I've had three cats...one was orange and he was definitely the orneriest of the three :)
Also kittens that have been hand reared without any siblings or other cats around tend to be a bit more "bitey" because they never learned bite inhibition from their litter mates or mom.
@lornaginetteharrison7168 yeah like mine, he had no mother around, and he was biting as hell when he was a kitten, then he learnt a little bit, but it can still hurts sometimes
If there is one thing that melts my heart it is a man rescuing a small defenceless animal and raising it as a mother would. ❤

My bf is very masculine, very man's man. But when the cats at his house had kittens he became the mom after their mother died from another dead kitten inside her. He still 5 years later calls himself the mom of the cat they kept from the litter, and who he said they couldn't adopt out. She's completely his baby, and not as a dad but as a mom.

He needed a partner in his clean-up mission. "Fuego Greggo" may not be able to help physically, but he's a great motivator for Frogleg. He always reminds Mr. Frogleg to take a break, get something to eat and drink (okay, get GREG a little something to eat and drink, too!), and relax a bit.
This is the best partnership EVER!!!

Found a kitten while traveling around, picking up garbage. What a genuinely good, kind man.
My son found a small ginger kitten in the middle of the road 2 weeks ago.
He's taken over the whole house. Even Trixie my dog who isn't exactly fond of cats is smitten with him. We have another rescue kitten a grey female about 4 months old and a beautiful black and white and white Male a year old and he's the big brother and wrestles with the baby to make him tough 😂...

From what I understand of pet behavior, when it comes to thunderstorms, they take their cues from their human companions. If the humans react apprehensively or fearfully, their pets will be more likely to do the same. But if the humans take it in stride, the pets will also be more likely to do so. They learn from example.

I took in a stray momma cat and her feral kitten. After my last cat, i did not want any more animals to take care of...but i couldn't turn my back. I got mom in the house relatively easy, but kitten was a challenge. She hid for several days after i got her in the house until my daughter managed to gain its trust. Then it trusted me too. I don't want more animals to take care of at my age (76) but don't feel i have much choice. Theyve alread destroyed curtains in 3 rooms, the little stinkers!
Sometimes animals find you instead of you finding them. Be open to them and appreciate your new found friendship. You'll be saving a life while also enriching your own.
Proud of you for not only rescuing this wonderful creature, but for having him vaxxed and fixed and making that part of the story.

When my kitten became sick and died, it felt like I lost a child. What makes it worse, the hospital where it died alone. In its afterlife, it was restless and visited me a lot, such that I had to keep myself more open than I usually would. Then, another cat died, a sister of her, by a car incident. They met and went into the cat paradise together. So I lost two cats, but in the end, I am happy for both, having now found their serenity and peace.

You are very sweet. Single kittens are called singletons, and don't learn boundaries on biting and fighting due to lack play with others. At a shelter, it's best if they can be fostered with other kittens. But, you did the best you could!

One night in 2009 when I was rolling in the trash container I heard meowing. Out from under my neighbors hedges came six tiny kittens. We cleaned them, milked them, found three homes and kept three. Out of that experience I have concluded the most loving cats are the ones obtained due to early abandonment because they think you are their parents and they got trained to love humans from when they first opened their eyes.
What a giving life you live...cleaning up the environment and rescuing the beautiful Gregg. You are a responsible cat Dad. Since you are on the rode, I hope you got him chipped, just in case...❤😸
