    If you want to fix the "cold natured" start up issue get you a fcr carb. Mine now starts with choke any temp first try. Its all the factory round slide carb causing that issue. Good explaination of how the charging system should work and testing it. Also the factory service manual shows you all your cable routing for future reference. Its in the front couple pages. There were alot of them that had to go in weird routing i thought compared to what my brain was saying made sense.

      I’ve always thought about switching to the FCR but other than the cold starts, the carb is pretty dialed and I hate jetting lol. Maybe later this summer, I can grab one and tinker with it. I’ll definitely look into it.

      @@TylerMcNabb137 youtube blocked my last reply for no reason. So lets see if this one can maybe go through. If you need any help with the fcr mod i will be glad to give you advice. Jetting it is a pain but worth it in the long run. Its on my top 5 favorite mods i did to mine. Take your throttle response now and double it. It revs like a sportbike. Also the power delivery is alot smoother. Keep up the good content man!

      Thanks for the suggestion, I had that idea in the back of my mind. We’re supposed to get some rain before round 2 so that may be a video I’m making this weekend lol

    What brand is your sprocket guard and rotor guard

    • @TylerMcNabb137
      @TylerMcNabb137  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The sprocket guard is a CV4 gator guard, unfortunately they don’t make them anymore. The rotor guard is a Hess Motorsports rotor guard for a 450r. I did a 450r rear caliper swap on my rear end and used the rotor guard for the 450 as well. There’s a video on my channel all about it if you want to check out the details on it.
