- Hercules is Marvel Snap's latest card and most people think he's gonna be a bad one. Much to my surprise, I had some success with Hercules alongside Human Torch, Vulture, and Heimdall.

Power Estimate: For me this had a really good 71% win rate with some solid cube gains on the release day of Hercules, and I am not much of a Move player. Of course we need way more data to see where Hercules and Move stand in the meta, and I don't think this will be a great deck necessarily, but Hercules and Move in general was much better for me than I expected.

Watching this video reminded me once again that I am too smoothbrained to play move decks.

This video kept demonstrating to me that Herc would be better as a 3/5. Being able to tempo Kraven/Hunter Turn 2/3 and then play your fun movie pieces feels really good and what I think they were going for. The 4 cost makes him too clunky most of the time
4 cost that can be stole by your opponent is suck. I don't know what they're thinking when making this card. Like 4 cost should already affect more than one card. It will made move deck become more fun but i guess they only need a braindead card like loki and alioth. Hopefully this card isn't another kangcident

They need the change Hercules to move one card for EACH player each turn.
Yeah, exactly what I was thinking. Would be a nice clean change that's surprisingly impactful.

Valley of the hand does not return Wolverine and x-23 though. They are not technically in the "graveyard", they are on board. Same interaction with them being discarded and Hela. Although the opponent still cocked the Valley for themselves, by destroying Forge and Nova.
I would probably drop Silk for Falcon, being able to pick up the Fist, Ghost Spider and Torch to free up space and go again. Could also see dropping Spiderman for Beast to help round out that bounce around theme. Cloak being too double sided to control could also probably be dropped for Strange.

Could get two extra power out of Kraven in Game 2 if you play Hercules at another location first. Neat little interaction with Asteroid M. Great video!!
they should've gave herc 2 separate triggers. Move your card and and the ability to move opponents card once

Dude, video was so entertaining that I'm about to close TH-cam and go spend spotlight keys on a week I was going to skip. I think move is going to get a little insane after learning some things from this video. Haven't played move a whole lot and am curious to find out how many cubes I lose learning.

He's a solid card, not a main focus, but with the right setup, he can generate significant power. A key move involves playing Dagger on turn 2, Cloak on turn 3 in a different lane, and dropping Hercules in the cloak lane on turn 4. Moving Dagger into that lane on the same turn triggers Hercules' effect, usually gaining Dagger decent power. While he can require careful planning due to his high cost and potential randomness the overall card can be fun and operate effectively.
Valley of the hand does not bring back cards that, when destroyed return to your hand or comes back into play. So cards like deadpool, wolverine, x-23 etc. Anyways great content as always, keep it up much love.
I spent one key to try and get him i had the other cards but i would have took a variant. I got Hercules so I was happy even if he isnt great its a new series 5 card. Saves me 6k tokens eventually bc I plan to get all cards. Just missing 6 cards now. Im getting there. I think its cool regis always uses the base cards.

Have you considered a Hercules with Zabu, and werewolf combo? Maybe even add kraken. I don’t have zabu, or Hercules to build around these, but would love to see the other cards you might use. On reveals to get werewolf bumbling into Hercules and hopefully kraken increasing in power. Prof x to lock out a lane and improve the odds of powering up by limiting the move late in the game?

Hello Regis, love the content , you should try a list that I tried that felt good to play, the deck utilizes the new quake ability in synergy with storm, to switch the stormed lane in order to trick the opponent into playing the wrong lane , plus the classic control move package with the new kingpin

I got absolutely destroyed earlier by a control herc jug deck it was very interesting and a challenge to play against
practicing my move prowess with phoenix force destroy; can confirm i’ve missed handfuls of multiple man plays and only feel dumber 👍
Is there ever a world where your entire deck revolves around buffing up a human torch then playing a falcon turn 5, into human torch and taskmaster turn 6 🤔
Vulture is surprisingly strong with him. Also think patches. He wont stay 4 6
He would be much better as 3/4 instead. Its kinda awkward to tempo him out on 4 and setting up all your plays in just turn 5 for heimdall on 6

Literally thousands of dollars. I'm a decently sized water mammal and I can't keep up. I've thought about starting a snap related YT channel just so i can write this shit off. They're basically insulting even the water mammals with these new bundles and prices.

As someone whose always loved move and have most my move cards inked I'm very excited for Hercules. Because of all the bad press I'm hoping they throw him a bone and either make him 3/5 or have it that the first card that moves to his location for both players moves again. Move is such a fun way to play and I've never been a fan of people who only play the most optimized decks only. Just incredibly boring.

Card seems fun but 4 energy and the fact its a move card and I will use it incorrectly over half the time means its skip for me, especially with the rest of the junk this week.
I'd say right now he is. I think Hercules should have had an ability to bright down the power of an opposing player by 3

The consistency problem is something that plagues these combo heavy decks. It's why i moved to ramp and collector.

Why is this card 6000?
I think like Jeff over Silk and Spiderman 2077 over Dagger and this deck would perform even better. Dagger felt like a total dead card if you ever get Human torch or Kraven you never play her and with Spiderman 2077 you have a lil bit more control
I think Hercules suffers the same fate as Kingpin. Too expensive for their effect and is slow on tempo. Make Hercules 3/5 and Kingpin activate on turn 5 rather than turn 6

I hate to distract from the video, but the patch bummed me tf out today :( I've been running a 2099/Kingpin list, and it was sooooo much fun. Surprisingly good too. And now I just feel like I lost the lynchpin that makes move/destroy work. Like, it's cool move got some support in Hercules I guess, but idk man. I want 2099 to be good :\
Kingpin got no play. His change is more of a buff than anything.
Move has actually been my Go To deck in this Thanos Blob meta. And I've only seen Kingpin one time so far. fingers crossed he doesn't become a meta staple because of Hercules.

@@Ybarchov21 oh absolutely, but it's entirely less interesting. The whole move rework is a less interesting take on the mechanic imo. And it annoys me bc they try n justify it with "clarity" or "consistency"
For anyone curious, the list was Electra, Iron Fist, Strange, Negasonic, Gambit, Juggernaught, Killmonger, Kingpin, Polaris, Spider-Man, Shang Chi, 2099. Cutting Elektra for Magneto is the "better" build, but I climbed from 50 to 70 with this deck, won like 7 rounds across 3 gold conquests.
It was insanely fun :( like C5 before they "buffed" nimrod. They always buff cards I'm using in such a way as to kill my decks :p
I understand you're trying to keep your videos about a half hour long but I personally am disappointed when they end. You totally could add like 3 or 4 more hours and I would still watch and enjoy every minute just saying 😅
19:20 Silk couldn't have won anyway. You played Torch 2nd, so even if she went Right, you would have just thrown her back left. Now if you played Torch first, You had a 50/50 to win.
Why not Miles instead of Silk ? Seems like Silk + Hercules not great.

Lol this game is so weird. Ive finally gotten fed up and couldn’t care less about it so my new goal is to go all the way down to rank 1. Well the bloody bots won’t let me loose😂 loosing against another player is fairly easy but i play a few cards on turn 1 2 3 and completely skip turns 4 5 6 and i still win🤦♂️ never thought loosing would be hard.😂😂

Move is one of my favorite archetypes and I really want this card... But not enough to waste spotlight keys getting HOWARD VARIANT. Like, wtf? And this werewolf variant is trash.

Like the video doesn't need to be filled with busy audio to be engaging. I'm here for your skill plays, innovative decks, teasing stuff out how it will work etc.
