This job forces you into a trap that a lot of freelance workers face: being paid less because you're fast. When you hit "submit" on a task, there's no guarantee that you get another task at the same pay level, so of course inflating your time is extremely tempting. This means that if everyone is working on the same high-paying task and trying to do so quickly, they're robbing themselves. But I suppose this is the future of work: piecemeal tasks, no guarantees, no benefits, and high-competition.
It depends on how long it has been, if it’s been over two weeks and you haven’t got any tasks on your dashboard, and never received an acceptance email, then it’s unlikely you passed.
Did you have a review about a month in, when you had no tasks for a few days or a week or so? It _is_ mentioned in the onboarding (or somewhere) that this will happen. And were you notified that this was happening or when it had happened? - Thanks.
I’m not aware of having any review, but it I have heard about people having them. As far as I’m aware they don’t let you know, unless there is issues with your work that they want you to improve on. Apparently you do lose access to tasks though whilst it occurs, so this may explain why you currently have no tasks.
I thought i stopped getting tasks because of the country I'm working from...and when the tasks used to come, it was usually in the early parts of the month. Not gonna lie, i miss it
I'm a stay-at-home mom of three kids ages 5 and under. I really need to make extra money, but I'm concerned about being able to focus on the projects with consistent time. What is the best way to go about this when I don't really know how it works before I start?
I would just have a timer running in another tab, so you can easily pause the timer whenever you get distracted and restart it again when you can continue working. That way you will still be reporting your honest, actual time worked.
You can have access to multiple different projects, and can work on any of them as and when you please, however working on multiple at the exact same time is not allowed, for example you can’t have two projects open in different tabs and charge twice for the time spent on them.
That’s more in reference to working on two projects at the exact same time, as in having one open in one window and another in another window, to double up on time logged, if that makes sense?
I've only got the coding assessment available to me, do you think I should delete my account and start a new one in order to receive the core assessment? I messaged support but havent heard back yet
In my opinion the skills needed to be successful on the site are good attention to detail, being able to compare two similar things and decide which is better based on instructions you have been given, strong English reading and writing skills, and re-reading your answers to check for errors before submitting your work.
Has your dashboard ever displayed the following message? Does this mean I have lost my eligibility? Thank you. At the moment, there aren't any projects available for you to work on. Please check back soon and watch out for new project notifications sent to your email.
I get some new tasks every now and again and I try hard to do them well, but they go away in a day or two. Since they do not speak, it is impossible to know the criteria and I pay close attention to the instructions.
Ahaha, all you can do is put in consistently good work when you do have tasks available, and hopefully access to more projects should follow, but it may take time.
I believe it is possible, however, that early on it could also just be a review. Reviews seem to last around a week and you may not have access to tasks during this time, from what I understand.
Not all projects have a slack chat, but if you get added to a project that does, then you should get invited to the projects slack chat, as far as I’m aware.

yes. this is good advice. I read the instructions 3 or 4 times
I have the "no projects available" screen and never received anything after the assessment. Did I fail?

Thanks for the great tips! How long did it take you to make the 10k?
Thank you! About 9 to 10 months alongside a full time job, but it could definitely be done quicker.

@@WormsWorld23 Okay, thanks for the info. My fingers are crossed.
As for them potentially not being around long, they _do_ still seem to be advertising. Saw them in my Google Feed on my Pixel.

Is looking through slack trying to understand what to do reportable time in your opinion?
I believe it is, however I would try to be mindful of how long you spend as you don’t want to take advantage of it.
you could take multiple tasks at the time ?

Question: you said to take lower paying projects too, but don’t they emphasize only working on one project at a time? Am I misunderstanding that?

I will be releasing a video in the coming days, going into detail on how to get the non-coding starter assessment.
I took the assessment like a month ago and have not heard anything back not an email nothing should I reapply?
It sounds like you have failed the assessment unfortunately.
what if i use AI to correct my spelling in my foreign language?
I'm thinking of registering, but
what skills and experience would I need for the task to be completed?
Great video. I appreciate the tips and help.

My dashboard been looking like that for months now😭😭, i didn't even mind that the tasks came just in the early parts of the month.
I miss em

I did my first project yesterday which was about responses, today I have login to continue but I can't see the project, help
It’s normal for projects get taken down and put back up, it will hopefully be back for you soon.
Thank you are you working with dataannotation
Only as a contractor completing the tasks on the site.
@@WormsWorld23 that is very true kindly share your email so we talk business
How beginner friendly is this?
You don’t need any experience with AI to work on the site, and instructions are provided for each of the projects to help you.
how do we get into slack?
The slacks are only for some of the projects, so you would get invited to one if you are working on the project for it.
How to get into slack?
Only certain projects on the site have slack groups, you get invited to the slack group for a project once you gain access to the project.

Hey, sorry my review is that those projects are being done by many people simultaneously. Try to do a qualifying test when they appear on your screen
@@mikek4019 Thanks for the advice. My page is so full at this point that I have to scroll to see all the tasks. :)
Is grammarly considered as an Ai
yes

Have you seen anyone get kicked as early as 6 weeks after getting approved for the platform?

you wont get punished for taking longer than normal on tasks. All DAT cares about is that you do the work correctly.
Ok, does this mean, if a task expires within an hour, I can take and log an hour for it?
Don’t you have to be invited to the slack chat?
Not all projects have a slack chat, but if you get added to a project that does, then you should get invited to the projects slack chat, as far as I’m aware.
