Thank you for posting this waltz on TH-cam. I need to listen to you while relearning it. Many many years ago before leaving Vietnam for college in the US, it was my last piece learned at the conservatory in Saigon. While in college (chemical engineering) I kept practicing it and kept it as one favorite piece of my repertoire. Later I played for and completely impressed my prospective mate! That was my most memorable feelings about this piece. I’ve been married to the guy I impressed for 31 years now. During the years of working and raising family I didn’t keep up with piano hardly. Now that I’m retired almost all duties, I’m picking up piano again. Since last time you showed us this performance, I wanted to relearn it and have been working on it (plus a couple others) everyday. I’m so glad to see you posted it. I love how you have inspired me so much and can’t thank you enough. 🥰

안녕하세요! 😃 백만 번의 상상 책 읽고 들어온 한 13살 어린이 입니다! 오늘 "백만 번의 상상" 이라는 책을 읽었습니다. 어떻게 말 하나하나가 그리 이쁜지 감동 스러웠습니다. 여러가지 악기중 피아노를 전공 하고 있는 입장에서 이 영상을 보고 입이 딱 벌어지더라고요!😀 김지윤님의 연주는 잔잔한 물길을 스스로 걷는 느낌이 나요. 추억 회상하는 느낌도 있고요. 특히 여리게하는 부분이 너무 좋더라고요. 또 책을 읽고 김지윤님의 과거 얘기를 읽어보니 음악이 더 재미있게 들리는 것같아요. 글도 잘 쓰시고 피아노도 잘 치셔서 너무나도 존경한답니다!ㅎㅎ 좋은 음악 감사합니다!
아이고, 너무 고마워요! 저도 13살인 때가 있었는데, 그때는 마냥 그냥 피아노가 좋았던 것 같아요. 지금도 그렇지만… 앞으로 가는 길에 어려운 일이 있어도 피아노를 사랑한다면 절대 멈추지말아요! 화이팅!
저 어릴적 그 여자 인가라는 mbc드라마 삽입곡이었어요 그래서 엄청 열심히 쳤었어요...참 좋습니다...악보를 볼 줄 몰라도 느낄 수 있는것 ...참 놀라운 신비한 감동..

This happens to be one of my favorite Chopin Waltzes. Thanks for sharing with us 😊 - I am currently working on three pieces of totally different character; one of them a lesser known Chopin Waltz (Op 34 # 3). That waltz is technically simple, however has some changes in character and color that I find really cool to work on.- The Reger intermezzo is finally taking shape after several months of *problem solving* and will be available on my Insta soon. I choose that one because it is so dramatic. And I continue on with Reger's "Reveries by the fireplace" which I recommend to anyone, they are just lovely, although also challenging.
Andres, How great to hear you are also working on Chopin Waltz as well. I don't know Reger Intermezzo nor Reveries by the fireplace, but I shall take a look!
Thank you for tickling our ears with Chopin. I love how he moves the melody around in his pieces. You reminded me of a Scarlatti sonata that made an impression on me(K.27 in B minor) I finally got around to practicing it and am enjoying the process of it coming together. I got curious after hearing such a nice melody in a minor key.

It's interesting, that much pieces in our mind are connected with special moment of our lives. By plaxing a piece, sometimes a situation or a person apeares in my brain. It always helps me to find the right emotion to perform it.
Hello Andreas, I didn't pay all 3 pieces of this opus yet, but I shall take a look!
@@jeeyoonkimpianist Yes, do so and think them as one piece. You can goe dirketly from the first in the second, it's the same key but minor. The third one is the Dominante (I don't know the english terms), you can goe in quite soon, it has a very sad passage in C-major. All three leed you from heaven to earth or from earth to heaven, as you want.
