You are absolutely correct. This is what I had experienced with my former husband. It did escalate. One month prior to our divorce, he attempted to strangle me to death.
It was horrifying. My mother, whom I loved very much and had passed two years prior, came to me in a near death experience. I never wanted my mom to see me in this manner nor did i wish to see her prior to my passing. Yet there she was.
I warn women in my various Facebook support groups on a regular basis. The most dangerous time in a person's life when she or he is attempting to leave the relationship with a predator.
Please read and share the book, The Gift of Fear, by Gavin de Becker.

When I was 18 this divorce guy with one child wanted to date me. I ran like heck. I was not about to get involved with a man and just divorced at my age and be a stepmom. Sorry Nicole, you were very beautiful and could have dated anyone.

I watched the special on lifetime on Sunday June 3rd. There were a lot of COMMERCIALS. It was really hard to watch this as important as it was about Nichole Brown Simpson. What I seen was really terrible. The sisters did a fine job of telling her story. This was really hard for them since they cried a lot. Thank you sisters of Nichole for what truly happen to her. God Bless you Denise, Dominique, and Tanya may God be with all of you!

Am confused, in one interview. Denise stated Nicole asked her to fly down and take the picture when OJ hit her. In this interview she states that she found the picture in the draw and Nicole stated it was a make up artist.

very sad but i think they're in denial about the abuse of Nicole, the sisters were in their 30s with kids still living at home with mommy and daddy, the creep was supporting them all even go as far as buying Nicole's father a hertz car business, The creep would confide to Nicole's mother about their fights, and she sided with him, when Nicole left him they family never supported her emotionally that's why towards the end Nicole did not tell them anything about her single life her friends knew more and she opened up towards the end of her life to them. she was terrified about being killed.
BTW the amount of plastic surgery they had is appalling to look at one looks like they face is caved in and the other two look like putty filled. no shame of aging gracefully these days.

According to Nicole's own diaries, O.J. was beating her long before they were married yet, she still chose to become his wife. Ronald Goldman is the real victim in all of this.
She was also met OJ while he was married and continued to date him after learning that he was married and his wife was pregnant with their third child. Why are people giving so much respect to a gold digging home wrecker?
He was called by a random person about the glasses, nobody from Nicole's family, it was a set up to have him there, OJ saw the bathtub filled and candles everywhere and lost it even more so and that why he killed Ron!!
