My brother and I rode a large part of this trail last October and loved it. We also grew up in the area and there are so many great dirt road routes around there.

Hello. Yes Quebec is awesome province for cycling! I have been doing some research on Quebec dirt roads lately and it does look like the possibilities are endless. I will be back in Quebec as much as I can going forward. Thanks so much for watching! Safe travels. Cheers

Nice video. I rode up the same trail a few days before you or after you - not sure exactly when you went. That rough spot by Kazabazua - where you decided to go back to the 105, I turned the other way and took the roads parallel to the trail for about 5 km - that's where the pavement began (I was luck enough to run across some workers on the rough part who told me how far it was). I also camped at Carpe Diem at Big Blue Sea - some crazy up and don getting to the campsite from the trail. The Veloroute du Draveurs is great, though - can't wait until when (or if) it's connected all the way to Ottawa. (After going north to La Verendrye I came back down along the P'tit Train du Nord, so I'm looking forward to your videos of that as well).

"Is your bike electric?" is the common comment these days. In years long gone the comment to older riders often was "How much longer do you think you will be able to keep riding?"..... or even as one family friend once commented to my wife after I took a fall about 15 years ago "So now it will be the time when he stops riding bicycles?" 🤣🙃🙄
