I simply ask them who are close to God to pray for me as I ask my brothers and sisters in Christ here on earth to pray for me. I don’t put Mary above God. All prayers to angels and saints are all just ways of asking for them to pray for us to Christ. It says in Holy Scripture “James 5:16. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” It’s clearly saying that the prayers of righteous person will avail to bring us closer to God, and how much closer to someone who is righteous can you get than Mary, mother of Christ or Saints?

I have been on both sides of that fence -- 36 years Protestant and now 3 years Catholic. I will tell you this much: if faithful Catholics are not going to heaven, then nobody is! For theirs is the original Christianity, the sacraments, the call to cooperate with Christ's grace, the teachings of the Apostles and Saints, etc., etc. The first 1500 years of Christianity were Catholic and closely-related Orthodox -- there was NO Protestantism, and all Protestantism comes out of Catholicism. But yes, even the Catholic Church teaches that there will be some Protestants who will make it to heaven as well. As with the Catholics who make it, they will be the Christians who lived sincere, obedient, and faithful lives with a clear conscience before God -- ONLY. Because insincerity, hypocrisy, and lukewarmness happen on both sides, and those people are NOT likely to make it! This is very biblical.

Why does evil exist (and how can it be fixed), how is the whole "Jesus dying" thing really relevant to anything? To you? let me know if you have any questions. First, what is evil? Well, the Bible calls it the breaking of God's laws - and God intends for this world to be perfect in every way. Every one of us have lied, stolen (even tiny things count), spoken badly to our parents and had embarrassing thoughts in our thought life. The Bible calls this "sin", the breaking of God's laws. You might think, so what? Everyone lies and thinks bad things about others! Its human! You're right. That's exactly what the Bible says, we're "born into sin" and that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23 Notice something? God's intent for us APPEARS to be the exact OPPOSITE of human nature and desires! God's standard for us is perfection, so if we were made in "God's image", Why don't we meet it then? . Well, Remember Adam and Eve and when they sinned. Before sin they were perfect in thought word and DEED completely, just as God intended, and they had a perfect relationship with Him. ALL was perfect in every way. But after the first sin occured due to Satan's tempting in the Garden, it destroyed that part of us that was morally perfect and in harmony with God. Satan took over these things and so while we kept certain things, the ability to be thinking individuals with unique personalities, the moral part (affecting how our thoughts, actions and personalities operate) was damaged, making those same standards now seem unreasonable and impossible and opposite. The Bible says "apart from God we can do nothing". Without Him, it will 100% feel "opposite" and alien to us. Only WITH Him can we gain victory in these things. Why doesn't God just let sin off and leave it? The Bible describes God as a "righteous judge", many wonder why God doesn't just let sin off and leave it, but He can't. Why? That's like a if a judge let off a murderer who broke the state law. Everyone would call Him corrupt, saying that he had not done right and that the judge should be fired for failing to punish the murderer for his evil. AND to completely love and be good as God is, means you need to, in turn, hate all forms of evil. You can't truly love good unless you hate the existence of evil. This means that God needed, as a righteous judge to punish sin with the ultimate penalty of death - expressing His hatred of evil - and separation from His presence forever. "The soul that sins shall die" - Ezekiel 18:20 BUT God, who is also perfect love, did not want to see His creation tortured and cut off from Him. He cares so much for is that He couldn't bear to see us fall into Satans hands and suffer death in Hell. Because of justice, God could not leave sin and evil unpunished, BUT because of LOVE, God provided someone else to take that punishment on our behalf, satisfying both justice (by punishing the evil committed), and love (by sparing OUR lives) despite our sin. God sent His own SON - think about that. His *Son*, the one whom He loved infinitely (the same way He loves us) to do it in our place. God allowed Him to take ALL of Gods wrath for every single sin you and I have committed. He was punished brutally and completely so that we do not have to be punished. Back in the courtroom scenario: He paid the "fine" at His own expense (His life had to be morally perfect on this Earth, then He had to be killed as a sinless sacrifice on our behalf). So when He returns to remove all evil from the face of the Earth, we can be spared because Christ has already BEEN punished on our behalf. He then rose again on the third day, conquering not only life and sin and temptation, but DEATH. GOD HAS POWER OVER DEATH. "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live" - John 11:25,26 Religion = rules to be saved The gospel = Christ saved us already we just have to believe it by faith alone in Christ alone. If you lack faith (as I did before), pray. He will make it strong in time. Trust Him as you would trust those close to you. He created you and knows you inside out. Not only that but we can be restored to Him and recreated into His moral image AGAIN as long as we accept Jesus having paid the price for us and accept Him as our Lord, the one who is in the front seat of our lives. He has a plan for your life, He's created you for a purpose. A purpose that includes being recreated into His image, one you can only accomplish through Him and reliance on His power and by following HIS way of life. It entails love, true love and service and aid to others, to "love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength" and "love your neighbour as you love yourself" Matthew 22:37, 39. Sharing the message of Christ's death, resurrection and soon return on this Earth to give justice OR mercy depending on what the person chose. This is NOT something we can do alone. It's not in our nature. We need a new nature in the front seat, and the first step is to repent (turn from and reject our sin, pursuing the opposite direction and drawing close to God). Christ will give us an actual DESIRE to do these things. Through the Holy Spirit, sent by Him after the ascension. He speaks to us through thoughts of love and truth and conviction, verses, ideas, prayers and He guides us so that we gain a desire to follow God and be able to do these "opposite" things through Him. "With man it is impossible, but with God, NOTHING is impossible!" - Matthew 19:26 He will help you to walk a path of commitment and love - its not rules and regulations to save us - what Christ did gave us salvation. But the fruits of the Spirit and the will to obey and follow Him come from true, maturing faith. Its a lifelong process of God bringing you back to Him and away from the destructive pleasures of sin. This process takes a *lifetime*, but NEVER give up, when you fall, know Christ paid for that sin already - just acknowledge your sin and ask for forgiveness - and you can get back up again because He already bore your guilt and shame. Regardless of what it is God can turn it around. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that whomever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life" - John 3:16 Thanks for reading if you did. Matthew 21-23 speaks of men who declared themselves righteous and boasted those works as their own when indeed their heart lacked faith. Its a warning and reminder that any works done through faith are not those of your own but those of God. No works of true faith are produced by yourself, but by the Holy Spirit guiding your heart, soul and mind. Therefore any works you do will not count even for a second when it comes time of judgement, because those were not of your own. Only your true faith determines salvation. It is true many misunderstand doctrine/scripture, and it’s on us to guide them to the truth, not by sowing division and encouraging one to leave a church for another, but to lead each other into truth and to keep guiding those around us to true and sole faith in Christ. The only sacrifice that can save you was the one that Christ made on that cross.

