I like the two tender-first shots of 45305 and 34053 at 2:30 and 2:56; very good sound there. 31806 looking good on the TPO too. You managed to find some good lighting for the shots at 4:45 and subsequently, particularly the going away shot of 34053. Nice closeup on the freight too, with the couplings clanging.
Fabulous video John!. Awesome low angled footage, great action shots!. Great to see other movie makers interpretation of this event. Nice work !. Regards, Nick
Excellent video. I especially like the sequence at Swithland with 31806 passing 777 in the loop. I should declare an interest because I was the fireman on Lamiel ;-) Could I ask a favour? Can I post a screen grab of Lamiel & 31806 on my Flickr site with full credit to yourself plus a link back to your TH-cam post?
John Edkins That's true. I've lately been looking at the AX1's little brother the PXW-X70 as it has the 1-inch sensor that should help in poor lighting. Louis

Excellent coverage of the Gala John....looked as though there were plenty of visitors to the event...Best wishes...Bob
Great event the GCR put on, pleased you had some sunshine as well John.
Fine coverage of the event John. Saturday was certainly the best day to attend & great to have some decent weather about as well.
Excellent video John, enjoyed the scenes around Swithland and it makes for a pleasant change to see some shots on the section up to Leicester North.

Extremely good video, and incredibly crisp at 4k. Would you mind me asking what cameras and mics you use?
John Edkins Hi there, thanks for getting back to me. The AX1 seems like an incredible camera, especially for its small sensor size.
