PMC companies grew out of the War on Terror. The need for bodyguards for VIPs, private construction convoys, charity supply convoys, nuclear power plant guarding, even hostage rescue, outstripped the US and allies military capabilities, so former members just told the government if they needed something guarded, they would do it so long as they got paid a whole lot more. Some of them have some not so great reputations, and others are completely fine. But they are needed. There's a few companies that specialize in rescue operations for sex trafficking victims in countries the official government can't send troops into, like Mexico, and Colombia. PMCs can be a mixed bag, but despite what the show portrays them as, its a good thing we have them, because there's a reason they are around, and it's not black ops.
I'd go as far as saying that we need more of them.

Government then hires PMCs, mostly consisting of previously-discharged military personnel, to perform missions overseas and now pay them crazy amounts of money. Basically, they re-hire people they already paid to train but now have little-to-no control over. Military Industrial Complex at its finest.

Hey Normies!!! I have been watching your reactions to my favorite TV shows (GOT, WW). You guys do a great job with them. But I feel like you guys have made up your mind with this show that it's not gonna be great or something. It's clearly evident from the fact that you guys are just being too funny in intense scenes or overly critical of the show's writing rather than just have fun and get into it like you always do. It just spoils the mood. Even Chris was weird. Somehow i don't understand that. Just a honest feedback from a Normie Fan. I feel you can't get pulled into the show and you're looking at it from the pov of a critic, rather than a viewer. just my opinion... if the next episode doesn't pull you in so that you don't try to analyze who the villain is, maybe you should quit.
