After the Rain is the debut album of the American rock group Nelson, released by DGC Records in 1990. The album was a commercial success, peaking at #17 on the Billboard 200 and spending 64 weeks on the charts. It contained the #1 hit, " Love and Affection" which was also a gold single.

I never knew who they were when their songs came out. I just liked their tunes. I've had this conversation with many rock friends over the years, and they feel the same way. I think it wasn't the public, it was the music machine that did them wrong. Also, the radio stations kinda talked down on them, as I remember it. I never understood it, but the Nelson's came on the scene when music was changing on the airwaves. Thanks for the interview! The Nelson's have a big fan following, now with my 16 year old girls. I showed them the Nelson tunes and now they are sharing it everday.

Now a days u dont even need a record company no recording studios all u need is your cell phones and u can get your music out yourselves cause look at Tom Mcdonald the #1 rapper on the music billboard's he did it himself cause the music labels are corrupted