Catholics don’t only use the age of the Catholic Church to prove its criteria, it uses historical evidence to prove the Church Jesus founded is Catholic and its by practices and Sacred Traditions. The Church at her infancy will continue to develop through the revelation she has received from Christ. It is true that many believers did go astray and turned to heresy, but it doesn’t follow that the Church herself had gone astray or heretical. Jesus has promised that the gates of Hell will not prevail against His Church (Matthew 16:18), He will always be with his Church (Matthew 28:20) and since Jesus himself is the truth (John 14:6) and sends us the Spirit of truth (John 16:13) which guides the Church as she is the bulwark and truth (1 Tim 3:15). To go even further more in Ephesians 1:20-23, “ which he accomplished in Christ when he raised him from the dead and made him sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come; 22 and he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church, 23 which is his body, the fulness of him who fills all in all.” The Church of Jesus Christ is the fullness of Christ which demonstrates that the Church is not only the defender and upholder of truth but the fullness of the truth. The question is, can the fullness of truth degenerate? No, because we trust in His promise, Ephesians 3:21-“to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.” The oldest Church must be the Church that Jesus founded that is faithful to his teachings. So, how can different churches be the true church of Christ? It’s not only contradicting Christ establishing just one Church, but it’s illogical to believe that different churches can proclaim to be the true Church of Christ.

