Wonderful performance, and so well recorded and filmed. Since becoming a convert to classical music about three-and-a-half years ago, I'm struck by how - in the case of performances like this - it's a visual as well as an audial experience. The interactions between soloist and orchestra, the expressions of concentration on their faces, the harmony in their movements: all combine to create a spectacle as mesmerising as a film! I wonder if a pianist's brain has ever been scientifically analysed during a performance. Given the dexterity of each hand as it plays its individual part, is one part of the brain responsible for both, or are there two parts working in conjunction with each other?
Admirable Mozart !
I think Mozarts' finest piano concerto, which is saying something; it's intimate and at the same time symphonic in its size and scope and only Mozart could have composed the slow central movement which begins like a childrens' nursery rime.
I love Mozart and his music, he's the greatest composer; thanks to London Mozart Players for sharing this magnificent interpretation!
This piano concerto has such a cool mystical quality to it
One of the greatest pieces of the greatest composer forever.

It just doesn't get any better!
Bartlett so young and mature!
My God this is beautiful.

So beautiful
Marvelous interpreted.

Very nice!
First movement is like waking up soldiers, second like putting little children to sleep. The third is like leading an army in a battlefield.
....... terrific 🇧🇷👍.
Bravo!!!
I'm a big fan of LMP.. this channel should get more subs!!
You are right !!
Superbe. Bravo.
Thank you!
Straordinario questo giovane pianista. Farà molta strada.
Larghetto: 15:11
merveilleusement musical. la musique respire vraiment.
Beethoven could go to this concert in Vienna and supposedly he did say "we never could made something better than this one"❤
Very beautiful cadenza, very well composed. By whom? Is it in print?
Cadenza by Hummel.
26:30 clarinets
At 14:15 you omitted some notes, comparing to the longer version I have on a disc from the 90s.
Ads come in the middle of a movement!
there's no conductor ???
Mooie, rustige, ingetogen uitvoering.
An excellent performance indeed. Nothing objectionable at all. (Just a little wayward in his cadenza's for my taste)
pretty good,pianist -much feelings,just a bid too slow,lazy
So what???
Pianist is annoying.
He's great. With this concerto you either take great chances with interpretation or you put people to sleep.
I agree. I couldn't watch, too theatrical for my liking, although a superb pianist. Give me Vladimir Horowitz to watch any day.
