Very helpful. These are actually new and different and useful. I actually have that selfie stick already. Do you find that on the tripod feet is stable enough? I also really like the headphones adapter as I've had audio issues in the past. Thanks again. -H
Thanks! Yeah, I’m trying to be myself in front of the camera but on the inside I’m terrified of speaking to the camera lol. Your comment made my day so much better! 🍻
@@ROAMitRALPH you are doing a great job. I love that you left the blooper in when the camera fell over. I got the DJI a few months ago and still haven't figure much of it out. I am going to watch your videos. Assuming you have a DJI Osmo2 tutorial? I am a total rookie but want to get good and teach my 10 year old granddaughter also.
It’s the Insta360 All Purpose tripod. It’s pretty nice because the legs extend too so it makes it even more stable. In hindsight, I probably should have talked more about that piece 🤦🏻♂️
Also, could you please share a link to the teleprompter app you are recommending for iPhone? Thank you for this super useful video. I am new to recording video and I am thinking of getting the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to start a TH-cam channel.
The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is awesome to start a channel, I've actually been using it more than my "main" cameras recently. Here's the link to the app... apps.apple.com/us/app/teleprompter-for-video/id1139307843
I read some reviews say when using a phone as the screen without wifi, the P3 will start to overheat within 30 minutes and shutdown. Have you experienced this? Is there a way to connect the P3 to the phones hotspot so maybe that could stop it from overheating?
Interesting, the last few videos I've done i had my phone screen on with the app and about 20 min in the camera would overheat. Now I can't say for sure that was the problem, where I live it was consistently 100 plus degrees. Maybe both those situations combined caused the issue.
Yea, according to others who use the phone as a screen it has to do with the P3 not having WiFi access. That’s why I’m wondering if the P3 is connected to the phones hotspot if it would have the overheating issue.
That’s interesting because actually did notice my P3 overheating. I thought it was just because of the summer heat we were having over here. Did you find out if there’s another way to connect the phone to the P3?
@@ROAMitRALPH I haven't been able to get an answer from anyone I've asked or seen it answered online. I'm ordering my soon, so I guess I'll have to test it out myself and see what works.

I don't have the Elgato Prompter. I'm sure it will work BUT I would be worried about it capturing the sides of the teleprompter because of how wide the Pocket shoots. Let me know if you find out though
@@ROAMitRALPH The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is selling like hot cakes. I would assume someone will come up with a teleprompter for it at some point. Many are using it as their main studio camera.
@@MrGheller I agree. I haven’t used it to replace my studio camera, but when I’m out, its replaced my Sony FX3. I also mostly record for TH-cam, so it could easily be my main studio camera if I wanted it to. But yeah, the Pocket is still hard to find on the shelves so hopefully more accessories will be coming out for it.
it would be good if you had a good clamp for that selfie stick to put at the base so you can see what the camera sees when you extend it out far. I have a clamp to screw up under the insta360 selfie stick but it broke because it's so cheaply made.
That power bank and adapter base are just the solution I needed! I hate how long the P3 gets with the extra battery handle + a quick release mount on the bottom of the battery handle.
That battery grip does make the Pocket 3 really long. Btw, there’s other power banks that are similar to the Anker I showed in here that do the work just as good. My friend prefers one without the flipping plug because it feels more solid to him. This one to be exact (sorry about the affiliate link)… amzn.to/3JATH2h

@@ROAMitRALPH Thank you, R. It seems like the body of the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 would be covering a part of the iPad Mini 6 screen... Do you think it will interrupt the script reading? 😕
@@MrGheller I’m pretty bad at reading scripts, so I know if I had used this setup with an iPad, it would mess me up unless I rehearsed the script numerous times. If your worried about breaking your pocket 3 a company called Scotty makes stuff has a awesome case that's very protective. It is big but will definitely help protect your camera .
I understand that. Luckily I haven’t had any issues yet. I’ve been using it on a third party base mount so I don’t ruin the original DJI one because of this actually. I figured if it breaks, it won’t cost too much to replace.
I like wasting money apparently also. Thanks for this video. The additional power bank looks very interesting but I don’t know if I really need it. I do have the other additional powerbank…but is that really only 950 milliamps? Wow. That is incredibly underpowered! Just having that one new one would last for an entire trip I’m betting. No need to even plug it in all of the time, just use it when power is getting low, right? Ok, I’m emitting buying signals there. Regarding that selfie stick, I have others so I think I’m good there. I already have that phone mount. You didn’t mention its biggest advantage…you can run DJI Mimo while filming, connected wirelessly to the phone. And THAT means that you can use the built in special effects like teeth whitening. Who could believe that? There are other “glamor” shot modes as well while using Mimo, plus other advantages, such as manipulating controls that aren’t even available through the small screen of the unit as well. Plus you can use the attachment as an adjustable “handle” at times. Anyway, very nice video, thanks again!
What mic was you using to snap those photos? That was cool
can we connect tripod and type c mic at same time is there any option ?

But that's standard on the DJI Pocket 3 - You don't need to buy an accessory for that,
Does the powerbank fast charges the battery handle/pocket 3?
Good tips, thanks. What is the tripod base you're using on the selfie stick that folds out flat like that? Most of them won't do that.

Will the phone mount you showed hold an iPad Mini 6 to be used as "teleprompter" with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3?