As a catholic, this is super well said. People put too much into being this or that denomination, and though I would not want to be any denomination other than catholic, at the end of the day, we are all followers of Christ and all of our denominations have some controversy associated with them, however that doesn't mean the entire denomination does not worship and love God just like other denominations. (just realized how many times I said denomination💀)

I have found a deeper meaning and more connected than ever to our Risen Lord. Happy Easter family! All Christian organizations have issues everyone because they are run by men/women and we are all sinners. Sad but true. I am a follower of Jesus and glad to be.

I was born in a catholic family.A quiet one rather,and when I told some friends,they went”so your not Christian”and “you worship a saint,and you don’t believe Jesus is God?” I lost two friends because they were baptists and did not listen to me.Hopefully many people can hear this and understand!
The one thing that I find disturbing is to say that the "organization" promotes things against what the bible says. I don't find that to be true at all. The reason I am Catholic is because that is where my understanding of the Bible led me to.
Why doubt? If a Catholic is not Christian, then who else in the world is Christian? Throughout history and throughout centuries, it has been the Holy Catholic Church that is faithful to Christ and His teachings. But I know God wants all People to come unto Him , and so don't let any church be your parent , but put God as your head and subject all authority unto God's principles . Authority given by God is only 'of' God if they are are 'servants' of God first . Look for the servant heart of the Lord in others before you give them Any Authority over you in the church, and confess your sins to God before you confess them to man , because we first sin against God , but we are commanded to keep confess also to our fellow man , so we keep honest accountability with them . Actually they didn't. the Catholic church isn't God and they also didn't want everyone to read the Bible in English so they definitely aren't the reason we have the bible. God Almighty is the reason we have the bible, the bible was written by God through man ( whom were followers of the way, not Catholics), The bible is the infallible incorruptible inerrant word of God that He Himself wrote through man ( 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:19-21). God also used men such as William Tyndale, John Wycliffe, martin Luther, and others to translate His words in English so we all can read His words but the Catholic church did kill most of them but God won they couldn't stop God's will. the bible we have today has much bloodshed because those men of God thought the bible was more important for us to have rather than to die without God's words. learn real history, watch a lamp in the dark and you'll learn real truth. I love his non-judgemental approach to Catholics where a lot of Protestants get wrong on. We are Christian’s, actually the first ones. That’s important bc Christ established only 1 church and to receive His word, true grace & salvation. The Catholic Church is the one church that has remained faithful, the same and firm. Created by Jesus Christ himself unlike the Protestant Reformation like Martin Luther, Calvin, etc. Our church teachings follow the Bible more than any other Protestant church “Christian” does like in John 6:47-69, we MUST eat Jesus Flesh in order to have life and we are the only church that does that and has done that since 33 AD. Moreover, The Virgin Mary is not a goddess. Only the perfect intercessor to the perfect Mediator which is Christ. History has shown time and time again that is true. Also the Catholic Church put together the Bible in the year 300 before ANY Protestant doctrine or church existed. So yea just being a catholic won’t get you into Heaven. And maybe Gods Mercy is to other people. But it is the only church that teaches you the whole truth to live Heaven here on Earth and get there.

Salvation isn't guaranteed period because only God can be the judge of that. The church teaches without works our faith is dead meaning we have to enter into the new covenant as Jesus commands us. Through baptism and confession and so on. Those are all works.
Actually the question should be: Can non Catholics enter heaven? If you are outside the Church, which is Roman Catholicism, then you are practicing heresy and therefore condemned into eternal damnation.

@Flow-1174no we don’t. We do not pray to Mary or the saints. Mary and the saints are in heaven with God ( a saint is a person who confirmed their life to Christ on earth and has died and gone to heaven) so we ask the saints and mary to intercede in our prays. We basically ask them to pray for us like you might ask a friend. I go to a Catholic school and at the end of the day we have our pray and we always say Saint Pierre Georgio pray for us.

