Hey everyone!! So sorry for the delay once again, wanted to make sure I could make the watermark less visible, but hope you still enjoyed the reaction! See you next for a surprise movie and Hook!!
Hey nick that was a great reaction video👏👏👍👍 to the pixar movie finding dory🐟🐟🐠🐠🐠🐙🐋 can't wait for the surprise movie👀 and the movie reaction to hook🏴☠️😁👍
Hey Nick first I wanna say I really enjoy you reactions there really i hope I'm not bothering I know you can be busy but I just wanted to ask when you might start reaction to the owl house again ? Just curious anyhow again really really enjoy your reactions 😁😁
Dory is excellent disability representation. She may need a lot of support and her wandering can be alarming at times but she makes real contributions to the lives of her friends and helps them find solutions they wouldn't be able to without her unique perspective. Her sunny, witty personality means she makes friends wherever she goes. As a neurodivergent woman myself (although without memory issues) I utterly love her
I can relate to Dory about having mental disability, I have autism, I can sometimes have anxiety attacks when confused and have a tendency to act before I think
Fun fact... scientists were puzzled when fish they had kept disappering, so they set up a camera...they actually filmed an Octupus leaving its tank, crawling over to the fish tank, opening it, and then eating a fish before returning back to its tank.
8:10 - They actually touch on it in the first movie, albeit briefly. Clownfish and anemones have a symbiotic relationship. By repeatedly brushing against the anemones, clownfish have a developed layer of mucus on them that defend them from their stings. It protects them from predators, who easily get stung without the built up immunity. Hence why Dory cannot sleep in the anemone with them.
I DO like how they made her home next to Marlin and Nemo's anemone a BRAIN Coral. I thought that was very clever, given how the movie focuses on Dory's memory and how she uses her memory flashbacks to reunite with her family.
Fun fact the original actor that voiced Nemo his voice changed so they replaced him but he makes a cambio appearance to the guy who says we are so fired
Nick is our Dory. He doesn't remember things as we would during the moments, says odd things and tends to have some people always frustrated with him for being emotional. But the fans care and adore him, because he is special, and it is always entertaining to watch his reactions to movies even when he says odd things or forgets things. He helps us realize that it is okay to feel emotional.
@@Aloysius_OHare they basically called Nick stupid or something like that, I'm sorry I actually have short term memory loss like Dory but not as exaggerated as hers LoL 🤣 I just remembered that part about them thinking Nick was stupid and I politely told them to piss off
Nick is a beautiful human being and I enjoy watching his reactions....especially to movies like this that are so steeped in emotions. And it IS perfectly OK for a man to be emotional. Its not weakness, its beautiful.
Finding Dory is such a wholesome yet rather simplistic animated film. Saw it in theaters when it first came out. The child version of Dory is cute. It kinda reminds of Moana when she was a baby herself. It's got something to do with their eyes. This is a great reaction vid, Nick! Keep it up!
Fun fact...I heard someone speculate that the baby turtle that Moana saves and returns to the sea is, in fact, little Squirt from this movie. I thought that was cool.
This movie changes the first movie ENTIRELY for me. Knowing that through all the shenanigans of the first film, Dory’s parents are somewhere else just collecting shells 💔😭
Dory's memory loss disability actually makes sense, since it's extremely hard to breed Blue Tangs in captivity and 2016 was also the first time a Blue Tang had been bred in captivity.
This movie means a lot to me. As someone with Autism, this movie really does relate to me. Especially when Dory’s mom says “Do you think she can make it out on her own?” Really made me cry when I saw it in theaters. I think this movie can relate to anybody with a mental disorder and the struggles that they go through.
Tbh the first time I watched this I thought it was a beautiful way of discussing disabilities and how they're not setbacks. People are differently abled. Not even just with dory and memory loss but even with Bailey and his echolocation and destiny with her sight. It's beautiful how much they can achieve especially as a team.
As someone with short term memory loss, not as extreme as Dory, but I still really connected with her when I saw both movies in theaters. They make me cry, especially the scene towards the end of the first film when Marlin leaves her, and she desperately begged him to stay saying with him she can remember and she is home.
I love Dory. Like I said in my comment on Finding Nemo, I have autism and Dory is such a good inspiration for people that have something that make them different.
