I love them all in their own way, so much so I got bored and decided to write in my notes how they all feel to me. Part I sounds like a fight to the death. It sounds dramatic and brutal like the boss is constantly spouting "This is the end, I'm going to kill you." There is a part in the middle to the end where the drums take a back seat and the synth starts going crazy with the somber Ignorance motif in the back. The part sounds desperate like you and the boss are both at ends, trading blows back and forth, trying to desperately finish the other before succumbing to your own injuries. Part II sounds a lot more "laid-back" in contrast. Starting off a laid back beat and an atonal melody in the back, progressing to a keyboard playing a "groovy" tune that sounds less serious in comparison to the previous part. In the middle it has a similar situation to the previous song where the tone shifts, but instead of the song becoming desperate, it sounds more uplifting and energetic, sounding like you and the boss both powered up, leading the fight to be more exciting for the both of you. I would imagine the boss still trying to kill you, but he's trying to have fun doing it, gaining respect for you. Part III sounds the least like a boss fight (duh, it's not one) and out of all of the themes it uses the Ignorance motif the motif. If describing this song like the rest of them, so like a boss theme, I only have one word that conveys the feeling of this song. Finality. It feels like a boss that is on its last legs, but will still go all out, just one last time. I feel like you've known this boss for years and you notice his movements have gotten slower, but they hit just as they used to. With the middle climax echoing the Ignorance motif for the rest of the song it truly feels like a match between two strong opponents, not a match built off spite, but mutual appreciation of the other, a match not ending in tragedy but glory.
Great job on this soundtrack dude! You gained me and probably a ton of other people as a fan, currently learning Tlaloclan and it's such a mindf*ck haha
When I first heard this the night the dlc dropped I genuinely cried it was so beautiful, Chris is not only an amazing musician I believe he’s one of the best guitar composers of all time
deadass when i first heard this song in game, i had to pause what i had on in the background just to LISTEN to the riff. it goes so insane
I love how split the love for each part is in the community. Fuck the horoscope which part of Om Mani Padme Hum makes you transcend?

@@funnythingunleashed So glad you liked these ones! Yeah it's like a maze!
Ok but why isn't anyone talking about the JAZZ KEYBOARD SOLO HELLO FENDER RHODES NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN
This is such a shredding solo using parts of "They Might as Well Be Dead" and "Surface Tension". Chris remains a modern leader in VGM
When I first heard this the night the dlc dropped I genuinely cried it was so beautiful, Chris is not only an amazing musician I believe he’s one of the best guitar composers of all time
They might as well be dead has suspiciously been absent after this drop.
"they might as well be dead" might as well be dead
End of Part I is where it's REALLY at tho.
The unmatched fury of the storm
@@KeshOwlkthe unmatched power of the death laser
It's like a super powerfull lazer gun cooling down after destroying a world
My god the first few note of the solo are just hmmm
It reminds me of Bigger Ukulele a bit at the end with the slower additional guitar. I love it.
Best song of the album, without a doubt
Its just so endless... Its just... So... PEAK!
It’s only stage 3 can’t go that ha-
Innacurate it wasn’t the whole song (real though this is the best part)
amazing
GOD I wish I could listen to this in game but idunwanna get the dlc
If you have a friend who has the DLC you can still play it btw ;) They just have to be the one hosting the game