The whole "Jesus founded the catholic church" is a house of cards since it is foundationally rooted in the whole fallicy of the "Peter was the first pope". The Old and New Testaments clearly says that the Christ is the ROCK. Even Peter declares Jesus is the ROCK. And . . . Matthew 16:17-18 - _"Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, _*_for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven._*_ And I also say to you that you are Peter, and _*_on this rock I will build My church,_*_ and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it."_ This is the very same thing that Jesus repeats, and repeats, and repeats, and repeats, over and over again. _ _ _ _ _ Soooo many catholics say . . The CC declares it to be an earthly organization. That notion is LITERALLY NOWHERE in the Bible. The Church of Jesus has always been a spiritual entity. Can you help me with some evidence for the papacy? I know the whole Peter is the rock argument but when you look into it, there’s no historical or biblical evidence that Peter was ever bishop or pope of rome, if I’m gonna follow tradition instead of the Bible I just would like some clear evidence, maybe you can help with the evidence for the papacy that converted you?
@miguel Pentecostal just means Pentecost which was how they had the first church in Acts. You follow man, I follow the word of God. There’s catholic doctrines outside the Bible and if I’m going to believe something outside the Bible then there should be decent evidence. There’s no historical evidence of Peter ever being bishop of rome and even then, Peter successor or an angel from heaven can’t bring a different doctrine different than what’s already been established in the Bible.(Galatians 1:8)

We can not stand before Him daily knowing that we did not speak His truth in the presence of religious fallicy that could send someone to eternal damnation. That is not love. Catholicism is not a denomination. It is the original part of Christianity. Catholics are technically the only type of Christians that can get in heaven. They are the true church that Jesus made and handed down to Peter. Follow Catholicism

I was raised in a Christian church and left, deciding to pursue my faith with got and not the religion I was practicing. I feel much much better, and want to find a PROPER establishment to help me learn the words of the Lord, not words twisted by flesh. I almost find the Pope and a lot of Christian leaders, irrelevant or redundant, because of a lot of their self absorption in their power and leverage, the pope and pastors and priests can bend. I’m afraid that’s not so, or at least I don’t believe it so. It can be as simple as the 10 Commandments, worship God on Sabbath. We should all adhere to the same practices as Christ, yes? I couldn’t pray to a saint, it would be blasphemy to do so. Keep in mind that Jewish calendar and at the very least acknowledge the Jewish holidays and their meanings.

I am a retired RN and I sit now with a Catholic lady in her 80's. She is a wonderful Christian. She prays for me and my children and I love knowing she is praying for us. She loves for me to sing songs from a Protestant hymnal that she has never heard.

All prayers to angels and saints are all just ways of asking for them to pray for us to Christ. I will tell you this much: if faithful Catholics are not going to heaven, then nobody is! For theirs is the original Christianity, the sacraments, the call to cooperate with Christ's grace, the teachings of the Apostles and Saints, etc., etc. The first 1500 years of Christianity were Catholic and closely-related Orthodox -- there was NO Protestantism, and all Protestantism comes out of Catholicism.
But yes, even the Catholic Church teaches that there will be some Protestants who will make it to heaven as well. As with the Catholics who make it, they will be the Christians who lived sincere, obedient, and faithful lives with a clear conscience before God -- ONLY. Because insincerity, hypocrisy, and lukewarmness happen on both sides, and those people are NOT likely to make it! This is very biblical.

