- Here's my latest collaboration with the very talented machinimator, Legs. The song, "Wrought", is by my friends, the Seattle Rock Band, Peratus. Our interpretation of their song is a tragedy which unfolds as you see flashbacks from the perspective of an undead warrior who recalls how he fell in love with a beautiful blood elf, a forbidden love which was unacceptable to her people. What transpires afterwards will (hopefully) chill you to the bone.
We hope you enjoy "Wrought". I certainly have enjoyed watching this beautiful tragedy be brought to... life. :)

Looking back at videos and songs like this, makes me appreciate being born in time when all of this is still available online. 15 years ago, teenage me was looking at the same video and finding it cool. 15 years later, still finding it cool, but getting more aware of my mortality ;D

I still get chills from this track. It's incredibly well written and the video cannot be compared with, the emotions are portrayed beautifully and your fans even admit to crying from this. Crying because of the story, relatable and so sad but that song ROCKS! Cranius! Inspiring mages even today!

Holy crap, five years later, this is STILL the most excellently-executed WoW machinima ever. How Legs managed to create such pathos, and tell such an amazing story via the visuals, with the current WoW character models just blows my mind.
Man, when we finally get the new character models, I hope Cranius and Legs (congrats on your marriage, BTW!) return to making WoW machinima. I can only imagine what they could do with the new models.

Over 4 years ago, my fiance at the time couldn't understand why he walked away at the end. Maybe these days, after she made me out to be a monster, she understands why he walked away. After all, she has had years to think it through since she made her worst mistake. I tell ya though! Its good that this month after I visited the doctor he got me on some powerful antibiotics to stop me from rotting like the undead.
At the end of it all. She sees him as the monster.

this machinima is a work of art imho. the story is so well designed to suit the song, and say so much without actually saying anything. truly a well done job from both cranius and legs. and ofc. the original band making the music.

Jeremy Richards Well I'd be scared if a zombie on the loose that just killed 3 people in front of my eyes was unlocking the door that keeps me away from him. I guess thats how she sees him in that moment and he leaves quite fast so she was left shocked from what has just happened.

An excellent combination of Music and Cinematic Art. Kudos on the use of camera and colors that really tell a fantastic love story:
A human man and blood elf woman are in love. Her kind find out about it, kill the guy and lock the girl up. The guy becomes undead but still loves her. When he finds out what they did to her - he goes to free her. She never realizes who her hero is and he continues to love her despite the pain and agony over a life he now lives separated from his love. "Wrought."
