Damn I love your content big homie Kai. Personally, I find the insignificance of our existence the most inspiring and uplifting thing imaginable, well, besides our endless creativity. Constantly thinking about it keeps one humble and grounded, and it helps me value those who value others. There are certain types of humans I have no sympathy, or even malice, towards, but besides those rare but extremely negative few, I get to appreciate everyone, more so after thinking about how amazing we can be once we start unifying. The potential of our species, and every other species, is what makes me the most excited. And to think that we are but a insignificant speck in the beautifully cold home that is the universe is so wonderful to me.
awesome video as always! and also i've really gotta go listen to that album -- your soundtracking has always been _excellent_ and i'm excited to get into it. i like a good bit of existentialism. often it's comforting to me to know that i'm not really particularly unique, for all the stuff that's happened to me or anyone else there are eight billion people and almost certainly several who have had almost identical experiences. i wish the existential dread caused people to... care about each other more, i guess? life's short. earth's a speck. why are we letting -- _causing_ people to die when we have so little time to do anything.
I'm glad you liked the video and music - hope you enjoy the album! I always find it fascinating the many different ways people can find comfort in nihilism.
You gave me a lot to think at midnight, thanks 😱 I leave you with this quote that I think goes well with the video. "The life of every individual, viewed as a whole and in general, and when only its most significant features are emphasized, is generally a tragedy; but gone through in detail it has the character of a comedy." - Arthur Schopenhauer
The beginning of the video reminds me of the word "sonder"(see the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows). It's the realization that the random person you just passed on the street has a life just as vivid and complex as your own.
This is such an interesting perspective. The argument about the compulsion to lie about moments that you're supposed to be amazed it really recontextualises Jeff Bezos' comments about his space journey to me. They were so textbook recited from the books of everything we've already heard a hundred times from astronauts and fighter pilots that it's genuinely more likely that he was just saying what he knew he's supposed to say than that that was his genuine experience. Which either means the experience made him feel nothing, or something bad, and I don't know which would be worse.
I haven't watched this video yet but the title already invokes feelings that I've had for a long time. With the vast expanse of the Universe and me being an Agnostic, i don't see a way complex life probably capable of wiping us out doesn't exist. In my eyes we as humans need to unify and colonize our galaxy and beyond and keep pushing for more and more territory. We need togetherness, we need global socialism. The enemy is not each other, but probably whatever lives out of our reach.
I feel people are more interested in TH-cam drama going on on Earth and not even acknowledging this planet is one of the quadrillions of worlds going through similar things in the timeline of the Universe

I love me some existential dread in the morning! Always excited to see what you have to say.
How else would you start your day?

That's really fascinating - wasn’t aware there was a specific word for this. Thanks!

I think it is interesting that even that whatever we do it dose not matter but we stil live and will live untill somthing else takes us out
i think you forgot to take into account Bezo's cowboy hat, who's wide brim obviously obscured the view of the window
Fuck, we gotta run it back then. Maybe round 2 will scare him enough.

Like the channel description says, I think too much.
literally me
I see us as a atom compared to everything
the way i see humanity and earth is that we’re bacteria on a grain of sand at a beach.
Hey :)
Whats the name of the song towards the end?
All the songs are from my album. You can find them listed in order in the description.
@@KaiAfterKai oh okay thanks :)
Somehow I assumed your Album was only instrumental. Don't know why tho.
🌈🧠👁️🙌✨👏🏽👏🏼
It's more so the fact that it doesn't exist, like men...