Octopi are amazing creatures honestly, they're one of the few marine creatures that have been proven to dream. They change colour during sleep which indicates their brains are dreaming or experiencing something close to it. They're great at solving puzzles and they can fit into spaces you'd think impossible. Unfortunately they only live for two or so years, seems oddly cruel of nature to make something so smart and give it such a short lifespan 🙃
Considering how intelligent humans are and destructive they can be with that intelligence. Nature may have been wise in only allowing one instead of two reaching more than two years of life.
aaa how could someone give a dislike to you(? you are such a positive person, even when you don’t like a movie you still find a positive side 💜 definitely you are one of the best reaction channels ✨✨
I relate to Dory so much. I have ADHD and short term memory issues because of it. I will walk into a room and forget why I'm there and I forget names and dates so easily. Dory is such a great role model for kids and adults with mental health issues.
I was worried about this movie since I thought it would be another Cars 2 where they make the comic relief the main character. But it managed to be a surprisingly great movie. I liked how they explored the origins of Dory, and how she got separated from her family. Unlike Cars 2, this film uses the comic relief character and actually give her more of a personality. We felt sad knowing she lost her parents but felt happy that she found them again. It also has a very positive message for people with disabilities.
Nick, you have always been one of my favorite reactors because of how honest and genuine you are. Your personality always shines through and I truly appreciate and LOVE just how genuine you are! I really don't remember how I found you, but it's been a while now!! There's just something so innately pure about you that warms my heart!!!
When this movie came out, I was a huge marine biology nut, so seeing all these nearly photo realistic animals (especially Hank and his camouflage) gave me so much joy and still does.
When I first watched this, the opening almost made me cry, especially with the music, that’s one of the reasons why Thomas Newman is my favorite composer
I love how both in Finding Nemo and in Finding Dory, it breaks down the stereotype that disabilities are bad. Everyone who has a disability didn’t let it define them and showed they can live life fine and happily in their own way. Nemo and Gill with their lucky/bad fin. Dory with her short term memory loss. Destiny with her partial blindness. Hank with a missing tentacle. Along with a few other characters. I love both these movies equally :) not to mention baby Dory with her family was such a bonus. Pixar never misses with the animation and message.
Fun fact: originally in the first movie the opening scene was gonna be in segmented pieces throughout the film and gradually show us why Marlin is the way he is. That of course got scrapped and placed right at the beginning to tell us right off the bat. However, that idea was reused for this movie, which fits better given Dory’s memory disability.
Such a wholesome movie, glad you enjoyed it. And that creature they encountered was a Humboldt Squid. A fairly aggressive predatory species known for attacking humans while feeding or hunting and deep sea cameras, usually found 700 meters underwater during the day. They are bioluminescent and glow red when hunting. So the blue glow was them disturbing it before deciding to feed.
as someone who suffers from short and long term memory loss, this film became very special to me. i've suffered with this issue for five years now - it's been a struggle. while it's not the best, this film definitely helped with comforting me. one of the few films that has had me crying.
I remember when I saw this movie at the movie theaters for the first time. I told my dad about the whole “parents assumed being dead” thing, when my dad came back into the theater room. My dad actually protested about that by saying “What?” “They can’t do that!” “They can’t be dead!” “That defeats the whole purpose of the movie!”. I actually had my doubts about Dory’s parents being dead after I heard him say that.
I’m so glad that you watched one of my favorite Pixar movies! It’s really interesting that most of the new characters have some sort of disability. My friend pointed out that Hank, along with missing an arm, also has some sensory issues, like how he doesn’t like being touched, and also turns off the light when he’s first introduced!
I really like Finding Dory! The emotions from this film hit me hard every time, especially when Dory reunited with her parents.🥹 Honestly, one of my favorite Pixar sequels. Thanks a lot for covering this film, Nick!🙂
There is nothing wrong with being emotional, it’s okay to cry when you need to. I always cry during films like these and that’s okay, it shows how much movies can make others feel like they can relate to the characters or maybe they experienced something similar. It makes everything feel real and that’s the beauty of films. So don’t hold back on being excited, surprised, emotional, or even angry. 💜
Ohhhh my heart. I forgot how emotional this movie was. Baby Dory is ridiculously adorable. And I love how even though she DOES struggle with remembering, she still remembers the important things that her parents taught her....like "just keep swimming" and following the shells and this helps her find her family again...and that includes Marlin and Nemo. She remembers them, and she cares about them, and when she is separated from them, she misses them and wants them back. That is, to me, the very definition of love.
Fun little Easter egg: When Dory and Destiny meet each other for the first time in many years, Riley Andersen from Inside Out can be seen with the crowd of kids at the tank. It’s one of if not our favorite Pixar reference they’ve ever did. And not only is it an amazing Easter egg, but it’s also evidence that Finding Dory takes place over a decade after the first movie (despite it saying “one year later” at the beginning), about a year after Riley moved to California, and the other kids that were there are probably her classmates going on a field trip.
