8:04 Very curious to hear what happens with that guy considering his dad defrauded shareholders out of 2 years worth of an IndyCar seat (8ish million dollars)

It is started to look like it may be worthwhile "self-penalizing" yourself early in some races by pitting extremely early on purpose to obtain a clean track at the back or be able to get off the non-preferred tire. Several of Dixon's wins this year were a result of that type of strategy, whether initially planned or not.

That was honestly the worst season finale race I’ve ever seen and one of the worst races of 2023. Embarrassing way to end the 2023 season. It’s a bad look for the sport. Even with the “best drivers in the world” quotes.
We can’t keep having stupidity like this not only next year, but in the future.

That first lap was stupid. Newgarden got hit by three different cars in turn 2.

It looked like a low split iRacing race. It was like watching a train wreck.

Laguna, as absolutely awesome as it is, isn't the most conducive layout for passing
The repave unfortunately turned into an issue with grip on line vs off line
There was some really dumb driving out there
Scott Dixon is the master; but we already knew that
But still a damn entertaining race!
Was nice to see Indy NOT holding the yellow for the whole field - I absolutely can't stand that, think that Indy should more or less be 'blind' to where the teams are on their pit strategy(yes, even the damn season points leader - how about blocking penalties applied equally.......), and should just throw the yellows as necessary. It REALLY takes away from the race when they hold the yellow for the whole field to pit first and then everyone is on the same strategy. I don't want to see them do that "in certain situations", no, treat them all the same and put blinders on when they make the call. Yea, sucks if you're a team that gets screwed by the yellow - but that's racing, there's always been a heavy amount of 'luck' involved.

I only saw bits and pieces of Laguna Seca and to say that I was disappointed would be a massive understatement. I honestly don't know how moving the season finale to the Nashville Street Course in 2024 is going to help things.....

I would love to see Laguna Seca replace Sonoma on the cup schedule
