I'll be glad when this is over.
I will be so Bored when this is over. There will not be anything fun to look forward to.
Stop it Orlovsky this is the same guy that didn't have Joe Montana in his top 5 for best Quarterbacks of all time!!!!
Best and greatest are two different things. You can’t argue if he’s a top 5 greatest.. but you can argue top 5 best
@@darnellclemm135 ???????????
I love how stories are created. There isn't a scenario where Caleb doesn't go number one (absent of some new off the field information). The only question is whether or not it's the Bears making the pick or not.
Crazier has happened
So do I. The fun part, though, is watching the media's reaction when a certain storyline or narrative doesn't go their way.
That’s how stocks work. If the consensus believes this is most valuable, that’s what’s most valuable. Doesn’t mean it’s the best option to everyone.
Dan was glowing over Bryce Young last year. I would take his evaluation with a grain of salt to say the least.
He said fields would play at an mvo level also lol if he was right this whole segment is different lol
Patrick Mahomes on the Panthers wouldn’t have won 5 games last year
@@vickiwampler9823 Last year they were saying Houston is the worst situation for a young QB. Having a good QB covers up a lot of deficiencies.
Everybody said that about young, Dan actually said the bears should keep fields over him
@@vickiwampler9823yea right. Mahomes would win atleast 8 games
Daniels was surrounded by 2 - 1st RD Wide Receivers.
So what
@@kevindukes8185So they created more separation and allowed him to just toss it up.
So did Fields but they seem to love him
So Was Burrow and Stroud. Brian Thomas wasn't considered a 1st round wr last year, Daniels helped elevate him to that level.
I feel like Jayden Daniels is just a smaller Fields. It'd be a downgrade. I don't know if the bears should move on from Fields but the only one they should risk it on if at all is Caleb Williams. Daniels could end up good, even great but to me he has the same potential as Fields did so it'd be silly to waste a pick on him.
I can't remember a time when a mid QB got so much praise as if he's Mahomes a poor man's Lamar. Bears should ABSOLUTELY move on from Fields.
Smaller Lamar
It would be smart for the bears to get a fresh start at qb no matter what qb they choose , they would have to pay fields really soon and Chicago won’t be good for a while .
Daniels is a Lamar 101 his up side is better than Justin Fields
Daniels was surrounded by NFL receivers wheras Caleb had absolutely nothing to work with.
If Bears draft Daniels star WR, how much will it help? (Suffering Bears fan and struggling USC Alum here)
Dan said fields would play at an mvp level.
No he didn’t. He said he had the potential too once they acquired Moore. He never said he would.
@@Tpplatt3he literally did as did greeny kimblery Martin and half the people at get up
@@bigda6407he literally didn’t. “He had the chance to” is not “he will”. Listening comprehension isn’t supposed to be this hard.
th-cam.com/video/YtbW4UFKitU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=khv39Co87BcM6lRh
@@Tpplatt3he did. Early on. I remember saying why put that on him. Pat called him out on it also.
People are smoking some straight GAS when it comes to projecting Fields success. They all have lost their collective minds
Orlovsky is out of his mind. Williams is the best by far.
Prospect fatigue. Makes for good TV. Caleb is the best.
Dan O. Is on the commanders payroll, trying to get Williams to drop to 2 😂
😂
same reason why he was advocating for the Bears to keep Fields and trade the #1 pick a few weeks ago haha
If the bears are smart you take the 2 best WRs in the draft to add to your WR core lol the answers to the test is right there but I ain’t making no decisions
~ The most important question that is being completely ignored with regard to QB is, "How good can they be behind a Bad Offensive Line?" ~
Bo Nix is criminally underrated in this draft he's gonna be a steal after falling so far
If he's still around at #40 the Jets should grab him.& let him sit behind Rogers for a couple of years
must be a ducks fan. Go only throws the ball 5 yards downfield
I think bears should keep Justin but I watched Jayden Daniels games and think he will be better then Caleb when it's all said and done. Dude can throw the rock from the pocket!!!
I see Marvin Harrison Jr being selected by the bears over Caleb Williams
They’d trade back if that’s what they’re gonna do.
Bears should pair Fields with Marvin Harrison Jr
Dan we don’t believe you
Caleb is beyond a LOCK its in GRANITE he would be the 1st pick this year, last year, and the yr before that
Explain
Caleb Williams will be this years Bryce Young and Jayden Daniels will be CJ Stroud
Other way around especially if Daniels goes to the commanders
Fans are just looking for reasons to hate on Caleb because of his personality. But if you actually watch his highlights they are ridiculously good. He's like a sniper with his accuracy.
I've read his problems are timing on throws, similar to Fields. Everybody looks like a lock in college
@@Skorczman13
Caleb struggles to throw a receiver open which he'll have to learn to do but he is more accurate than Fields was at OSU. And Caleb had less talent to work with than Fields did. And if you're high on Maye, his strengths are he can make every throw, but Maye often holds onto the ball too long and will run himself into getting sacked. Maye also played in the weak ACC.
