I just moved to Southern Highlands from Costa Mesa in SoCal. I love it and am still amazed at what is considered standard. You get so much more here. My last apartment did not even come with a fridge, let alone washer and dryer. ❤
Very Nice. I still like owning my own home, in Summerlin. When I moved here, there was nothing west of Town Center Road, just desert and cactus. Southern Highlands once hosted a course during the PGA event of the Las Vegas Invitational. It was Beautiful.

This is extremely nice .I like that shelby f150 someone had at the beginning of the video. I long beach CA 3000 a month would get you a much crappier apt in DTLB or maybe a semi decent one in redondo beach. That massive tv would be cool to drink some wine and watch sports. I like the pickle ball court too.
I never knew anything like this existed; it's an amazing resort! If I had money I would live there as there is so much to do onsite!

Why move closer to the strip? This place is so very nice.. Also good luck on the move!
I just checked their website. About 40 units available for rent for 1100-1400 square foot units at $2300.00-2500.00 per month. Looks like they need to lower their prices to keep tenants.

I absolutely love this video. I really enjoy the humble informative words you provide. My husband and I plan on moving to the area once all our kids are graduated, which is about, 8 years from now. I know many love owning their home as we do now in SW Washington state. but this is what I like, so many amenities, as you said like living in a las vegas style resort without the hustle and bustle. I really enjoy your videos. Your composition is fantastic. I love how you go off the beaten path. There is so much about the area I have learned from you. So many do the same ol videos, I mean how many cheap eats videos can one make lol. I wanna know the dirt, litterally lol. I feel you provide that for. viewers. We would get along so well I love exploring and that's what I plan to do when we move there, and we always try to when we visit a few times a year. Our next trip is for 4 nights at the Golden nugget in beginning of April but we plan to do more off strip and outside of las vegas exploring each time we go. So we want to know about places like primm and Laughlin and. much more and also some of the do s and donts. We really enjoyed doing the area 51 trip to Rachel NV. That was just fun and star gazing and watching the sunset right outside the gate past the black box was the best thing ever. The stars are amazing and there is sooooooo many you can't see in cities so bright out there at night with all the stars its almost hurts your eyes and makes you dizzy its absolutely breath taking to star gaze outside of las vegas. I also enjoy your professional demeanor you have a wonderful aura about you. Slow and precise on your words really helps you understand, some talk so fast that its a turn off... anyways sorry for long comment I finally had to sit down and compliment you on your videos, I hope you get more and more viewers. So you can keep making these great informative videos! We fell in love with this area years ago, and can not wait to move down here to explore and have the sun more in our lives, thank you Trish!

Across I-15 in The South Point area is very quiet . Apartment rates have gone up in that area especially off of St'Rose Parkway

I'd LOVE to live in a place like this if I had the money. In fact, that location is specifically one I really like (southern Vegas). Close to SOUTHPOINT casino and some other casinos that I like. I live in a different state now but hope to move to southern Nevada probably 2030 or soon thereafter.

One bedrooms and studios are cheaper. I believe the lease options start at 3 months and go up to 16

Southern Highlands is far better than Summerlin. Green Valley, aka Henderson, isn't in the same league as SH.
Unless you go up into the Villas area, summerlin is starting to decline. I love Royal Highlands in SH..guard gated & patrol constantly, no one is getting in there unless u live there or prove u have business or seeing friends.

I think it's a square deal! You save on money on recreational activities and entertainment. Which is getting expensive in Vegas. Summerlin is overdeveloped, with too many franchises. I'd rather live in the Arts District.
Just out of curiosity, do you happen to know any places other than RV parks that I can stay for a few months out of the year for the wintertime and is pet friendly? I have a Mollucan Cockatoo parrot. I would love to get away from the snow and cold weather where I'm at. I don't want to sell my house and I'm not wanting to buy a house either. Something that I can rent for a few months out of the year. Any suggestions? Love Vegas too! Used to go there with friends all the time before covid. Always something to do and see there besides gambling on and off the strip.
The first place that comes to mind is Cancun on Las Vegas Blvd- although I’m not certain they are pet friendly. There is also copper creek, they do one month leases and are very pet friendly. You could also look into air bnbs but they might be unnecessarily overpriced.

Downtown Vegas? It’s probably the location. This complex is located very south (right by M resort)
@@babealabe not in Vegas, a medium city in Ohio called Akron. The only cool thing is, from my window I can watch the AA baseball games and fireworks from the stadium across the street. I think I need to consider a move to a better state.

If you’re gonna spend $3000 a month you might as well just go get yourself a mortgage and at least you own it.
That’s great advice! However, I own multiple properties in California and they’re utilized as successful short term rentals so I have enough passive income to be remote and live in a place like this
Your never really own your home...if you think so, don't pay your property taxes and see how fast you get kicked out...lol.
I get it wanting to experience something like this, it's not always about owning your own home. All the amenities and the community, in a few years when we are ready I'm going to live here for at least a year just to experience it. think about it this way its 750 a week, you can't stay anywhere with these amenities for that amount on begas strip. and it's 100 time better and private and quiet I bet. I get it some may not but I totally understand why your trying this out, what a treat to wake up to every morning Low stress good vibes, go get coffee have a workout step in the pool get tour hair done. I admire your success. I always wanted to get to the point you are right now, but life had different plans for me when I became a foster parent to my niece and nephew 4 years ago and I have 3 kiddos and a stepson so she will be in middle school next year so we have about 8 years and we can finally move to our fave spot outside of vegas somewhere and have the sun all the time, the hard thing about the nw its beautiful but man the clouds really get to you.. I need the sun more in my life. sorry to burst in with this comment. But I get it!!!! I'm kinda Jelly lol
