    The sink in the bedroom is classic old Dutch housing. There used to be no showers, so people would have a sink in their bedroom. Removing it would mean altering the plumbing, which is a lot of work so that is why.
    Also the "fake" fireplace is just a closed up real fireplace, there is still a smoke column behind it.

    I really liked the way your apartment looks, where do you live Alina, and hows the rent there could you please give us some more info about these. Im about to come to amsterdam and I have no idea where to live. In my country apartments are huge comparing to amsterdam apartments. I just wanna find a cozy place that is modernized or renovated or built new.

    Thank you so much, Alina. I will be flying to Amsterdam on HSM Visa on 1st of January 2023 and join office from January 10th. Is it possible to book an accommodation remotely? Btw, your home is amazing.

    I just recently became a member of the Alina team☺️☺️ Excited for the upcoming content. I will be relocating to Amsterdam soon, what place would you advise to look at for accommodation around Eindhoven? I would really appreciate some opinions about the area.

    Alina, thanks for the helpful tips. My main question is on the amount of offers you can send at the same time? Say you did 2 viewings and wanted to maximize your chances of getting the apartment, can you make 2 offers at the same time? Because if I only can make one, and get rejected in few days time, the other one will most likely be gone at that point. What did you do in these situations?

    how much better are rates in non-touristy locations? Or in much smaller towns, i could never afford a place in a major city so im trying to figure out what lesser known places go for

    Is this place you filmed in Amsterdam? Seems modern and large. What's the price point and area? More out of the city Center ?

    Hi Alina! I am an spanish student who is dealing with the housing thing, how would you manage the viewings if I cannot actually go to see the flats/rooms? Is it impossible to get a flat without getting scammed without having to travel there?

    • @ciaoberry123
      @ciaoberry123 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would say it's pretty hard yes. I you didn't manage to get student housing via UvA/VU you might not get it at all unless you are really rich. Be prepared to maybe not get a house at all and widen your search to nearby cities.

    30 min to city center means you are not living in Amsterdam. Appartement in Amsterdam center start around 2000. Living in center is beautiful and really nice.

      Incorrect, if it's a smaller studio for a single person you can have furnished place in the center 1.5-1.6k
