Great Video. I wke up to minus 7 this am. Had to take the poodle out. She's a big poodle. 65 pounds. She gets ice balls inher webbed feet. Congratulations on 80 thousand. You guys have grown fast.

I was there last week for snow and never come 😢 but am also get a new reservation again to gatlinburg for this weekend with my family and kids waiting for snow so glad for you

Wow, a heated jacket! What will they think of next? (Glad you weren't a-salt-ed, btw!) Nice to have little to no crowds. We had about 3" accumulation and highs of 28° today. Thankfully, I headed south and out of the storm.
We didn't get as much as we thought we would get, we keep looking outside every commercial break of the football game on right now and still not much coming. We should have more coming in Friday!

Love the winter outfit. I like it when it snows a tad more. Not too much to be home bound though. It's so pretty. Of course, we don't get snow but once in a blue moon in the Florida Panhandle. Something about just watching the snow softly fall ☺️…..I could almost breathe in that cold mountain air!! Yes, I’m going to say Cades Cove, now that you have all that nice heated, waterproof gear you are ready to hike off the beaten path & get one of those big bucks on camera before they drop those antlers😯😬.
The warmer/waterproof gear can help keep me out longer to have a better chance to get footage of wildlife! Cades Cove is a place I would love to get into once it opens!
Is the overlook on the Gatlinburg bypass closed when the park is closed? I'd like to see Cades Cove with snow. ❄️
It was, you see me drive pass the bypass that had cones blocking the entrance in the video. I am keeping an eye on the roads as to when I can get into Cades Cove again!

There was more snow in Piegon Forge than Gatlinburg?
It was pretty similar. I spent the morning with Brie & the kids doing a bible study & relaxing so I didn't rush out. Started in Pigeon Forge & by the time I got to Gatlinburg temps had gotten up to about 35 so the snow had really slowed down.
The Smokeys are so beautiful! We have strongly considered moving back up north, but the snow and cold is a big change for us (we’re in Louisiana.)

Hi, I am planning a trip in mid March does anyone know if its normal to snow this month.
There could be some snow in March, but for the most part it occurs DEC-FEB.
I would love for the sound to work anyway it is beautiful I haven't been up there in about 12 years now my daddy always said that was God's country and he wasn't lieing them mountains will always have the memories and my heart. Great work jody&kristy
