LOL changing of the odometer. I had a 65 Barracuda back in 1972. I bought it for $125 with 40K on the clock. I saw it turn every 10K. Eventually the highlight was when it changed to 100K. We didn't have cameras back then like we do now so I just have memories, and you brought that memory back to life. Thanks.

Really enjoy your vids. Always looking for tips for my 52 Plymouth. Keep the good work coming.

As you have pointed out in several videos, it is important to crawl around our cars checking for any new "developments". Thanks Keith!

Great video's as usual. Just recently replaced and rerouted my cables. Amazing the tight spots they run through.
The beer can avalanche made me laugh!! Keep the video's coming!

As always, this video was helpful, well done, and enjoyable. Nice '38 driver. Btw Keith, I checked my '55 Plymouth flathead knock, and turns out the #4 rod bearing was gone! Chewed up the crank and rod journals, so time to rebuild! Thanks for your input on how to determine what cylinder it was by pulling each plug wire while running the engine to figure out which cylinder had the problem, worked well!

Glad to hear that worked. What size engine is it?

Good to see your smiling face under a old car again!
I’m going to safety check mine too!
I’m about to change the wire gage on the defrost motor on my 50 Plymouth to see if I can get it to spin better
    Thanks Keith

I found the 6V fan turned the fastest when all other electric parasitic loads were turned off. Engine rpm’s up while driving to get the most juice out of the generator. Try and seal up any air leaks on the piping from fan up to the defrost vents.

Love your new car! It looks a lot like the old one! Did you get any new options?

Keith, I will check my wiring too after watching your video.
My ‘39 1/2 ton Dodge blew a head gasket between #5 and #6 cylinder. I hauled two loads of bark both containing two yards each. Not a big deal but the old boy gave in. Just for grins, before removing the head I checked the torque and found about four that were not up the 70# value. One of the bolts not near the blown gasket actually turned 180° . So I don’t know what to make of that. How can these head bolts be that far out?
It’s good to see your channel back on the tube, thanks.

Head bolts are designed to stretch when torqued. To lock them in place. If they’ve been re-used a few times, or over-torqued they won’t stay tight. Likely one of your head bolts was a victim of earlier abuse?

@@keithsgarage5831 thanks Keith, that solves the mystery. I have ordered a new set from Andy Bernbaum .

Have you considered adding a PCV valve and eliminating the draft tube?

Look at that! From an old car, to a new car in a matter of seconds. If only it were that easy.🤣😂

I just bought a 1938 Plymouth coupe, I have always been a classic Chevy guy so working on a old Plymouth is a whole different ball game and I am learning a lot from your videos, I’m having trouble finding parts though, especially a rear license plate light housing. What websites do you use to order and find parts besides maybe eBay?

The Facebook 37-39-39 Mopar page works pretty well when trying to find used parts. Try other Mopar Facebook groups also.

Nice catch on that battery cable. If not a fire, it at a minimum would have left you stranded sometime in the future.

Hi Keith, it had been great watching your 38 Plymouth videos since it is a rarer car and hard to find content on it. You may find it interesting to check out the project '38 P6 that just kicked off on Dach's Autos for bodywork. th-cam.com/video/6duO0HhsHDY/w-d-xo.html

Not to be a buzzkill the why don't you just cut a slit in the rubber ring slide it around the column double little silicone on it and call it good

People at work have recently been telling me "you look different than on your TH-cam channel." and I recently realized somebody's telling people to check out my channel "Keith's Garage" .... which is *your* TH-cam channel 😂😂 Subbed!
