If you consider that misogynistic and reductive you clearly don’t understand the meaning of either word. It’s a play on words, and a compliment from one of the greatest multi-instrument musicians of all time to a peer. I’m sorry this was lost on you.
One of my all time favourites not only by Dave Stewart but in the entire music history. Thank you so much for this video!

I don't usually like instrumentals but this is the exception. Love it!
Candy & Dave. AMAZING. This track will never get bored. At the same time, pleasant memories come to mind. Oh, what a wonderful performance. Timeless. I also watched the movie "Lily Was here" - great. Candy, You and Your Saxophone Are the Past and the Future ❤⚘🎷
One of my favorites, the feelings flow from the instruments. A story without words... yet we all understand.
Thanks for your likes and comments on my TH-cam channel, hope you don’t stop showing your love and support towards my Music. ❤️
To my knowledge this song is about their baby who died
Agreed. Two instruments having a conversation at a corner table.

I heared this song and didn't knew how it's called. I typed "saxophone guitar song" on the search bar without having the smallest hope I'll ever find it. The first song that appeared was the right one. TH-cam is amazing.
ok
I got lucky. There was a sax player doing the best sax parts in pop, and this was one. Finally had a title to search for!
Wonderful 👍🏻🇬🇪
Sometimes, music can express how you feel and what you are going through better than words can.

One of the best ballads of all time. Candy and David are doing really great here.
My pops used to play this, Norman Brown, etc every time our family used to drive out of town. Whether the trip took 4 hours or 14......we didn't complain at all riding to this dope ass shit as kids. lol Shout out to Pops, love you sir💪🏾🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯

Oh dear i'm trapped, I can't get out, absolutely hooked on this.
Same thing darling! I want a lounge-bar like this, with this song to open and close by. Female Sax and Male Guitarist to play this song for cash prize.. ($500 to $1,000) just saying...
This isnt trap , this is an path :)
Yes I agree
Only problem is this song needs to be twice its length.
Very emotive & thought provoking & not a lyricists word to be heard...
That's the shear power & grace of an amazing instrumental track...

Simply put...it gives me chills. The emotion in her notes.OMG......
You can literally count the number of instrumentals that became hits in the 90s on one hand. This masterpiece is a unicorn.
No, you can't.
@@dirkbag22 I guess that depends on how you define "hits." I defined as any song that hit the American Top 40 Pop Charts.
I counted EXACTLY 5 instrumentals in the 90s that fit that criteria. Now, is it possible I miscounted and there might be 6? I guess. Still, they are very few and far between.
By way of example to demonstrate my point, in 1975 ALONE there were 11 instrumentals to fit that bill.
Man... I grew up with instrumental singles (all time fave: Walter Murphy's A Fifth of Beethoven). I miss them a lot.
