India lack good veterinarians, i hope this condition will get improve in upcoming years.
And from my side i promise that i will become one of the best vet. In the world.
One of the main reason that india lacks good vet., is that people are more attracted towards mbbs than veterinary, and take veterinary as a secondary option, because veterinarians are paid less and are given less respect as compared to that of an mbbs doctor.
Condition of these poor ,speechless, innocent animals in India will not improve until respect is not given to this profession.

But the most sad part of India it lacks good veterinary education as in case of abroad I have known .My cousins one from India and other from UK both are veterinarian but the quality of knowledge is different ..I Fear that people might kill they own flesh and blood for money in future ..
@@hshs7420 shouldn't say vet docs are careless because just one doc wasn't good.. my condolences for your dog that's really sad.. but always blame only the person u interacted with on that matter instead of blaming every hardworking docs!

Here is a short story from which I get to know that veterinary is the best field for me:
Few months back I was at my grandparents house . I went for a walk and I saw a cow lying injured .no body was trying to help her. A dog was staring at cow .
I was like how can a person be so cruel . I literally got tears in my eyes and I was also so angry.
I have 4 dogs in my neighbours I just love to paly with them .
And I talk to animals when ever I saw one be it lizard or cow . People think I am weird and crazy . sometimes even I feel like I am weird .
But I don't care .most of my worries go away when I play with any animal. Yes veterinary is my first priority
From 3 years .
I am not scared of animals unless they attack.
I am a vegetarian and thought of eating non veg sometime but when I remember that I want to be a vet I was like I am okay with veg.
Love your spirit! Also, sadly being vegetarian is not enough...dairy cows have to go through worst hell in the dairy industry. Watch "dairy is scary" on youtube itself, and go vegan💚 also, do learn about what goes on in animal breeding industries and always adopt animals, never buy them💚💚✌
Yes you can do phd after DVM and after doing DVM you are officially surgeon and physician specifically in Pakistan
And phd is for those who want to take job as assistant profacer and profacer in veterinary colleges

It’s 4.5 years + 1 year internship = total 5.5 years and then if wanna do specialisation in any subject it require 2 year more for pg
Yeahh this year I was getting AIIMS Patna but I didn't join there as I want to do BVSc.
Now might be you ask why I appear in the counseling if I didn't want to take admission.
So, there is a short story in 2020 I got admission in Veterinary becoz I was not getting MBBS. So I prepared for neet and 2nd lockdown helped me to prepare more better. But till the NEET 2021 counseling started I completed my first year. And my interest in Veterinary increased. So, in this year I again took admission in BVSc in 1st year to start from the fresh note. Last year I started becoz I didn't get MBBS this year I started becoz I want to do Veterinary. And I appeared in the counseling just to show people everybody don't take Veterinary becoz they don't get MBBS. Some takes Veterinary becoz they want to.♥️😎

My first choice was not Veterinary. Infact I didn't knew anything about it but I can't see cruelty to any species because I think if Humans have right to leave than other species too. So I join this magnificent course which turned out to be more enthusiastic, fun and ultimately more interesting than MBBS . I am thankful that I am not in MBBS now after joining this course. I am a Second year student of Veterinary Science and am very much interested with this course. Just one loss of offline course in first year due to pandemic became the disadvantage ut overall its good. Thank you Di for guiding us and discussing my misconception in your video . Best of luck for the upcoming days. I can say for sure it won't be easy, the path is very difficicult, especially in these times of post corona, many things will change but stay focused. It is actually a good thing that you've your aim focussed... don't ever feel shy for asking questions, it will be so hard if you can't understand a concept and don't clear it away right then and there... increase the self study time, push your limits. Congratulations cause u have provided few misconceptions as well about Veterinary field in India from your TH-cam channel. First and foremost "Vet field is only about pet practice". You havent shown whats the state of village hospitals in India and never interviewed a Vet who has worked in village area for >20 years(majority of Vets in India work in villages only).

Hlo mam....i have scored 610 marks in NEET 2020 and i was getting MBBS seat in Punjab through the state quota....but i left my seat for the veterinary. I am currently pursuing BVSc and AH from INDIAN VETERINARY RESEARCH INSTITUTE....I WANT TO GIVE THIS CREDIT TO YOU MAM....i have seen many vedios of yours and then choosen my step and till now I am enjoying my journey.

You will get everything...money, fame, respect but you have to work in this field very passionately. 🙂🙂
With 573 marks you can get IVRI,gadvasu,pantnagar veterinary college or any other good government veterinary college.

But in the end- you are practicing medicine!
Its BVSc and AH, not Veterinary Medicine unless your are talking about MVSc in Veterinary Medicine (clinical or Preventive Medicine).

But by definition- the science or practice of the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease (in technical use often taken to exclude surgery) is called medicine. As professionals, doctors PRACTICE medicine. Yes, there are specializations, but you can't say that someone who does MVSc in Surgery and Radiology doesn't practice medicine. Scientific methodologies to carry out the diagnosis and treatment is MEDICINE. BVSc and AH is just the NAME OF THE DEGREE. For those who opt for clinical medicine courses and surgery, it's MEDICINE. And I do consider that our degree encompasses animal sciences too. Internationally, our degree is called DVM Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or BVetMed.

Hi mam...we have a 31 days pomeranian puppy ..he is having continuous itching along the ear lobules ,legs ,and near the genitals..no presence of mites and fleas,when he is scratching red flakes like thing comes from skin ,and otherwise he is eating and sleeping well .whenever he is awake he scratches those areas continously and crying ..iam very much worried can you please give a solution ...thank you