Why does evil exist (and how can it be fixed), how is the whole "Jesus dying" thing really relevant to anything? To you? let me know if you have any questions.
First, what is evil? Well, the Bible calls it the breaking of God's laws - and God intends for this world to be perfect in every way.
Every one of us have lied, stolen (even tiny things count), spoken badly to our parents and had embarrassing thoughts in our thought life. The Bible calls this "sin", the breaking of God's laws. You might think, so what? Everyone lies and thinks bad things about others! Its human!
You're right. That's exactly what the Bible says, we're "born into sin" and that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23
Notice something?
God's intent for us APPEARS to be the exact OPPOSITE of human nature and desires!
God's standard for us is perfection, so if we were made in "God's image", Why don't we meet it then? .
Well, Remember Adam and Eve and when they sinned. Before sin they were perfect in thought word and DEED completely, just as God intended, and they had a perfect relationship with Him. ALL was perfect in every way.
But after the first sin occured due to Satan's tempting in the Garden, it destroyed that part of us that was morally perfect and in harmony with God. Satan took over these things and so while we kept certain things, the ability to be thinking individuals with unique personalities, the moral part (affecting how our thoughts, actions and personalities operate) was damaged, making those same standards now seem unreasonable and impossible and opposite. The Bible says "apart from God we can do nothing". Without Him, it will 100% feel "opposite" and alien to us. Only WITH Him can we gain victory in these things.
Why doesn't God just let sin off and leave it?
The Bible describes God as a "righteous judge", many wonder why God doesn't just let sin off and leave it, but He can't. Why? That's like a if a judge let off a
murderer who broke the state law. Everyone would call Him corrupt, saying that he had not done right and that the judge should be fired for failing to punish the murderer for his evil. AND to completely love and be good as God is, means you need to, in turn, hate all forms of evil. You can't truly love good unless you hate the existence of evil.
This means that God needed, as a righteous judge to punish sin with the ultimate penalty of death - expressing His hatred of evil - and separation from His presence forever.
"The soul that sins shall die" - Ezekiel 18:20
BUT God, who is also perfect love, did not want to see His creation tortured and cut off from Him. He cares so much for is that He couldn't bear to see us fall into Satans hands and suffer death in Hell.
Because of justice, God could not leave sin and evil unpunished, BUT because of LOVE, God provided someone else to take that punishment on our behalf, satisfying both justice (by punishing the evil committed), and love (by sparing OUR lives) despite our sin.
God sent His own SON - think about that. His *Son*, the one whom He loved infinitely (the same way He loves us) to do it in our place.
God allowed Him to take ALL of Gods wrath for every single sin you and I have committed. He was punished brutally and completely so that we do not have to be punished.
Back in the courtroom scenario: He paid the "fine" at His own expense (His life had to be morally perfect on this Earth, then He had to be killed as a sinless sacrifice on our behalf).
So when He returns to remove all evil from the face of the Earth, we can be spared because Christ has already BEEN punished on our behalf. He then rose again on the third day, conquering not only life and sin and temptation, but DEATH.
GOD HAS POWER OVER DEATH.
"I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live" - John 11:25,26
Religion = rules to be saved
The gospel = Christ saved us already we just have to believe it by faith alone in Christ alone. If you lack faith (as I did before), pray. He will make it strong in time. Trust Him as you would trust those close to you. He created you and knows you inside out.
Not only that but we can be restored to Him and recreated into His moral image AGAIN as long as we accept Jesus having paid the price for us and accept Him as our Lord, the one who is in the front seat of our lives. He has a plan for your life, He's created you for a purpose. A purpose that includes being recreated into His image, one you can only accomplish through Him and reliance on His power and by following HIS way of life.
It entails love, true love and service and aid to others, to "love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength" and "love your neighbour as you love yourself" Matthew 22:37, 39.
Sharing the message of Christ's death, resurrection and soon return on this Earth to give justice OR mercy depending on what the person chose.
This is NOT something we can do alone. It's not in our nature.
We need a new nature in the front seat, and the first step is to repent (turn from and reject our sin, pursuing the opposite direction and drawing close to God).
Christ will give us an actual DESIRE to do these things. Through the Holy Spirit, sent by Him after the ascension. He speaks to us through thoughts of love and truth and conviction, verses, ideas, prayers and He guides us so that we gain a desire to follow God and be able to do these "opposite" things through Him.
"With man it is impossible, but with God, NOTHING is impossible!" - Matthew 19:26
He will help you to walk a path of commitment and love - its not rules and regulations to save us - what Christ did gave us salvation. But the fruits of the Spirit and the will to obey and follow Him come from true, maturing faith.
Its a lifelong process of God bringing you back to Him and away from the destructive pleasures of sin. This process takes a *lifetime*, but NEVER give up, when you fall, know Christ paid for that sin already - just acknowledge your sin and ask for forgiveness - and you can get back up again because He already bore your guilt and shame. Regardless of what it is God can turn it around.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that whomever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life" - John 3:16

Matthew 21-23 speaks of men who declared themselves righteous and boasted those works as their own when indeed their heart lacked faith. Its a warning and reminder that any works done through faith are not those of your own but those of God. No works of true faith are produced by yourself, but by the Holy Spirit guiding your heart, soul and mind. Therefore any works you do will not count even for a second when it comes time of judgement, because those were not of your own. Only your true faith determines salvation.
It is true many misunderstand doctrine/scripture, and it’s on us to guide them to the truth, not by sowing division and encouraging one to leave a church for another, but to lead each other into truth and to keep guiding those around us to true and sole faith in Christ. The only sacrifice that can save you was the one that Christ made on that cross.

