@@aucarreau Hi - I spoke with Yens & this is what he said. "It´s not totally improvised. It is not so easy to play all layers live. Usually, I use prepared tracks and play effects, melodies, filters, etc. live..." I hope that answers your question?

Ones that could deliver layers spontaneously improvising is the lineup Franke/Froese/Baumann (Tangerine Dream) in the mid 70:ies! Analogue. :) Really worth listening to!
