The problem with thyroid ablation and unskilled doctors

It's not good enough... a lot of thyroid ablation providers do three things: 1. attend a course 2. buy a machine 3. start doing procedures
The major misconception here is the belief that being skilled at FNA automatically means a doctor will excel at thyroid ablation. This is not true🚫
To be proficient in thyroid ablation, a provider must be an expert in ultrasound and perform their initial procedures under supervision 👍
