This is magnificent. I would suggest taking inspiration from DeepL and allow the translator to open automatically via shortcut once the text is selected. In the case of DeepL it is cmd + C + C . The text is automatically entered into the translator and translated on the fly
Que legal que você é brasileiro! Eu pensava que era português. Será que um dia teremos precificação regional pra assinatura ficar menos pesada pra gente?
Very nice! But to be a really replacement of my current translator, I think it shouldn't be necessary to "paste" the content of the clipboard, it should translate it directly when I run the "Raycast translate" command. I mean: I copy a text to the clipboard, open the Raycast translator, and I see the translation there without manually paste it. What do you think?
Actually, the Translator uses an API built for that specific purpose, so you might get a different output sometimes. That's a nice use of AI Commands, though! 🧠
This Pedro has a nice vibe.

That's something we're working on! Keep an eye on our future updates 😊
@@raycastapp I wonder what's the progress of translate selected text 🙏🏻?
Quer dizer que RayCast é BRASIL??? Meu Deus que orgulho! :-)

Tinha certeza 🙂↕️
Good tip. Besides, I would like to recommend Immersive Translate for you. Trust me, it is really useful.

ótima sugestão, enviei um email sobre esse assunto pra eles essa semana, no dia que fizerem isso eu assino no mesmo instante

Thanks for your suggestion! I'm gonna share it with the team 👥
Yes I also missed it - especially because there are other commands that do this already.
Agreed - the closer you can get to "just click the text on screen that you want to translate once to immediately translate it", the better
i was like, wait, thats just three languages =D=D=D
What service is used for translations under the hood? How trustful is the final translation?
We need a 3-way translator.
I know this is a different feature being demoed but I want the improved notes that was shown in a video recently. Next release 🤞
Excellent 👍
Bom demais ver brasileiros fazendo um trabalho tão incrível
I've got an AI command that can instantly translate any selection I have, without having to copy. 😎 Is that using the same translation API?

@@raycastapp I think it was one of the examples in your AI docs! 😄 Cool good to know, I'll have to compare
Same here. I was using an AI commands. I have to check this specific translator command
