From my least experience , If you really dedicated to IAS you better go for BA. Sociology because, You can study Indian arts and culture, Polity , History etc already included in BA.Soc so that it's easy to reach Civil Services. And one important thing is sub like History never gonna change like science it's already happened. 🙂 Try to build micro habits of study that will help you a lot. Wish you all the best

Sir,My aim is to be a IAS officer, now I am studying in plus two science,after that i would like to take a degree in any social subjects..so will you plz say that !which is the best degree that i want to choose?
From my least experience , If you really dedicated to IAS you better go for BA. Sociology because, You can study Indian arts and culture, Polity , History etc already included in BA.Soc so that it's easy to reach Civil Services.
And one important thing is sub like History never gonna change like science it's already happened. 🙂
Try to build micro habits of study that will help you a lot. Wish you all the best

@Onyx Everything thank you, so much for clearinv that up, but i feel like am not confident in my ability to even do this exam, i want to Clear it, but deep down i know i can only study just max 3 hours a day never more, So i was just thinking if sociology would be an ideal subject for other future jobs,Can u you pls help me on what i should do?
@@sarangt4448 For BA.Sociology graduates can move forward to MSW(Master of social worker) I think MSW having vast opertunities in hospitality sector as psychiatrists and also PRO(Public relation officer) or else can be faculty also.