YAAAAAAAY. This movie reminds me of one of my closest friends, she's got memory problems and relates to Dory a lot, and i see it everytime I watch it 🤣
Fun fact about octopi. They actually do work with fish on reeves, basically in hunting and stuff, and will actually punch them to keep them honest and stop them from stealing.
You are the sweetest person I have ever had the joy of getting to know. Love the reactions, never disliked any of them and I’m always so excited to sit down and watch a movie together! Share whatever you want to share with us, we’ll be here to listen!
As someone who has the closest to functional short term memory loss (Limited Working Memory w/ Executive Dysfunction- real short term memory loss or retrograde amnesia wouldn’t work like this), I always get really sad at the beginning. Because I was like that as a kid. Distractable and always wandering off. I could’ve been hurt. The amount of times I was out last dark and had my parents looking for me. And I worry about getting old, with a higher likelihood of memory issues increasing, and not having anyone to remind me of things that are important to me. Happens on the downlow here at home. Things like what I like to eat or the names of people I know-- or that the oven is on. But could be worse, and I’d hate to be ignored or considered a burden in that state. So. I really feel for Dory and how others treat her. 🥺
And being so positive and chipper is a survival strategy honestly! I love her! I’d go insane if I wasn’t constantly pushing my positivity, compassion and hope to its fullest.
Realistically: Stress makes it worse. Learned Helplessness makes it worse. But good reminders and a mix of visual AND audio cues can also be good help.
Fun fact! Certain types of Fish can survive without water for hours at a time. Such as common Bass fish or Perch for example.. if you catch one (like I did when I was little) you can leave it out of the water for around 4 hours before it actually dies, they tend to go limp after 2 hours but they are still breathing
Hank escaping from his enclosure is actually based on true stories of octopi escaping from their tanks in aquariums. They're extremely intelligent creatures.
Omg i love Finding Dory. Little Dory is so cute. And dont worry if there is a delay on any of your reaction videos. Those who love your reactions will wait for them.
The animators decided to make Hank a septopus after realizing they couldn't fit eight tentacles onto his body, and by then it was too late to go back and resize everything. They tweaked his backstory to account for the missing limb.
OHMYGOSH!!! I think I never watched that ending scene so I’m genuinely shocked that the fish tank crew from Finding Nemo made a cameo. I’m so glad they found their way to the rehab centre cuz they’d eventually be released to where they belong. I hope they find Nemo one day. That was so great. Baby Dory is the cutest animated character ever. I love her and I love that she didn’t have to choose between her birth family and her chosen family. I’m glad they all get a happy ending to stay together. It’s such a dark movie in the beginning and it’s wonderful to see a much happier ending.
I kind of relate a little bit to Dory as although I don't have short term memory loss, I am very scatter-brained and tend to forget a lot of important things
I remember that I went to see finding Dory in theaters in 2016 back the song that Played was a scene featured during the climax when Hank the octopus with dory drives a truck heading to Cleveland into the ocean and releases all the fish was the 1967 song what a wonderful world performed by Louie Armstrong it was a great song that song was also played in a another animated movie Madagascar in 2005.
I remember when I went to go see this in theaters, the film actually glitched and cut out at the part where Dory was lost in the pipes. 😰 It came back on shortly afterwards but MAN. CERTIFIED STRESS.
I keep waiting for Dory to crash into an Italian fish, knock him down by accident, and when she apologizes, he replies, "no big deal, hey, forget about it!" It might be a joke that flies over the kiddos' heads, but it's a gag that the writers could have laughed about, since a joke like that would work perfectly for a fish with short term memory loss. Also, I'm with you. Little Dory is absolutely adorable!
I love this movie so much. Dory's story is so sad, and it is also so real for people with learning disabilities. Often left out, no one really cares to help in the ways that are needed, and it is hard to make friends who understand. But it is possible to find people willing to help and understand.
Idk what made me tear up watching this video. Rewatching this heartbreaking story after years, or you reacting to it for the first time and look like you’re crying
Finding Dory is pretty good. It’s a little dull in story wise but the animation, music, and characters are really good. I would say this movie is a 9/10.
This was the last movie I saw in movie theaters I watched on my birthday July 2 I was going to watch captain American civil war but it wasn’t in theaters so my mom made me watch it at first I’m like this is dumb but than I got hooked and started rooting for the characters.
