    I stumbled upon your channel. Great info. Like the no-nonsense, straight-to-the-point approach. Appreciate it. Do you suggest doing a treatment with t bg epr and moa to a new engine after the first 5k or so miles to keep it running clean for a long time? Its a Nissan's new naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V-6 engine

    It's nice to see a vehicle from our neck of the woods...aka Snow country. Watching Ray's videos is fun but I shake my head every time we get under a car he's working on. But that's okay, he keeps getting mosquitoes biting his ankles. LOL Rich, with all the intense stuff you do with oil and oil additives, I'd listen to you and follow your advice X10 versus Scotty. You KNOW what you're talking about because YOU test it, you don't take people's word for it.

      Scotty did test this. He added the additive and ran for 15 minutes at 2000 RPMS. He then drained the oil and it looked grainy and dark. Personally, after draining, I'd have poured a quart of clean oil through the engine to get the rest of that out, but Scotty just replaced the filter and oil.

    I used this treatment last march 2022 to my wife's Honda Accord 2.4 GDI engine with 160000 miles. It was using a quart of oil about ever 1000 miles and getting worst. Added the stuff in the fuel gas tank also, cleaned the throttle body, mass flow sensor, added a catch can. The only thing I did different was after the 15 min. wash time I shut it off and didn't restart it until the next morning. Brought it up to temp and then drained the oil and filter. It ran rough at first but cleared up after a while, took it out on the hwy for a 20 mile run at different speeds. It uses about a half quart of oil now per oil change, about 7000 miles. It did use some oil right away but soon stop using oil after 2 weeks. Seem to have a very good luck with it, no problem with a clean engine now. Yes I would use this again! Thank you for doing oil test on the Valvoline High Mileage! Made a believer out of me!

    I used the ATS505 CRO, & it worked.! I first made sure that the engine & oil was very hot after a long drive.! I did not turn the engine off, & poured in the ATF505 CRO.! I let the car run for about 20 minutes at about 3000 rpm consistently, with a weight on the gas pedal, then i let it idle for another two or three minutes, then shut the engine down.! When i removed the oil filter, the o/ring was coated with carbon, which i had not observed prior, in earlier oil changes, & the oil was jet black.! I must add, that i change oil every four months, but saw a definite variance after using the ARS505CRO oil treatment.! I also used the ATF505 CRO gas treatment.!

    I been using valvoline in a farm truck I have in Mexico. Its a 2005 f150 4x4 5.4 3 valve. I live here in the States , I buy valvoline 5 30 synthetic high mileage with a motorcraft oil filter 820s. And I send it threw DHL gets there in 3 days. We have not had a issue with the truck engine. And we do the oil change every 4 thousand miles. I know I could go more but its not a big deal. Valvoline has worked for us and I wouldn’t trust anything else. I ship the oil and filter because over there just to go to autozone is like 2 hours away. Thats why I just buy it here and ship it to my ranch in Mexico. But yeah man. Valvoline all the way

    Dear Rich,
    You mentioned that you sprayed brake cleaner on top of the lifters. Three quick questions:
    1) Did you use non-chlorinated brake cleaner?
    2) Is it possible that any run-off of the brake cleaner had an adverse reaction to the chemical properties of the 505 CRO?
    3) What things would do differently to optimize an engine flush next time?
    Excellent Video. 🏆

    Another thing to remember, people will use clorinated cleaners to clean oil stains on driveways because it removes the oil but also bleaches the stains that cannot be removed. Its been reported that oil and filters are darker alot sooner after using this oil flush.

    Ever seen the inside of a diesel engine that had a small injection pump leak into the crankcase? They are usually very clean… go figure, diesel is a solvent, carbon is tough to dissolve but can be done, it takes time and several treatments. I prefer diesel with zink additives ran for 1000 miles or ATF for 250 miles when oil change is due.

    Your opinion on 505 CRO is biased and misguided for the following reasons, in my opinion:
    1. S.Kilmer is objective and does not take money for product reviews;
    2. The pitch of S.Kilmer’s voice shows he knows when hydrocarbon chemistry works and when it doesn’t.
    3. The frequency of S.Kilmer’s voice also creates shockwaves in the specific range that breaks down carbon deposits, cocked injectors, internal corrosion and loosens stuck bolts.
    4. S.Kilmer can see at least 900 feet beyond the future.

      I ran both CRO 505 oil and fuel treatments through 2 Hondas one with 135K 14' CR-V and another 07' Civic Si 273K. It was my understanding that the vehicle wasn't supposed to be driven in use. In both cars I ran engine RPM for 3500 RPM for 25 min. On the existing engine oil and replaced filter and oil. I think I noticed a difference? The Honda CR-V engine seems a little smoother. Then again the carbon buildup shouldn't be too bad in either engine as the oil is changed pretty regularly with both cars around 5K.In the CR-V I use Mobile 1 and in my 07 Civic Si I've been using Valvoline Max life high mileage 5w/30 synthetic blend since 100K and now at 273.5K. Great oil.

I believe the chemicals burning and being toxic is how it cleans the carbon in the manifold. I love your videos please keep it up.

  • @bosabarbosa1795
    @bosabarbosa1795 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Well, right away, I could tell WHY it didn't work... YOU did NOT use it proper way AT ALL!!!
    First of all, you MUST rev it to AT LEAST 2000rpm, for 2 reasons; first, increases oil pressure SIGNIFICANTLY, making sure oil is being pumped to every corner of that engine at high pressure, like a pressure washer. Second, revving at high rpm will get the engine and oil pretty HOT, melting all the dirty stuck in the engine, making it even easy for the high oil pressure to remove all the dirt!
    Also, using new motor oil like you did, ensures it does NOT do it's purpose... new oil = high viscosity = proper lubrication, therefore, keeps the product from working properly!
    You may wanna try it again when it is actually time for an oil change, and make sure to REV IT; GET THE ENGINE HOT🔥🔥🔥
