sorry to be on another question but is it possible to create parametric wall panels using free version of sketchup or do you have a video on this topic
Hi, I'm on skp layout and sometimes when closing the file some photos disappear and some no longer link. This gives them a gray field with a red x. What can I do about it? I now have to manually link them again and that is a lot of work. I also use skp to load floor plans into layout. It happens here too. The maps suddenly disappear.
Very cool but roofs are usually 4:1, 6:1, 12:1 not typically in degrees when called out on Architectural drawings. I know you can do the math to figure it out but it would have been better to use roof slopes that we use in the trade.
Great video. These tool do a good job, however, most of the architects I work with create roofs that are far to complicated than any tool could automate. These tools are great if YOU are creating a model for yourself. Until AI figures out how to turn a CAD file into a 3D model, at which time I'll go back to truck driving, until that become automated.
Hi everyone! Let me know what you think about this feature in the comments below! :)
Thank you for this video, and showing this extension makes creating hip roofs so easy!
Hi Justin, What happens when you already have a number of tools that are included in sketchplus? thank you

This would wok well with Placemaker.

I mean...it seems like if you know that you can do math to figure it out, you probably don't need to see that in the video itself...
@@Thesketchupessentials That's not the point, this is Architecture they should use the terms that Architects use.