@@turtleislandlac1490 Really im not for any rookie qb. Dont think it takes the Bears to the playoffs, Flus will get fired, rookie ruined. I am not saying Fields is a top tier quarterback but I think the Bears can get so much capital and build this team to contend with a mediocre quarterback, and they'll still have the draft capital to fix that in the future. I just dont see any of these quarterbacks to be Mahomes/Burrow level elite, and if you look around the league those are the only two quarterbacks who dont need a totally stacked team to contend. Odds are these rookies are going to need a strong team to be an instant success
Not gonna lie her forehead is looking extra big today💀
You will still hit that ASAP
The bears need to draft Marvin jr and / or nabers or odunze
She'll never take K-Mart away from Kenyon Martin. No matter how much ESPN rams it down our throats!
Bears trade fields, trade #1. Poles roles with Daniels. Get a new qb while adding capital for next year. Caleb goes to Washington.
Michael pennix jr is going to be the best QB out of this class
this comment is highly underrated - everyone putting a spotlight on irrelevant QBs 2-3 years from now
I don't see it. Makes me feel better for the Broncos though if they could get him after trading back for more picks.
Dan is the king of hyperbolic hot takes
Dan orlovsky is so unserious 😂😂😂
Bears must trade down and fill many holes not just change QB with a DIVA
Hey Greeny don't disrespect Sid Luckman like that with your never got it right comment. Remember he did have the first 400 yard passing game in NFL history.
Nonsense. This is the media looking for storylines. Daniels was throwing to 2 of the top receivers in this draft and Caleb was the one throwing to wide open receivers? Which receiver from USC is going in round 1 or 2?
After listening to everyone’s opinion, there still seems a lot of questions to be answered with these 3 quarterbacks. I’ll stick with JF put a much better team around him and see how good he actually is. On a worse case basis if JF doesn’t work out, you have a much better team with all the draft capital and can use future accumulated draft picks in either 2025 or 2026 to get the next “generational” quarterback.
If Justin doesn’t work out there will be a new GM and coach picking the next quarterback.
You take mhj...and a center or tackle at 9
Daniels is still very young and athletic, he will eventually put on some weight as he gets older and his metabolism slows and matures.
Daniels also threw to Nabers & Thomas Jr while Maye was throwing to future forklift drivers
I’d be immeasurably depressed if the Bears took Jayden Daniels.
Daniels is peaceful in the pocket, yeah sure but look at the pocket - 4:02 I mean *look at that* it looks like a line of roman legion bodyguards, even Marcus Aeralius himself would feel comfortable standing in that pocket. They should let the other team ride on horses just to make it a fair contest.
No matter what quarterback they have they need to surround him with talent
i get frustrated every time i hear Kimberly trying to explain her points . she be all over the place lol
Of course he'd be excited! First pick is the most paid.
He decided not to play the Bowl game and his backup set a record . Does that sound like he's great or the system is good
Thank you for pointing that out, very important fact that stood out to me. That definitely looked bad for Caleb, so I’m not convinced he will be a sure fire choice at #1
I’ve been saying Jayden Daniels is better
I believe they shock everyone and take JD
Jayden and Caleb transferred and won the heisman idk how it’s not closer
4:45 I guarantee it was not October of this year.😂😂😂
Keep Justin, trade the number to the raiders, JD first QB off the board
Dont forget Dan said the Panthers should take Bryce. Hmmmm
Most did
People in the comments saying Jayden Daniel’s had two NFL WRs well one of them Malik is on Chicago draft board for 9th pick. Daniels with Malik & DJ Moore is going to be same in NFL.. big numbers!
As a packers fan I pray to my Holy God Caleb Williams doesn’t get drafted by the bears .. Not sold on Jlove yet in the playoffs
Nobody wants to play quarterback for the chicago bears
Stop bringing up the steelers like they didn’t come out and say kenny is there guy
Was waiting for when you would flip on us Dan and try saving face. Face it you’re always wrong 🤭
Glad Dan brought up Lamar. I been saying that the last two weeks...not sure why Lamar always got that pass for his size but it's such an issue with other guys. And I don't want to here about Lamar putting on weight recently, we are talking about coming out of college.
Dan does this for shock value...Caleb is #1, I don't need to be a scout to know that.
Kim said it’s okay guys lol
She's horrible
@@prolific1518yeah not great
She appears to have good credentials, but football knowledge and analysis, not so much.
Workout all the top QBs before you pick.
the bottom line is everyone at espn hates the chicago bears and now wants to steer them away from taking Caleb Williams because they now think he is good (?)
I dont think i would like being called Kmart.
I really like Dan O but hes so inconsistent. Daniels is todays topic. And its a new take as of today.
Mobility is no longer a plus?
Those clips of Jayden getting hit makes him damaged goods too me. I get what Dan is saying. But I can't forget about RGII getting hit. And you showed the bmore clip, what about the seahawks in the Playoffs clip?
What if he comes in under 6ft?
Jayden has the same build as Trevor lol
For me its either Williams or Daniels. God would i love Harrison tho for the Bears
Yeah, I think everyone would take Harrison Jr.
