What I think would be un-expectantly horrifying is having to wake up at night and fortify the resting area or your bus from a horde of walkers for night mode,
Okay, so, rampart isn't too scary at night given the game gives you this little glow around your feet regardless of if you've got your light on, and also chainsaw.
Thats why the map is so good. Because it's scary which means it's so immersive whenever your going through it. Most people want to go to rampart as little as possible because it's a scary map which is just showing how good of a map it is if your scared to even go there
I think rampart is my last stressful. Because your walking through a hallway or rooms most of the time, you can always easily see and hear the enemies. Once you've cleared a room, you're pretty damn safe to explore. It's a great map overall
rampart is a very good map, everyone hates it for how dark and scary the place is and that is respectable, schools are always scary in zombie apocalypse media
My opinion: (Excluding the resting place & churchyard) 8: Rampart (I just dislike this map. Most of the doors are locked or blocked in the hallways, and i just feel there is less loot. I also hate scavenging on this map and rampage is kinda boring but also scary.) 7: Bastion (Much better than Rampart, but Bastion imo is just small and dosen't have enough buildings or places in it. I do like the rainy/night effect tho, and bastion actually reminds me what a zombie apocalypse is like.) 6: Old Town (Decent for scavenging, and has decent amount of loot. But idk, this map is kinda messy and there's better locations. But old town is a good map overall.) 5: The Shallows (pretty underrated map in my opinion, i know there isn't a lot, and only one building, but i just enjoy this map. Theres decent amount of loot and the shallows is a very fun map especially when the patrol are there.) 4: Memorial Lane (Good map, has a lot of loot, and also fun to explore. Memorial Lane is one of the most stacked locations in my experience, and has a lot to scavenge.) 3: Bywater (Bywater is a very big map, theres many buildings and tons of loot. Bywater is super fun when the patrol is around, and just feels enjoyable. Love it.) 2: The Ward (In my experience, the ward has by far the most loot out of any location there is. The ward is a very fun map to explore, and also fun in the story mode. It's a near perfect map.) 1: Via Carolla (Via carolla is slightly better than the ward imo, idk it just has decent amount of loot, extremely fun to explore, and is just a classic fun zombie apocalypse map.)
It's not that Rampart is a bad map, it's just the fact that you literally can't see anything and my worst experiences were in rampart. I haven't even died there and I consider it the most dangerous map. Coming in here at night in retribution is going to be the closest this game will come to a nightmare mode
the problem i ran into with rampart was well the darkness (psvr) where in the video you have light from the windows but when i played it was litterally pitch black same with the school
unpopular opinion but via corolla is best map (not including the resting place) via corolla has reclaimed building, tower building, burgled mission, badass shootout whenever you want, way to fight the reclaimed sneaky or through the front door same with the tower, a bunch-a loot, easy ish caches i say its perfect
Honestly i dont like rampart because of how dark and creepy it is, i find it to be the saddest map after i did the alone forever mission casey makes you do
amazing video, agree with all of this, the only issue i have is how loud it is when you fire your gun, kill a human or walker, or a walker spots you, that's all
Yeah, I didn't realize that my voice was that quiet, so I tried to level it the best I could. It didn't come out great, but eh, it'll be fixed in later videos though.
what items don't stay in the area. i only know that zombie parts don't stay. i have a giant collection of soda cans (65 total) behind the seat of the bus and the shelf near the bed is filled with special items and dolls. as well as some other things i didn't want to throw away such as raido's, the soundtrack, and walkie talkies but im wondering what will despawn if i leave it out cuz i don't want to lose anything.
For me I'm just scared of rampart because all the buildings and very dim and the gim is really dark but I still love but I would give it an A because I'm afraid to die of walkers that I'm not even able to see
with retribution just around the corner, going to rampant in the middle of the night is the stuff of nightmares right there.
i totally agree, whenever i went to rampart it was scary as hell, Even when i beat the game around 3-6 times
What I think would be un-expectantly horrifying is having to wake up at night and fortify the resting area or your bus from a horde of walkers for night mode,
There’s going to be a hospital in retribution, and I feel like that’ll become the new rampart, only worse.
@@theunluckyjumpmaster9098 I’ll bring an extra pair of pants while every door breaks when I try to open it.
Okay, so, rampart isn't too scary at night given the game gives you this little glow around your feet regardless of if you've got your light on, and also chainsaw.
bywater is an s. feels huge, has this cool explosives mission. 3 buildings, gives you this feeling of exploration. i love this map.
Nevermind the pitch black in the cannery. That was more terrifying than Rampart.
@@jonathansandusky7446 oh yeah it was
@@jonathansandusky7446but atleast the cannery is small and doesn’t have a 75% chance to have doors immediately disintegrate when you try to open them
honestly i think rampart is a great map, I just really don’t like walking through it because it’s so dark and creepy lol
great video!