Nothing wrong with watching it again :) your reactions are great :D also if I heard correctly, sorry for your loss. I recently lost a loved one as well. Keep doing you :) feel free to rant or tell us stories bc again you’re a truly wholesome person and we know you’re not just doing that for clout. love your channel 🤗 have a nice day :D
The movie had one controversial scene that involved a Same sex couple holding hands and kissing that had to be trimmed after test audiences reacted to with a negative response. This was the first Pixar movie to be snubbed at the Oscars and Golden Globes.
I love the way this movie book ends with marlin and dory enjoying the view of the dropoff. Tbh outside the toy story sequels finding dory is the best sequel pixar made
For anyone who never noticed this; in 17:59 you can see a picture of Darla distinctly inside the office. This positively confused and creeped me out when I first noticed this. Did anyone else see this their first time? I wondered if that meant one of the Dentists relatives work there. Also, I wished we got a short film for the Tank Gang and got some closure for them, I feel a bit bad that they escaped just so they could get locked in a box again
@58:50 I love listening to what kids say to hear for the encouragement and kindness their parents instill in them like how Dory's parents were encouraging and kind so Dory (in addition to the personality she was born with) is also encouraging and kind. For instance, my 4-year-old niece has told us "Don't worry. I'll be careful." "It's okay. Don't get frustrated." "Are you okay? It'll be okay." "Yay! Good job!! :D"
Octopus are scary smart. There have been many moments in real life where they problem solve or escape. If you give them a jar with food in it, they will realize the jar lid must be unscrewed in order to get the food. They really are unbelievable creatures.
All I can say about this movie is UNFORGETTABLE. But really, I forgot about this movie if Nick wouldn't have reacted to Finding Nemo and I remembered immediately about Finding Dory LOL.
FIRST time watching "Finding Dory" too today😊Because of your reaction to "Finding Nemo" and the 2nd movie.... So happy Dory kept all her friends and meet old friends and made new ones on the way and even kept her family, I was scared at the part when Dory first met her parents again for along time and her parents were happy to see her too and hugged her that I got worried it was her imagination and they weren't really there no more and gone.
16:29-16:40 : Bitter experiences drove Dory apart from Marlin and Nemo. Marlin was terrified that Nemo almost got killed that it caused him to finally lose his cool and lash out at Dory for her obviousness and behavior with Nemo unable to defend her that time, while Dory was stunned and heartbroken by Marlin’s harsh words that it caused her to swim off in depression and get captured by the MLI. This moment proved that unlike how Dory wasn’t bothered by Marlin’s frustration in Finding Nemo, this moment proved that Marlin went too far that it actually affected Dory badly that puts their friendship to the hard test and causing Marlin to go through the same experience that happened in the first film. Besides, Marlin lashing out at Dory is similar to the argument he had with Nemo that led him to be captured by the divers.

I'd like to see a third movie dedicated to Gill. How did he end up in the tank and damaged did his parents try finding him there you go. That's how you set up a sequel see if there's a loveable character from the first that had such interaction with main characters. Why not not do a sequel but say it's that in someway is as also a spin-off. I just want Gil's story. Like did he go through a trench? Did he encounter more dangerous things or similar events like Marlin? I want to know! DIIISSSNNNEEEYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He got the scars from his first failed attempt to escape. He said he landed on dental tools... 😣 But I love those theories, and absolutely, a movie about him would be amazing!

Great reaction! I’m so glad you enjoyed the sequel! Dory is one of my favorite characters and I love how we got to learn more about her. Also I cannot wait to see your reaction to Hook! 🐠
Like The Incredibles 2, this movie was not better than the first, but it still was a very worthy sequel. After the popular character that was Dory, it was only obvious for her to be the main protagonist. Loved how they focused on her condition and how it's not a bad thing. Really a great lesson. Movie could've been a little better, but it was still a very great continue 😁
I saw this one in theaters, and when we think Dory's parents are dead, I was so close to getting up and walking out of the showing, and leaving my mom watching it alone. Glad I stayed, though. Awesome movie.
Cameo: The moment Dory is placed in the oversized aquarium where school kids are viewing through the glass, one of them is Inside Out’s very own Riley Anderson.

I loved Finding Dory! it was nice to see her get some major character development especially because she reunited with her parents!!
I really like Finding Dory! The emotions from this film hit me hard every time, especially when Dory reunited with her parents.🥹 Honestly, one of my favorite Pixar sequels. Thanks a lot for covering this film, Nick!🙂
Fun fact: One of those Sea Lions is voiced by Idris Elba, A.K.A. Heimdall from the Thor movies.
They are just 3d models
Was she the girl looking at Dory from behind the glass? I need to see this
Not the most prominent one, but one WAY in the back. You’ll probably need to watch it in slow motion in order to see it.