Who in the Church is infallible? The Pope and Bishops when they act in union with the Pope. How do we know that the Church faithfully preserves God's Revelation? Because Jesus promised that this would be the case.
the Church can trace its roots back to the times of the apostles but then follows up with the age of the church is not the criteria to identify the true “churches” of Christ. Catholics don’t only use the age of the Catholic Church to prove its criteria, it uses historical evidence to prove the Church Jesus founded is Catholic and its by practices and Sacred Traditions. The Church at her infancy will continue to develop through the revelation she has received from Christ. It is true that many believers did go astray and turned to heresy, but it doesn’t follow that the Church herself had gone astray or heretical. Jesus has promised that the gates of Hell will not prevail against His Church (Matthew 16:18), He will always be with his Church (Matthew 28:20) and since Jesus himself is the truth (John 14:6) and sends us the Spirit of truth (John 16:13) which guides the Church as she is the bulwark and truth (1 Tim 3:15). To go even further more in Ephesians 1:20-23, “ which he accomplished in Christ when he raised him from the dead and made him sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come; 22 and he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church, 23 which is his body, the fulness of him who fills all in all.” The Church of Jesus Christ is the fullness of Christ which demonstrates that the Church is not only the defender and upholder of truth but the fullness of the truth. The question is, can the fullness of truth degenerate? No, because we trust in His promise, Ephesians 3:21-“to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.” The oldest Church must be the Church that Jesus founded that is faithful to his teachings. So, how can different churches be the true church of Christ? It’s not only contradicting Christ establishing just one Church, but it’s illogical to believe that different churches can proclaim to be the true Church of Christ.

As a catholic, this is super well said. People put too much into being this or that denomination, and though I would not want to be any denomination other than catholic, at the end of the day, we are all followers of Christ and all of our denominations have some controversy associated with them, however that doesn't mean the entire denomination does not worship and love God just like other denominations. (just realized how many times I said denomination💀)

The one thing that I find disturbing is to say that the "organization" promotes things against what the bible says. I don't find that to be true at all. The reason I am Catholic is because that is where my understanding of the Bible led me to.
Why doubt? If a Catholic is not Christian, then who else in the world is Christian? Throughout history and throughout centuries, it has been the Holy Catholic Church that is faithful to Christ and His teachings. Terrible things have happened in the name of Catholicism throughout history . If you put a church 'above' the calling of God in your life ,then you are NOT a Christian believer , but a church believer . Gods church has NO denominational bounds ,because denominations cannot define God .
God wants your heart first , not what's in your head , but your mind needs to be renewed continually . Denominations most often try to define God in man's terms , and can use religious affiliation to control or co-urs people . What's not of God is of Satin . We are directed to be in fellowship with other believers , and this should be with Christ followers , not people who see themselves of higher authority , but who's hearts are set on humility in service to God's people .
No man should call his brother in Christ 'Father' ,and no sister in Christ 'mother' . This is just one of the biblical principles the Catholic church chooses to ignore , but there are many many more . But I know God wants all People to come unto Him , and so don't let any church be your parent , but put God as your head and subject all authority unto God's principles . Authority given by God is only 'of' God if they are are 'servants' of God first . Look for the servant heart of the Lord in others before you give them Any Authority over you in the church, and confess your sins to God before you confess them to man , because we first sin against God , but we are commanded to keep confess also to our fellow man , so we keep honest accountability with them . If you wrong a person then confess to them , not someone you wrongly call father .