"Rampart is a good map" 🤓
Rampart is also the largest map so it’s a bit annoying to do quests there and especially when there’s a time limit
Rampart on psvr2 is absolutely terrifying. I love it. I hate being there tho. But the exile networks wont build themselves
rampart is a very good map, everyone hates it for how dark and scary the place is and that is respectable, schools are always scary in zombie apocalypse media
its less dark and scary its more getting lost in a huge ass building where i can barely see 2 feet in front of me
The two recipes safe code and key make this the best map ever

but everything changed when the reclaimed attacked........... and took shelter in the school
Me, a rampart junkie: “I thought I was the only one.”
the problem i ran into with rampart was well the darkness (psvr) where in the video you have light from the windows but when i played it was litterally pitch black same with the school
Via Corolla will always be S tier for me.
Nutty talking is just on a whole new level! I cant wait for the future of this channel
Bro I agree Rampart is a good map I love it but also hate it because of how terrifying it is but there’s so much to explore it’s a whole school!

Facts, I also think bywater and bastion are good because of scale ness beauty and adventure for bywater and gameplay grimness and missions for bastion
I'm on Day 7 in my file, hoping to reach more maps soon.
Honestly i dont like rampart because of how dark and creepy it is, i find it to be the saddest map after i did the alone forever mission casey makes you do
rampart definitely has the most environmental story telling out of all the maps
On Rampart on the Quest 2, there are no more classrooms blocked off than the PCVR. Are you referring to the first quest?
They might've opened them up on ch2, not entirely sure. But yeah this video was recorded way before ch2 released
Via collara is easily an A+, you got plenty of action with the enemies, loot is plentiful, and the map design is great.

I've had saints and sinners for a year now I've beat aftershocks and campaign again recently Rampart still gives me nightmares
Very nice video, nutty. I think they definitely could have added more to the shallows
The audio on this video is ass btw, so you might wanna lower your volume. (Or raise it if you're a masochist)

Would be really nice if they open up more buildings in retribution, if not all of them
Rampart has terrible immersion in Quest2. You can't see anything even during day time.
rampart is a good map but it scares the living shit out of me
Especially if you’re on quest, and you can barely see plus the random door sounds
i have a question, does anyone else not have troops spawn at the ward anymore?
I wouldn't be surprised if that just doesn't happen
If zombies didn’t respawn I would love rampart
yes
I only dislike rampart because on psvr you can see about a meter in front of you and it’s just annoying
Yeah lol, my cousin has psvr and I went over to his house and was wondering why everything was so dark
I love via. It’s so fun
I unlocked all recepies but there's no strings running through them, do I gotta go to my settings?
That was an old version of the game, you cant get the string anymore.
learnt way more stuff about the game then i thought there was maybe i should play this more and get all the collectibles
Me who plays on quest: Fuck rampart took me around 1 hour to find the bloody fancy ax recipe because no music room

I wouldn't know, I simply went through a process many like to call "Growing Up"

THIS VIDEO IS FIRE! well made
I really hate rampart (at least on psvr1). You really cant see a single thing. Hopefully the lighting is better on psvr2
The lighting is really off on Rampart on some devices to be fair, native Quest and PSVR1 got the brunt of it.
You forgot Hotel E Claire, Tower and French Quater. -_-
My brother in christ
Is he supposed to go back in time? 😂
This isn’t retribution goofy
Nutty voice 😳
Not “the blue mansion” 💀, you can’t rank that it was blown up in the “great blue boom of ‘22” notoriously committed by Dr Toast
I wana make a ranking video about weapons and stab methods
Go for it, I'm probably not gonna make anymore S&S videos unless they're really important, so pretty much all ideas are free for taking.
Rampart is a below F.
I was have this game on psvr I was gonna get it on quest but what
Yes rampart got s tier thankyou
national guard and axe mans angel
damn quest rampart and pc rampart are not the same map. yeah pc rampart good map quest rampart f
the toy train is a comic book call
Old town is deadly in retribution trying to get the axe is awful

I tried to make my intro not sound like an absolute copy of his but I couldn't think of anything else to say lol
In ch2 you can loot at night
I know. I'm super excited for that.
I think you ranked all maps in s&s