Nick I’ve had a bad day with work and when I watched this I just love your positive vibes in your videos. It brightens up my day.
Fun fact! Certain types of Fish can survive without water for hours at a time. Such as common Bass fish or Perch for example.. if you catch one (like I did when I was little) you can leave it out of the water for around 4 hours before it actually dies, they tend to go limp after 2 hours but they are still breathing
I rlly like the movie. I also agree with the flashbacks being my favorite, dory looked so adorable as a kid.
"BASICALLY THE FIRST TIME"
Love the honesty 😂😂
Hank escaping from his enclosure is actually based on true stories of octopi escaping from their tanks in aquariums. They're extremely intelligent creatures.
Omg i love Finding Dory. Little Dory is so cute.
And dont worry if there is a delay on any of your reaction videos. Those who love your reactions will wait for them.
The animators decided to make Hank a septopus after realizing they couldn't fit eight tentacles onto his body, and by then it was too late to go back and resize everything. They tweaked his backstory to account for the missing limb.
I really love Pixar's Finding Dory (2016) a sequel film of Pixar's Finding Nemo franchise. It's a good movie.
46:12 If that ain't the most genuine look of happiness in the world, I don't know what is🥰🤩
I remember when I went to go see this in theaters, the film actually glitched and cut out at the part where Dory was lost in the pipes. 😰 It came back on shortly afterwards but MAN. CERTIFIED STRESS.
Wow, that must’ve sucked. Never happened to me in my movie theater experiences.
Man, I used to cry a lot watching this as a kid, I say this a lot but this is also my fav movie! Also, how are you Nick? Hope ye doing swell!
Doing a lot better recently!! Hope you are as well!
@@nickflix8657 That's lovely to hear! I'm doing well too. Wish ya a good life
Dory is so cute when she was little
Dory’s flashbacks are amazing and she’s so cute as a baby, she can just melt everyone’s hearts! 😍😍😍
When she's a baby fish and she says“Mommy can I go play with them ?“ is the cutest 🤣
My question is how did Dory, a fish from a California aquarium, end up all the way across the ocean at the Great Barrier Reef?
The Movie Touches Your Heart Strings 😢
I liked finding Nemo it was cute, but this one was better than the first one I thought, I loved finding Dory.
The thumbnail alone made my day!
The movie had one controversial scene that involved a Same sex couple holding hands and kissing that had to be trimmed after test audiences reacted to with a negative response.
This was the first Pixar movie to be snubbed at the Oscars and Golden Globes.
Finding Nemo & Finding Dory are absolutely elite❤ i honestly cry every time i watch it😢😢
Hey everyone!! ❤
Dory would be the perfect movie reactor: she always will be watching a movie for the 1st time.
31:36 - And THAT is why you always have a worker there to actually monitor the kids. 8);;
Nick: I’m terrified of the ocean
also Nick: I’m so excited to see this water
Fun fact : Alexander Gould who voiced Nemo in the first movie voices the male truck driver at the end

This is great! I loved rewatching this movie with you! ❤ I actually saw the movie from a different perspective than I did the first time I saw it and it was amazing!
you could watch it again this Saturday on ABC. (if you want)
Fun fact whale sharks don't eat fish. The eat plankton.
I like your attitude. I'm all about honesty as well. Good job, bro.
This movie makes me bawl like a freaking baby no matter how many times I see it!!
Love your videos! I've been binge watching all day!
I love finding nemo more but finding dory was really good when she finds her parts I was nearly in tears x you should do Beauty and The Beast next the animated and the live action x :)
But I love those theories, and absolutely, a movie about him would be amazing!
I like all your reactions. You're very openly expressive and it's great.
I recommend Quest for Camelot 1998 ,Lost in Space 1998 , The Terminator 1984, Terminator 2 Judgement Day
1991, Terminator Rise of the Machines 2003 , The Pianist 2002 Jurassic Park III 2001 War Horse 2011, Interview with the Vampire 1994, Small Soilders 1998, Schinders List 1993 Antz 1998.
Great reaction! I’m so glad you enjoyed the sequel! Dory is one of my favorite characters and I love how we got to learn more about her. Also I cannot wait to see your reaction to Hook! 🐠
As far as I could remember, the last time I cried on a movie was Finding Dory. Hahaha. Keep it up, Nick! Huge fan!!! ❤
I remember watching this on theaters, I really enjoyed this movie
Finding Dory is wholesome + hilarious + rather emotional, so it's the perfect Pixar movie!
A Long Way Down (2014) is an underrated film, you should see it :)