Actually they didn't. the Catholic church isn't God and they also didn't want everyone to read the Bible in English so they definitely aren't the reason we have the bible. God Almighty is the reason we have the bible, the bible was written by God through man ( whom were followers of the way, not Catholics), The bible is the infallible incorruptible inerrant word of God that He Himself wrote through man ( 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:19-21). God also used men such as William Tyndale, John Wycliffe, martin Luther, and others to translate His words in English so we all can read His words but the Catholic church did kill most of them but God won they couldn't stop God's will. the bible we have today has much bloodshed because those men of God thought the bible was more important for us to have rather than to die without God's words. learn real history, watch a lamp in the dark and you'll learn real truth. We are Christian’s, actually the first ones. That’s important bc Christ established only 1 church and to receive His word, true grace & salvation. The Catholic Church is the one church that has remained faithful, the same and firm. Created by Jesus Christ himself unlike the Protestant Reformation like Martin Luther, Calvin, etc. Our church teachings follow the Bible more than any other Protestant church “Christian” does like in John 6:47-69, we MUST eat Jesus Flesh in order to have life and we are the only church that does that and has done that since 33 AD. Moreover, The Virgin Mary is not a goddess. Only the perfect intercessor to the perfect Mediator which is Christ. History has shown time and time again that is true. Also the Catholic Church put together the Bible in the year 300 before ANY Protestant doctrine or church existed.
So yea just being a catholic won’t get you into Heaven. And maybe Gods Mercy is to other people. But it is the only church that teaches you the whole truth to live Heaven here on Earth and get there.

4. You clearly are just listening to your pastor. Search up the early Christian’s tradition of the Eucharist and the early church father’s traditions and beliefs. Look at John 6:47-69 it’s the Eucharist that is then fulfilled in the Last Supper.

Salvation isn't guaranteed period because only God can be the judge of that. The church teaches without works our faith is dead meaning we have to enter into the new covenant as Jesus commands us. Through baptism and confession and so on. Those are all works.
Actually the question should be: Can non Catholics enter heaven? If you are outside the Church, which is Roman Catholicism, then you are practicing heresy and therefore condemned into eternal damnation.

Mary and the saints are in heaven with God ( a saint is a person who confirmed their life to Christ on earth and has died and gone to heaven) so we ask the saints and mary to intercede in our prays. We basically ask them to pray for us like you might ask a friend. I go to a Catholic school and at the end of the day we have our pray and we always say Saint Pierre Georgio pray for us.

From this statement, it is clear that Christ instituted a Church. In the Acts of the Apostles, it is all about the founding of the Church. The REAL QUESTION you should be asking yourself is what is the biblical definition of His "church".
The CC declares it to be an earthly organization. That notion is LITERALLY NOWHERE in the Bible. The Church of Jesus has always been a spiritual entity.

I know the whole Peter is the rock argument but when you look into it, there’s no historical or biblical evidence that Peter was ever bishop or pope of rome, if I’m gonna follow tradition instead of the Bible I just would like some clear evidence, maybe you can help with the evidence for the papacy that converted you?

@miguel Pentecostal just means Pentecost which was how they had the first church in Acts. You follow man, I follow the word of God. There’s catholic doctrines outside the Bible and if I’m going to believe something outside the Bible then there should be decent evidence. There’s no historical evidence of Peter ever being bishop of rome and even then, Peter successor or an angel from heaven can’t bring a different doctrine different than what’s already been established in the Bible.(Galatians 1:8)

We can not stand before Him daily knowing that we did not speak His truth in the presence of religious fallicy that could send someone to eternal damnation. That is not love. If Truth wounds your heart to hear, you need to find out why. The best place is at His feet, and His ALONE.

Catholicism is not a denomination. It is the original part of Christianity. Catholics are technically the only type of Christians that can get in heaven. They are the true church that Jesus made and handed down to Peter. Follow Catholicism

I was raised in a Christian church and left, deciding to pursue my faith with got and not the religion I was practicing. I feel much much better, and want to find a PROPER establishment to help me learn the words of the Lord, not words twisted by flesh. I almost find the Pope and a lot of Christian leaders, irrelevant or redundant, because of a lot of their self absorption in their power and leverage, the pope and pastors and priests can bend. The Lord’s values and mind is grounded and will never change. Can someone please convince me or explain to me why it could be beneficial to seek the church again? I’m afraid that’s not so, or at least I don’t believe it so. It can be as simple as the 10 Commandments, worship God on Sabbath. We should all adhere to the same practices as Christ, yes? I am a retired RN and I sit now with a Catholic lady in her 80's. She is a wonderful Christian. She prays for me and my children and I love knowing she is praying for us. She loves for me to sing songs from a Protestant hymnal that she has never heard.
