turned down very low so that he couldn't be heard or they were completely switched off. There is only evidence of John's voice being heard and that was during the chorus of radio gaga at Live Aid
This was from their first album " Queen" and the song was released in 1974 . This is the early heavy Queen sound!! It's interesting that you mentioned John Deacon at the end , he really was the band's secret weapon and wrote a string of hits for the band , besides being a great bass player .. I think Freddie was very protective of John .This surprised me tonight , I wasn't expecting Queen!!! Great reaction and analysis as usual ... Thank You Mia!!!
HEY Mia, The LIVE VERSION of “Liar” at: THE RAINBOW IN 1974… IS. SOOO. FANTASTIC!!! …Freddie’s vocals and energy (and black satin jumpsuit) are OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. (The longer version, 8+ minutes, for the full guitar solo.)
I’m glad to see this performance live but this is actually the studio version. They were always MONSTERS in the studio and a whole different Monster on stage! Thanks for your reaction, love it!!!
Love this song live at the Rainbow!! Deaky’s bass playing is really highlighted here!! Written by Freddie speculated to be inspired by some experiences he had at Boarding School. 😞 Thank you!
Early Queen was so good, (and I was lucky enough to see them live in the early days -brilliant). Some tracks I'd love to see a reaction to include 'Teo Torriatte' 'You Take My Breath Away' 'Stone Cold Crazy' and '39' thanks in advance😉
I have to say Freddie Mercury has a great, unique voice!!! He was a very talented singer and stage presence…wow!! And Mia your reaction makes us(me) feel like we are watching the live performance 🙏🏻❤️☮️
I Agree w Every Word Michael ☺️ Well Said . & That’s Sweet Of You To Say , It Means A Lot Hearing That From You . Happy To Share My First Time Experience w Everyone 😊✨
Heard this playing in a record store when it was their newly released first album and took it home AFTER staying to hear the whole album. I think this was the first song on the second side. Lots of other great tracks.
I really enjoy the format of your reactions. (First time viewer.) It's enjoyable to watch your reaction and read your thoughts without stopping the video multiple times. And when you said, "I love Queen" I said, "Subscribe!"
I would definitely recommend In The Lap Of The Gods as it includes some of Rogers spectacular high notes or Seven Seas Of Rhye to hear some more of their earlier stuff! I love watching your queen reactions and hope you continue :D
I think " In The Lap Of The God's " revisited is great , but " In The Lap Of The God's " is my favourite because Roger's vocals are like a dog whistle as Freddie used to say Lol . So yes long story short ... I love your suggestion!!
@@DoIttMiaaaa The video you just reacted to is the live version from the Rainbow. It was so perfect that they superimposed the audio from the studio onto this video! Amazing!
In my opinion Queen's masterpiece album is "A Night at the Opera" (1975). It's a very eclectic mix of songs but if you listen to the album straight through it has a flow similar to a Rock Opera. If you like Queen, listening to that entire album is as essential as listening to Pink Floyd's "The Wall". 😎
You should try and give a listen to ‘See What a Fool I’ve Been’ Live in London at the Golders Green Hippodrome in 1973. This performance showcases Freddie’s prodigy voice, and an excellent band performance.
Love your reactions, and on a sidenote, I love your sweater😁 if you haven’t already reacted to it (I can’t remember you have?) I highly suggest reacting to white queen live at Hammersmith. It really showcases the bands musicianship, Freddie’s amazing vocals, and his piano skills. I totally agree with you, Early Quinn hits different, and white queen is probably my favorite from that era.
Thank You For 13.1K & Allowing Me To Share My First Time Experience w You All ♡ #DoIttMiaaaa

@@davebain1982 Yeah I know but when they performed liar live at the rainbow John did sing with Freddie but you can barely hear his voice
There are many Bass solos in the Queen catalog
Oh for God Sake, Deacy galloping on the bass it’s something out of planet earth…
And to think he was only 23 in this performance🤩

I think it was said somewhere that Freddie supported John a lot because he was extremely Introverted.
@@YukiiSahashi Yes I have heard something similar or along those lines .

I live for young Freddie and early Queen 😊♥️💥🔥❤️🔥🌹♥️
If it wasn't for Bohemian Rhapsody, Liar would be their best song ever.
Thank you, Mia!! 😊

This is from their first album. Probably the most notable song from that album is "Keep Yourself Alive".
I love watching yiung people enjoy Qyeen so much. Their music will be enjoyed for ever
Love Deaky singing with Freddie!
