I didn’t think watching a couch talk about an RS3 would be convincing. I agree with the couch.

Totally agree with your points! I picked up a super fresh 2020 sportback with only 4000k's on it a year ago. Now it's a 10sec stage 2 flex/e85 car but super subtle, almost sleeper spec, and will destroy almost anything on the street. No regrets!

I am more than happy with my TTRS 2018 / mk3 for over 4 years and never gets boring.

I have the new one (8Y). Massive improvement over the old (8V) version I owned.

Lost my 8V S3 a few months ago. On the order waitlist for the 2025 RS3 waiting for a build slot. Est Delivery : end of 2025 . Canada hasn't had an RS3 since 2018.

I have an '18 with Stg 1 Uni, BMC drop in, Uni 3" turbo inlet and intercooler, HR springs and Neuspeed RSe11R bronze wheels. The only thing I do not like is Audi stopping support for google earth in the digital cockpit. over 40k miles and zero issues. But that loss of support pissed me off!

Terrific honest review. I have a new one on order so excited! What's your opinion concerning PPF and ceramic coating on the RS3? thanks alot I'm subscribing.

That's awesome man! Thanks for watching. I would for sure protect your investment with PPF and ceramic from day 1. Although my RS3 was used and well maintained it did have quite a few rock chips on the hood. There's no fix for that other than to sand down and re spray which is what I had a professional body shop do. Well worth the money to keep the car protected. There are some newer PPf films I've seen that already have ceramic as well so you might want to get some quotes on full front PPF 😉

About 3 months in ownership on my 19 a3 S-line , I drove my buddies 17 rs3 & loved it just a little out of the budget for the time.. just ordered a EQT tune but everyone keeps saying I should get a down pipe for stage 2 is it truly needed?

sounds like a fun build, yes the RS3 certainly has a unique driving experience. I would suggest starting with their stage 1 and see how that goes first. Downpipes have become more hassle than their worth nowadays with inspection. Its a pain on the 2.0T MQB cars to install but on the RS3 we're talking an 8 hour install + alignment. lol