It’s funny he says he throws like stroud cause they trained together all last year while cj got prepared for the draft
Dang, Dan sounding like the novice he is in the draft world. This is why success with QBs is so hard, you aren't supposed to watch tape and copy and paste into the NFL, for any position. The job is not to translate skill set but to project the skill set. And that job is 50x harder today where college football is so far from what NFL football is. You have to have some incredibly talented people and a whole lot of luck to decipher how a college QB will adapt to the NFL.
So just because Caleb doesn't have tape that is translates easily (most don't) doesn't mean he can't be great. That is a flaw in the evaluator, not the prospect.
Caleb Williams WILL be the No.1 pick. The only question will it be Chicago or another team.
Besides Palmer, has ANY USC QB ever had success in the League?
Exactly but they 💩 on maye for being from UNC
There's always a first time for everything.
Kind of like Ohio St. QB's.
Caleb a lock for #1
IF CALEB WILLIAMS ISN'T THE 1ST NAME CALLED IN THE 2024 NFL 🏈 DRAFT .. FIRE THE GM OF SAID TEAM .. IMMEDIATELY ..
Who’s got the best pocket piece is crazy dirty Dan
She never have nothing to report … she just be reporting stuff we already know📉
Inclusivity
Jayden daniels body is safe you can’t hit quarterback in the NFL his body is not an issue
Seriously! Lol. Especially if your name is Brady or Mahomes. Or Swift.
Dan a month ago said maye was the best qb now it's jayden and by draft time it will be caleb williams again lol.
Dan also said Drake was the number one pick
This Dan guy is constantly wrong 😂
Jayden is a skinnier Justin Fields with a worse arm.
Justin Fields doesn't have the slightest idea of how to read defense.
He processes information very slow.
I think Daniels has the frame to put on some weight. He's taller than Young too.
Penix is the best pocket passer in the draft with the most experience and throws over 500 passes 2023.
Explain
I think the main reason y'all want to keep Fields is because you want that "haul",
Also Drake Maye and Daniels is not Caleb Williams. 😂
Yes lets take a guy who took 5 years and an elite roster ti be good over a guy who has been great since he was a freshman
Would love to see the Vikings shock the world and trade for that #1 and finally get Jetta a better QB
Bears can't keep Justin Fields and watch Caleb become the Mahomes or even young Watson to their Trubisky.
Right... They said the same thing about Bryce Young.
@@prolific1518 Bryce Young was prototype "System QB", tiny, limited arm and athlete, surrounded by 5-Stars. Caleb is the 5-STAR Mahomes prototype.
@@ImportAl Riley's system does not produce good QBs.
Neither did Ohio State, till CJ lit the league on fire.@@prolific1518
Good thing Caleb definitely ain't gonna be mahomes and even if he's young Watson your would have him for what 5 years and still not make it anywhere keeping fields creating a team and draft shadeur next year
I remember them saying similar things about Josh Rosen when he was coming out of UCLA that "he was into different things" and that's just how these new QBs are. Being a different type of thinker at the QB position lead to the guy becoming a bust.
JW = Bust
Commanders/saints need a jayden daniels
Good very good, commanders can pick either Caleb or Jayden oh yeahhhhhh
Just trade back get more draft picks instead of throwing your future into one pick. Build your line up and defense up and the right qb will fall to you or Justin might just turn into Alex smith after you get the right coach around him.
He is the next Bo Callahan 💪
Jayden Daniels was an unknown no-name QB before he blew up this year. Caleb Williams has been making noise since Oklahoma. Any knock on Caleb this year is simply because his season looks like a “down” year compared to last season when Caleb lit the world on fire. Even Caleb’s down year is a still a really good season. If you take out the Notre Dame game, it’s almost a flawless statistical season.
I’ll take my chances on Caleb rather than the potential one-year wonder in Jayden Daniels. Daniels has some beautiful throws, but Caleb is the only guy who regularly works magic when plays break down, which is something that will happen on a weekly basis in the NFL.
Don't listen to Dan he was scrub in the NFL for a reason
Done listening to orvlosky man
"He a gen z kid"- That's the last thing I want to hear about my number 1 pick. Trade that pick Chicago
Bruh said they would look like the number 10 if they stood next to each other
Ryan Poles is the key to Pandora's box
No. Justin is not the first move on the chess board.
LoL. Dan's just trying to be edgy. Caleb is going #1. Jayden Daniels is just a tall Bryce Young. Being a "dual threat" QB isn't actually a compliment. . . Is Mahomes a dual threat?
If not Caleb then Justin. I don't want a smaller Justin.
1:03 Mute
He’s had one good season, has Mitch trubisky written all over it. I’m sorry but I want a guy who’s proven he can do it repeatedly. Dan is an idiot.
😂 Daniels is a skinny, weaker armed Justin Fields who has the exact same flaws. He doesn’t throw to the middle of the field. I like McCarthy over Daniels.
1A Maye
1B McCarthy
1C Williams
4 Penix
5 Nix
6 Rattler
7 Daniels
Well
The recency bias is insane 😂
