Ideally, last one year of Current Affairs from the date of exam. But it can be changed.

സാർ എനിക്ക് താല്പര്യം ഉണ്ട് ബേസിക് എവിടന്ന് തുടങ്ങണം? എന്നു അറിയില്ല.കോച്ചിംഗ് ചേരാനുള്ള സാഹചര്യമില്ല. Govt കോച്ചിംഗ് സെന്റർ tvpm എവിടെ ഉണ്ട്? ഒന്നും അറിയില്ല.എങ്ങനെ ചേരും? ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ തരാൻ ആരുമില്ല. വലിയ ആഗ്രഹമാണ്. സെൽഫ് സ്റ്റഡി എങ്ങനെ തുടങ്ങും അറിയില്ല.
First take syllabus and understand it very well.
After the understanding start news paper reading and ncert books like history, geography, polity, economics...etc with respect to syllabus
And take last 10 years complete civil service question papers , try to solve and concentrate topics
After familiarisation of syllabus, question paper, ncert books you can start standard books
And one thing victory in upsc is , study, revise, practice

Hey Nandana. I am also a class 10 student. So yeah, I am not an expert or something like that😅Just sharing what I know.
Both the Hindu and the Indian express are great newspapers. But still, why do these doubts arise?
I guess it's because most UPSC toppers say that they have read The Hindu and not the Indian express. And it was mainly because, it's practically impossible to read both these newspapers every single day. (There can be other reasons as well)
So, they had to prefer one. And they chose 'The Hindu'. But, does that mean 'The Indian express' is a bad Newspaper? Does that mean, there is a problem if we prefer Indian express over the hindu?
Both these newspapers cover all important current affairs. So, what's the problem?? And also, have you heard about Junaid Ahmed Sir? He read The Indian express only and he secured AIR 3. Watch this video: th-cam.com/video/N6y1yjzIgNg/w-d-xo.html
So understand that, Both The Hindu and the Indian express are great newspapers and you can read any one from these. It's all your personal preference.
Afterall, UPSC is not going to ask 'which newspaper you read?'. So, read the newspaper which is more understandable to you and gives you a good idea about the news. If that is Indian express, Read it daily. No problem with it!

@@nandanaraghu3931 Well, I have attended some free webinars by some officers and UPSC toppers and also watched alot of topper talks as well.... (Mainly during 2020)
And I wish to write civil services examination as well...
But still, I am not sure about it...
