Early Briggs & Stratton A Through Z Engine lineup FJ1, FJ2, F Series

Here are just a few examples of the early alphabet series engines from Briggs & Stratton. Dates range from the early 20’s to the early 40’s. Each model may have one to as many as ten variations of one lettered model. These rarities belong to a well known collector in Illinois.

Years ago I had an early Briggs and Stratton with two flywheels, two overhead valves with two rocker arms, and the cylinder cooling fins were slanted about 45 degrees...Any Idea what model and year this might have been?...Thank you.
