Thank you and thank you for the tape recommendations! Is the ATG Gun worth the spend? It is quite a bit pricier here than in the states, but I have been considering getting one...
I'm having TH-cam issues...LOL Anyway, yes, definitely get an ATG Gun. I got mine at Michael's. It was $40 and I used a 40% off coupon. The tape is super sticky--unlike snail. I also use the coupon to restock on tape. HTH thanks again for your tutorials--LOVE them!
Sorry, I'm having a hard time replying through TH-cam--I hope you see this! Anyway, YES the ATG Gun is so worth it. It actually holds unlike the snail tape. I couldn't recommend it enough. Also, it is really economical compared to snail and other tapes. I believe they run about $40, but I used a 40% off coupon at Michael's or Hobby Lobby. I also use those coupons to stock up on refills. HTH. Thanks again for the wonderful tutorials. I just love them and you explain them so well and make it easy to understand and follow!
No worries! I think the new comment system is still having a few challenges, though I do like it better than the old one! I will have to see if my Mom will pick one up for me at Michael's and I'll bring it back with me next time I visit the states, good idea to use the 40% off coupon! No worries! Thank you very much!
Hi, tried out this ornament, it's easy. I have a question though, the individual squares are perfect; when putting together there's a little gap. What could be the mistake? Thanks
Hi Meera! It is very likely that you haven't made a mistake, particularly if you are using perfect squares. Without being able to see your ornament in person, I can only guess what might be happening, though I have had gaps happen due to the weight of the paper being used to make the squares. The thicker the paper, the more paper will be taken up into the fold, making the final dimensions very slightly smaller than they would have been with lighter weight paper, therefore creating slight gaps. There is a link to my facebook page in the description, you are welcome to private message me a photo of your finished project if you are finding that the gaps are not being caused by the weight of your paper. By seeing your finished project, I may be able to help further. No worries!
In the states on amazon I can get scortape which is thicker than the adhesive runners but has a good bond. There’s also ATG tape but I’ve found it very difficult to use without the “gun” or machine than lays it down correctly and which you have to buy separately and seems costly unless a person is buying them for business reasons 🤑. I use a tombow adhesive runner (permanent) and that works well on standard scrapbook or cardstock. Atleast that’s my take🙃! Thanks for the video!! Just the right time of year for it!
Thanks for sharing your Christmas ornament crafts
Love this idea! Thanks so much! I'm in the U.S. and I've used Sticky Strip, Scor-Tape, and the tape in my ATG Gun works too.
