Changing fuel filter on a 2007 Freightliner Columbia

I had one of these filters and never had a mess like this guy had he didn't know what he was doing these are the easiest ones to change and refill he should ask someone to do him how to do it tks

Looks like it doesn't need changed. I run that same filter , and the fuel should cover filter completely before its changed.

He didn’t remove remove the old middle rubber gasket and most likely didn’t realize that the filter comes with a new one and mounted both rubber gaskets together that’s why it was so messy and hard to close back up

All the teeth are broken off the fill cap . Apply Vaseline to the ( O ) rings and collar threads . Hand tighten plus two lines with wrench .
