Te Arai 60 Lot Lifestyle Subdivision and Golf Courses

The Te Arai South 60 lot lifestyle subdivision and two golf courses is the exciting second stage of the Te Arai Links development and is situated on a 460-hectare site with 5 kilometres of Pacific Ocean frontage, a 75 minutes’ drive or 15 minutes by helicopter north of Auckland.
The world-renowned Tara Iti golf course in the north of the site was designed by Tom Doak, in association with Darby Partners. Tara Iti is the number two golf course in US Golf Digest’s 2020 global ranking. The much-anticipated Te Arai Links South Course has been designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore and is now complete. Work on the Te Arai North course continues.
Cato Bolam is proud to have partnered with Darby Partners, Te Arai South Holdings and Te Arai Links to provide the engineering and surveying services to help deliver the Te Arai 60 ocean front lifestyle subdivision and the roading, earthworks and infrastructure design for the international golf courses.
The 60-lot rural residential subdivision included the vesting of 180 hectares of parkland to Auckland Council, 165 hectares of rehabilitation planting and 11.5 hectares of earthworks to establish the roading and accessways to service the lots.
The Te Arai Links golf course development included 157 hectares of earthworks and the design for car parks, accessways, new buildings and associated infrastructure.
Our land development engineering and survey team have been involved in this legacy project from resource consent to completion across four stages since 2018.
